Well I wouldn’t order anymore wood from Burton Lumber.
We had our deck materials packed and delivered.
This order I’m sore was seen by at least three people before it got delivered. Yard guy. Forklift driver and the delivery guy as well and this is what the gave us to build a deck. I think the just loaded all the crap wood to get rid of it and not think about the customer.
FYI Home depo lumber is better and on average $9 cheaper per 2 by 8 by 14 boards. They are hire price and I was told it was better lumber.
I had it delivered since I don’t have a way to pick up the length of boards I needed.
There like bring it back and Exchange it. Well ok with what?

Drew is such an idiot and I hope the company finds someone with more professionalism and class . There’s a time and place for everything and I hope the company find someone that will treat everyone kindly and not racist towards the people of color.

Initially had a poor experience with a salesperson here, but Kerri Nielson took my quote over and absolutely hit it out of the park for me. As a sales rep for a local builder, I wish all the vendors I use were as prompt and sharp as her. Ensure you ask for Kerri directly anytime you need a quote or estimate. Strongly recommend her.

I bought $1300 custom French doors and the milling was sub par and they had damage all over. It's like they slipped at the end of every cut. They weren't routed deep enough for hardware to sit flush, there were cracks all over the jamb and edges of the door, and half of the screw holes for the hinges that came pre installed were stripped.

Worst burton lumber in ut spent a hour just to tell me some regular hangars (i came to pick up) are special order and everyone in office talking to you with an attitude

Burton was priced higher than the competition but they had what I needed in stock, so I went with them. They delivered 22 boards, many of them were moldy, chipped or warped. I changed the design of my fence to accommodate the ugly boards they delivered, then Burton charged me 25% restocking fee to return two molded and chipped boards. These guy do not care about their customers.

Quadruple check that they write down the right measurements you request. Apparently 16’ means 14’ to someone over there. Plus their delivery guy is slower than molasses on a freezing cold day. If they say 2-5 pm on delivery, expect the latest delivery time possible. Don’t sit around waiting, you will definitely waste your day.

Our contractor sent us to their office to check out the demo products and I was very impressed by not only their selection but more importantly their service. Big shout out to Charlie and Tommy for proactively noticing that we were confused and had questions and for spending so much time walking us through the different deck railings + custom door options. They were very knowledgeable and honest about the pros and cons of different approaches and really helped us identify the best options for us. Going to the showroom also opened our eyes to more options and definitely helped change our minds about which materials work best. Thank you for such a great experience!

Terrible customer service. They installed a garage door on my new house less than two years ago. They had to come out multiple times to fix it after install, bolt falling off, tracks not aligned and so on. Now I’ve got a cable that is fraying and my door is crooked again. I cannot get anyone to call me back or even answer the phone for that matter.
