They are the cheapest but the service is the worst, they are never on time, sometimes late for a week , totally messed up with my work flow, probably not going to use them again.

They tried to overcharge me +$100 more after already getting a quote, they delayed the freight for non payment at the terminal, and then refused to take any form of payment but an immediate bank wire transfer (+$30.00). Avoid shipping with this company. Just pay a little more and use a decent provider.

Worse customer service, I give you 0 stars. My delivery is late, called you about it and you give me attitude, you made me waste my time and money. 3 days late and I still have to wait for another 3 days hopefully you bring me my tires.

I am writing this review to express my utmost disappointment and frustration with Central Transport, a company that I have been using for years. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my negative encounter.First and foremost, Central Transport has been attempting to charge us for being a limited access location, despite the fact that we are clearly not limited access. Our three 30' wide gates are consistently open when their deliveries arrive. It is perplexing that they would even consider such a claim when the evidence is right in front of them. Instead of acknowledging their mistake, they seem to be grasping at straws, now insisting that a loading dock is required for offloading. Never before have we been informed of such a requirement, and it feels like a convenient excuse to exploit customers for additional charges.Moreover, the behavior of the driver assigned to our deliveries was absolutely unacceptable. He arrived at our premises in an agitated state, seemingly infuriated by the mere ten minutes he spent waiting in our lot. As a business that relies on promptly serving our customers, we were unable to cater to his unreasonable demands. Our customers are the lifeblood of our operation, and in turn, they contribute to Central Transport's success. The driver's unprofessional conduct, including yelling and screaming, was not only disrespectful but also detrimental to our business's reputation.Central Transport's selective enforcement of arbitrary rules and their lack of concern for customer satisfaction is deeply disheartening. It appears as though they are solely focused on extracting every possible penny from their clients, rather than nurturing a mutually beneficial relationship. As a loyal customer who has relied on their services for years, this sudden change in their behavior and approach is both disappointing and unjustifiable.I strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution before engaging with Central Transport. Their questionable business practices, unjustified charges, and the unprofessional behavior of their drivers leave much to be desired. It is disheartening to see a company prioritize short-term financial gain over customer satisfaction and long-term relationships. I, for one, will be actively seeking an alternative transportation provider that values its customers and conducts business with integrity.In conclusion, Central Transport's recent actions have left me feeling betrayed and disrespected. I implore the company to reevaluate their policies, improve their customer service, and demonstrate greater transparency and fairness in their billing practices. Until then, I cannot in good conscience recommend Central Transport to anyone seeking reliable and ethical transportation services.

Transport delivery is probably one of the worst delivery companies of the USA I have been dealing with them for I still do not have my product printing company that looks at these reviews do not use them

Very disappointed in fact we will be contacting the local news about this place. We have a $10k machine for our business in their possession they told us we had to set up an appointment that they would call us to get that set up no one called this is week 2 of them holding our machine! Stay away from using this company for anything getting shipped!

Damaged my property. Called multiple times to fix my fence no call back no accountability.. took pictures of the truck stuck on my fence n still no response. Garbage company do not recommend

Dishonest billing practices. Used Central Transport via Priority 1 brokers and received multiple false bills claiming limited access, re-delivery required, inspection required, etc. resulting in my bills coming in hundreds of dollars more than the quoted amounts. I have shipped LTL for nearly 20 years and have never had so many huge billing discrepancies as I have with Central Transport via Priority 1. Be very careful about using this freight company or the broker Priority 1 they are working with if you want honest quoting and billing.

Awful. Terrible. Customer service is rude. They are extremely late for my delivery. No contact at all. I will definitely be filing a report with the BBB. This is unacceptable. The cost for shipping was extremely high for such terrible service. DO NOT CONDUCT BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

I've worked at Central Transportation for 7 months, worst employer by far, the terminal manager Josh Cook does not care about his drivers, he will work them until they quit, the guy has issues and takes it out on everyone there including the customers. He does not know anything about leadership, all the drivers quit because of him! What I've seen at Central how they handle the freight that comes in and out, horrible I would not use them for anything especially i wouldn't recommend anyone working there.

