I just ate the best rib eye I've ever had. Thanks, Beltex! Today, when I bought them (2 rib eyes, 1 inch thick), they offered to put them in a sous vide bag with herbs and butter, and wow! Sous vide at 125 for 6 hours, then seared in a cast iron skillet, and they were perfection. It was so tender and delicious, like eating steak-flavored butter!

I’m a big fan of Beltex and their mission. They provide very fresh and quality meats and cheeses. Also, their sandwiches are killer. If you have a chance to get one, DO IT. I’ve had the cubano and the porchetta. The porchetta sandwich (the one pictured) is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Very flavorful and filling.

Wow! Get the ramen broth and make a French Onion Soup. It's perfect base. Paired with a red wine it is something you will crave nightly. Oh yeah the Cuban sandwich is boss!

Meatiest elitist, badcustomer service, they never asked if I needed anything after the person in front of me finished ordering and kept ignoring me I guess. Then someone else walked in and they asked them immediately if they needed help with anything.

It is the fantastic personalities behind the counter who make every experience memorable and fun! My global travels remind me of this every time I return home. Go wow your tastebuds fellow gourmands

All the work is done there in the shop. Very knowledgeable staff and very good products. They work mostly with locals for ingredients and materials. Expensive but worth it.

Came for the daily sandwich specials, stayed for the butcher and staff!Everything is great.Images are of a butter-basted smoked pork chop. Montreal steak seasoning, butter, olive oil. Best steak I’ve ever made at home and tasted just as good as, if not better than, any steakhouse steak.

Hands down the best butcher in the city. The care they have for the meat they are making, the skill of their ages meats, the flavor of all their products and everything they represent is perfect. Just took their hog butchery class and I was blown away. Can't imagine SLC without these guys.

Great shop! Friendly/knowledgeable staff! Place was busslin! We had a beefed up curry adult hot pocket that was to die for!! Also grabbed a few hangers & pre-made Bolognese...yummmmm! 100% will be back!!
