Considering the polarity of reviews, my guess is that the owner changes their behavior depending on the customer and the type of service, leading to different impressions. I am joining those that had negative experiences. I like supporting local businesses, but I will definitely not come here again. I came to resize a ring, and the owner was rude the whole time. While I was trying to find the appropriate size to resize to, he gave me the wrong one to try, and then accused me of mixing them up. He hurried me and seemed really annoyed. In the end, he told me the wrong size (as I later found out) and rushed me to decide whether to proceed. After I decided not to, he angrily tossed my ring on the table without any respect. In the end, I went to another jeweler with much better experience, and I paid half the price compared to here. I advise the owner to be polite to everyone, not just the ones whose requests he likes.

I dropped in to see about getting a ring sized, and I could tell from the moment I came in that today Joe was dealing with some difficult personal stuff. He made the time to help me anyway, and when I left the shop, I left with both a ring that fit again and with a new friend. Professional and personable, even under pressure. A local treasure!

I needed my prong tightened up on my custom wedding ring and the owner was amazing! He was quick to squeeze me in and leave me with a few tips and tricks if it happens again. What a great shop very personable and knowledgeable would recommend to anyone!

Joe the Jeweler is the absolute best, hands down. First, he's a Utah local - we love! Truly a generous and kind person. He conducts his business honestly and you are sure to have a good laugh chatting with him if you wish. 10/10 recommend.

Joe! Joe is so wonderful and made our engagement so special. Him and his shop are both so eclectic and unique. The second I gave him a call to learn more about his process he was helpful, knowledgable, and sent me an email with all of the information we needed immediately after hanging up. We had an initial consult with Joe about what we were looking for, and he sat with us for almost an hour explaining the differences in rings, diamonds, qualities, etc. Another couple came in during our consult and he remembered so many details about them, it truly feels like he has a deep knowledge and memory of each of his customers. After shopping around at some of the bigger chains, it just didn't feel right to get a ring from one of those stores, we wanted to support a local place, and Joe made the process seamless and so special, turning around a ring in a short amount of time, which was a complete surprise to me. He has quite the portfolio of designs, and although my ring was a simple one, he has a variety of different designs that he's able to create online. He has a quick design turnaround time and is able to send a 3D design within 24 hours, for free. He can also make 3D moldings of ring designs for you to try on before making the design decision. A truly wonderful experience here, and we are forever grateful for Joe's customer service in making our engagement so special. Thank you thank you, Joe!

Awesome store and people. I called and got a same day appointment to fix a broken clasp on a necklace with a lot of sentimental value. Joe and his family were a great help.

I never been here before, but I walked in trying to get my necklace fixed and they fixed it so so fast. Customer service was great, you can tell that they really know what they’re doing. 10/10 recommendation from me.

Joe is so lovely! He made my dream ring a few years ago and recently resized it for me free of charge. It’s held up beautifully but I needed it a bit bigger and Joe responded quickly and did the work while I waited and chatted. Aside from being a really fun human, he is the perfect jeweler!

I’m not sure what I love more about this place- the quick and professional service or chatting with the owner Joe. He took my super tarnished vintage turquoise ring and made it literally like new while we sat and talked about anything and everything in between. He even polished the rings I was wearing without me asking. I can’t recommend this shop more and I’ll definitely be back! Thanks Joe ☺️
