My macbook came in contact with a minor amount of water. However, it stopped charging and then once it died, it would no longer turn on. I visited Geek Squad first, they told me that my laptop was "too new" and they couldn't "open it up". Frustrated, I then went to Apple, where they told me that ANY water damage would render my laptop useless and I would have to just buy a new one. I walked out, even more frustrated. I do not have 4k lying around to just "buy a new one"
Desperate, I did some research and found CompuTech, and thank God I did. I dropped my laptop off to them at the end of their workday on Wednesday. The next day they called to inform me that they had assessed the problem and would move forward with repairs.
I got my laptop back in LESS than 24 hours!! And it works great!
A couple hundred dollars to fix my relatively new laptop compared to 4k to buy a new one...
This place is AMAZING. Thank you so much for fixing my laptop!!
10/10 I recommend CompuTech!

I've been here twice and I can't say enough good stuff. The front desk is great, very friendly and genuinely professional, I work in customer service and I'm critical. They get top ratings
The tech crew are top rate and very efficient. They communicate really well. This place is miles ahead of the chain stores in repairs.
I only scanned the computers they had for sale, but I do expect I will buy my next one here. That won't be soon, because they've been amazing at keeping my old pal running.

Be careful with this place, they delay the work, they charge a lot and if something goes wrong they blame the client.

I LOVED working with these guys! I didn't have to make an appointment or anything, I just brought in the computer (which was a custom build). They gave an initial diagnosis same day, then I called and was able to ask some further questions, which helped them dig a little deeper to find the real problem, which they solved the next day. It was SO fast and I was able to ask them questions directly, which I had a hard time doing at bigger retail computer repair companies. People were also super nice as well. Also, diagnosis and repair were much cheaper then I expected. Definitely using them for all my computer needs from here on out.

Dropped my gaming PC off in the morning, and before the end of the day they had it diagnosed, repaired, and ready before the end of the day. All for a very reasonable price! These guys are great!

Extremely disappointed. Would give a negative score if I could. Please read as this is a warning.
Tldr: I spent almost $1000 and a week with them and they didn't even fix the problem.
I brought my computer late Thursday before they closed. I brought it in because it was crashing constantly and I couldn't discover the cause myself. I also use the computer for homework, and needed things done quickly. Figured I wouldn't get a diagnosis until Friday. That was fine, and I expected that.
Friday comes around and I get a call. My GPU is bad and needs replacing. That's fine, I expected that it might be that issue, I've had a few graphical issues so it makes sense. I ask how long and they say, "It looks like Tuesday. If it is in by 3 o'clock it'll be done that day, if not it'll be done Wednesday." Sounds good. I tell them to order the part which they say will cost about $700, a price that I thought was appropriate, and I'll eagerly await news.
Tuesday rolls around and I'm waiting to hear news. I'm checking my email for updates on the ticket, and I get no phone calls. At about 4:30 I assume that it won't be done that day so I call just to get an update. The man on the phone tells me, "It's delayed and will be there Thursday." Ok, I get it. Things happen.
Thats where my patience wears off.
Thursday (the day of this review) rolls around and once again I have heard nothing. I finally call around 2 in the afternoon just wanting an update. They tell me, "Good news! Part is in, they are doing final diagnostics and the computer would be done in 30 minutes. I tell them great and I'll be there soon since I was about 30/40 minutes away and to call me if there are problems.
When I make it in I am then waiting around for them to charge me. They are talking and not bringing out my computer. Eventually, someone tells me they might have made a mistake. Someone in a tie says that if they made a mistake I'd get a discount. Which is nice, and then he leaves and I am still waiting. Finally someone tells me what is going on. They did make a mistake, some other guy's computer that had the same repair solution was done not mine.
Now I'm less than excited about this because I've been pushed back from a Tuesday to Thursday repair, and now they are saying I'll have to wait longer. I ask when it will be done and the best they can give me is, "maybe the part will be delivered tomorrow and then we will have it done by Saturday." This is unacceptable because I've been waiting already for something I could have ordered on Amazon and gotten overnight delivery for. So I ask to just take my computer back. They say that they will check to see if they have my part in stock, and to wait 5 minutes.
They claimed they had it and that it would be done in an hour. Ok, fine. I go back home and wait an hour. No call. At an hour and 30 minutes I call them, "We are running final diagnostics and it'll be done in 30 minutes. Ok. I go back down. They then tell me it's a different part that is more expensive, but I don't care I have things to do.
I end up spending almost $1000 for a part that could have cost me $600-700 and that they quoted me for. Again, I'm thinking that whatever the problem is it is solved and I can do what I need.
I come home and the computer is *still crashing* constantly. In fact, it's almost worse than when I dropped it off to them. First thing in the morning I am calling for a refund. I spent almost $1000 and they didn't even fix the problem that I came in to have them fix. I can't believe they wasted my time and money like this.
UPDATE:
I went in and asked for a refund. They took back their faulty part and said they would refund me, except since they, "f
