“I recently stumbled upon this incredible shop while traveling on a multi-state roadtrip and it instantly became one of my favorite places! It’s filled with an amazing variety of things—beautiful jewelry, candles, local goods, handmade art, clothes, earrings, pottery, and more. Each piece felt unique and thoughtfully curated, making it the perfect spot to find that special gift or treat for yourself while supporting small businesses.
What made the experience even better was Shelby L. , who helped us shop and recommended local places to check out while we were in town. She was absolutely delightful—bubbly, fun, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping us find just what we were looking for. Her positive energy made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area—you’ll find something for sure!”

“Don't get me wrong; Retro Betty is still my favorite store, but I've been less impressed the last few times I've been there. When I found Retro Betty, it was a dangerous discovery that required a great deal of self-control not to leave the store with an entirely new wardrobe. Everything was cute and solved the biggest problems of modern fashion. A significant portion of the dresses had sleeves and good necklines, the fabric was high-quality unlike the fabrics at most stores that are so thin that every line of what you're wearing underneath shows or that are transparent altogether, and most of the dresses and skirts had pockets. The last few times I've been there, not so much. You'll still find pockets in most of the dresses and skirts, but the fabric quality and modesty of dresses leaves much to be desired. There was one skirt I almost got, but the pockets were too small to fit my phone, and there was a shirt that was a cute style, but if I'm going to pay boutique prices for clothes, I don't want to have to wear a shirt under a transparent shirt. I've also noticed an increase of dry clean only items, which has driven me away from some of the things that have caught my interest. I'm casually keeping an eye on their website, and I'm hoping it will get back to more of the way things used to be when the weather cools down and sleeveless dresses aren't in season anymore.”
“Walked by this shop on my way to breakfast at the Rose Establishment, and I couldn't stop myself from going in! This is the cutest vintage clothing store, art, stationary, home goods, jewelry, etc. store ever. Malinda, one of the owners, was working the counter and let me play fashion show for her with the stuff I tried on. I got the most beautiful 70's halter dress, a fringe cropped jacket, and a watercolor block for my watercolor palette. I can't wait to go back in and see what they have in stock then!”

If your a hippie-loving type, who enjoys the hippie-vibe/bohemian type of clothing, they have items you will love. They also have items that help with healing/holistic practices.

We are not used to their prices, so a bit of a culture shock for us.A lot of shoes in "Clearance" section that shouldn't be, extremely frustrating. We asked about it, they didn't seem to care and defended it as 'not supposed to be there' with no investigation... sticker is the only thing that matters, even if there is 4+ same style in Clearance section.Check out was quick, employees friendly.Recommend with limited expectations.”
“Cute little boutique and lunch spot in Murray with soups, sandwiches and salads. They have a great variety of baked goods as well. Before or after your dining experience you can shop at the fun gift/sweets/clothing area. It’s a lunch only place, so plan accordingly! Just off of Vine Street and 900 E.”
“I love this shop! Almost all of the jewelry I wear on a daily basis is from The Land of Salt. I’ve had several rings, earrings, and necklaces from here for many years and they are beautiful quality and I always get compliments on them. They do permanent jewelry, too and I love my cute permanent bracelet. They also have a selection of clothing, home items, and apothecary that makes it a perfect stop for gifts. The owner and her staff are wonderful!”

Or just be in awe before you open that next bottle of Cabernet from the wine store around the corner. Then GO HERE. And don't be intimidated by the giant phonohorns as you walk in. I went in looking for a wine key. And left with the cutest wine buster and a reminder of why I got into bartending.”

“This is a nice head shop and clothing store downtown that carries a huge variety of reggae/African themed items. The majority of the inventory is clothing and smoking accessories-but they also have some jewelry and novelty items. Service is friendly-the man that was tending to the shop was attentive and put a lot of care into the displays and interacting with his customers. I'm glad to have discovered this little gem while wandering around Salt Lake City. I will be sure to visit again.”
“Bought some sambas a half size too big for my boyfriend from Zumiez before the holidays and we wanted to exchange them for the right size. We had traveled states home by the time we got around to it and I realized I didn’t have my receipt with me. The employees at this store were amazing. One of them helped us find out how to exchange them and ordered a new pair to our address. I know shipping depends, but they literally showed up next day.