I wish it were possible to rate this company 0 Stars because even half a Star would be too generous. We ordered 1 pallet a month ago. According to their website, our shipment had arrived a week ago (which would've been a Thursday as I'm writing this review). They posted online that the truck would leave Friday. It never showed. The contractor had been waiting on his pallet for a month. We told him it would arrive Friday because that's what the CT website said. So we had to tell him we're really sorry, it should arrive Monday. Come Monday, we checked the site again...shipping out Tuesday. So we called them, and they said it won't arrive until the FOLLOWING Tuesday, a week later. At this point we were pretty frustrated, so we were able to talk them into shipping it Wednesday. Yes we had to talk then into shipping our already late product. By 11 o clock AM on Wednesday, we still hadn't seen the truck, and the contractor had cancelled 100 yards of concrete twice. So we called them about 6 or 7 times before FINALLY getting ahold of them to see if we were able to just run to salt lake, about 40 miles away to grab it ourselves. They said "let me check" then hung up. So we called back multiple times throughout the day AGAIN to try and figure something out, and finally, after 2 hours of consistent calling, someone answered. At this point we were pretty angry with the treatment we'd received through this process, even mentioning the massive list of 1 star reviews they had online to which they replied "ok, so?" We asked what we needed to do to come get it ourselves, and he told us there were pallets in the way of OUR pallet, which means the truck had been sitting there for awhile already, and they were apparently unable to move the pallets. Completely unable to do anything, and then they hung up on us. We still haven't heard anything back, and will be calling all of our big vendors (it's quite a list of any of you idiots working at CT read this review) and will be telling them to never go through CT again for any reason. We were blown away by how rude the associates were and how absolutely horrible the service and wait times were. Never seen a business run like this before. Please save yourself the stress and poor treatment, and ship through someone else.

After waiting over a week for delivery for our equipment we started calling several times over the next 3 days to so we could receive our order. The first call I made I was told that the driver had arrived at 1:30pm but left because there was no one there to receive, which happened to be the exact time I showed up in the parkinglot and walked into my boss, 2 contractors and about 8 construction workers within earshot of unlocked doors, all of which knew to keep an eye out for deliveries. When I explained that I was then told they needed a lift gate, which we did not, we had enough people present to unload the pallet by hand.The next day, I called to find out what time the delivery would be, I was told afternoon. I confirmed that they had my boss's phone number as well as mine so we could be contacted by the driver. Every so often I would check the website to see if delivery times had changed, and suddenly saw that delivery was rescheduled for the next day after I had already waited several hours for delivery. No phone calls were made to inform us of this.The next day a colleague was responsible for waiting around, same thing, complete with a last minute rescheduling for the next day after having someone wait around all day to receive them, and no phone calls made. At this point we contacted the call center, we verified that we had paid for delivery, but were told they cannot guarantee delivery. They explained that they didn't have enough drivers. We asked then why were we lied to about drivers arriving when they hadn't and why we were given delivery time when we hadn't actually been scheduled for deliveries. I'm sure you can imagine the answers we were given. We then asked if we could come collect or equipment if we could not get it delivered. We were told we weren't allowed to without the sender releasing the shipment. Insert eyeroll. We contacted the sender, he released it.When my colleagues arrived to pick up the parcel the next day, they had difficulty finding anyone to help them. When they found someone, they brought out a pallet of lawn chairs, not the pallet of electronics we were waiting on, and then insisted this was the right pallet. When we insisted it was not, they finally went back and found our pallet. You know the "do not stack" cones you put on top of pallets with fragile contents? Well those were crushed flat by the pallet that was placed on top of our pallet. Luckily nothing was damaged, and no thanks to them, we got our pallet.I've worked as a shipping clerk and have never seen anything handled quite this badly in my life. It's also interesting to note that every call I made was met with a pre-recorded message directing me to the website due to extremely high call volume. I assume this is because they just didn't want to talk to anyone, because I never actually waited for more than a minute to talk to someone. They were completely dishonest from beginning to end. This company will never have our business again and neither will anyone that subs out work to them.

The absolute WORST company I have ever dealt with. Josh, who is supposedly the main terminal manager is the most arrogant, disrespectful, rude, and asinine individual I have ever dealt with. Very UNPROFESSIONAL. Unable to arrive during scheduled delivery SLOT 3 times and counting for the same load (Still have not received after 3 attempts). always come up with lame EXCUSES for why they missed yet they never contact you to let you know, you have to chase them down for any kind of update. Delivery instructions are on EVERY BOL, yet they have NEVER 1 time had a smooth delivery. Customer service is HORRIBLE.We don't have a choice of whom our loads are sub contracted out to, but I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT IF YOU EVER HAVE AN OPTION OF WHO TO USE FOR SHIPPING, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO WITH ANY OTHER COMPANY!!!
