“The Central Book Exchange is absolutely fantastic. I was lucky enough to happen upon this store while strolling through the neighborhood my son lives in. My taste in literature is a bit off the beaten track and I can't tell you how many times Ive asked for a specific author only to be met with blank stares. After an incredibly warm greeting by the associate at the register, I asked my question (fully expecting a blank stare) "Good afternoon, do you have any Bukowski?" The associate smiled and nodded. Nodded as in YES, of course we have Charles Bukowski. I almost had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Bought the book and also received a couple good restaurants ideas and was directed to a delightful coffee shoppe nearby. Such great genuine customer service.”

“This was a wonderful book store. However they really didn't have hardly any romance. Lots of other stuff but like a very small selection for romance. Otherwise- love the decor, large selection of other books and they had rooms off to the side to meet up and potentially listen/watch other things. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable”

“I went to the bookstore after having zero luck in finding detailed maps of a certain area/geologic feature. I had tried online groups, RM, REI, NatGeo and others but nothing aided in my search.I knew I would find what I was looking for in terms of physical maps but was surprised at the help I received in my quest upon entering the bookstore. The gentleman walked me through every question I had showing great enthusiasm! He even pulled up some online resources and gave me some tips/tricks.I don’t have the words to express my gratitude for his time and service but will say Thank You for a job well done!”

“Great bookshop! It had all the books I was looking for. It’s cozy but much bigger than I expected, with a kids section and small trinkets and games throughout. I’ll definitely come back.”

“I went to find art books on specific painters. Though you wouldn’t think it, the store had many art related books particularly of regional and local artists. The attendant kept coming up with various art related books that were so different than other places because of the highly regional slanting of this book store. Very helpful particularly because I gave them what initially seemed like a difficult task.”

“While the clerk had an unforgettable mustache, he had a burden that dragged my spirit into whatever hell he was dwelling in.Frankly, I did almost leave shortly after arriving due to the swift dragging into the depths of another's despondency.Instead, a quick prayer won my freedom and I found a few things that others would need. Some in just an hour or so, unbeknownst to me!”

They were both so genuine and kind and even when I went to check out the register person was talking to me about the books I got and honestly overall amazing experience and so many options to read and find gems here!”

“The Ken Sanders Rare Book store moved recently to the Leonardo after the old building was being sacrificed for new development. It's a shame, that old building fit the personality of a rare book store so well. I think they're doing the best with what they have. The new location finds the bookshelves in part of the Leonardo museum. There are three levels-you enter on the top level, then can go downstairs to visit the other two floors. As for the collection itself, there's a good variety of many different kinds of books. I spent several minutes browsing through the books from my childhood-The Velveteen Rabbit and the Babysitter's Club series. It's a bit of a time warp. In addition to books, they hold events here occasionally. As a partner at the Leonardo, you can expect some interesting activities and events. Be sure to check in occasionally to see what they have to offer.”

“I go there primarily to buy books of uplifting messages and moral teachings. Yes they stock publications of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but they also sell to the public. They have excellent family- oriented videos and music. Their staff are very knowledgeable,”

“We love coming to shop for all our “Utes” clothing here. My husband looks for new Under Armour and I always try and find new gymnastics shirt each year. We actually come here at least three times a month.”

“They've got a lot of overpriced fan wear, but what am I going to do? A discount for current college students' parents would be nice. Good quality merch. My daughter loves her $50 sweatshirt.”
