I usually like coming here, but I had the worst experience coming here this morning. I asked a question about payment methods, Karen the “supervisor/cashier” spoke to me with so much disrespect I was shocked. She swore at me while I was in the self checkout, calling me “a little bitc*” because I put the heavy package of water I was carrying down and it made a loud noise. She then chose to say I was “throwing a bitc* fit”. Saying the b word to me 6 times or more. I then asked for her full name and she refused to tell me it, so I then told her how unprofessional it was to swear at someone especially at her age (she looks about 55+) while clocked in and working. Then Rich the “real supervisor” came and ushered us out of the store without even hearing the story of what happened and telling us to “leave right now!”. So just a warning to anyone who comes here. Go after 3pm when Karen and Rich are gone. Because they don’t hear the customer side and they start conflict with customers for absolutely no reason first thing in the morning. I hope the owner or store manager watches the recording from this morning (09/14/23) because that experience was completely unacceptable, I used to work in a grocery store (Winco as a manager) and never ever seen employees gang up on someone whose not even in their aisle. The only resolution I have received was when I called later in the evening to file the complaint on them and spoke to Keith the closing manager who apologized for his mornings staffs behavior but I still don’t know if I’ll ever come back here again after 3 years of coming here.

Kents is definitely the place to go for good produce and great bakery items. The downside is every time I buy ice cream here it has thawed and frozen who knows how many times. It had been thawed so long that the Carmel and nuts had sunk to the bottom of the container.

(4stars for Keith and the nightshift) Negative stars for the morning staff. The morning employees here are not professionals. My wife was called the b word multiple times (like 5 or 6 times) by some older woman named karen... karen the cashier.. who acted like a child. When I came in to confront her, she lied about it, and lied about being the supervisor too. Her co worker tried to lie for her to, also some older woman, and when I revealed I was on the phone, and that theres cameras recording them thats when they told the partial truth. Some older dude named rich came and told us to get out without hearing our complaints and said "well theres cameras" he postured up on me and was very aggressive. We left when he asked, but to be ushered out after being insulted, with no concern for the customer was unprofessional. Both rich and karen should be disciplined, this behavior is harmful in a business place and it is my belief that they are out to cause mayhem. The saving grace here is Keith the closing manager. Who I found, sincere, respectful and professional. I called with a complaint, he made me feel heard. He reflected well on this company and made me want to come back again. Albeit I'll wait til the night shift, were people seem more friendly. 4 stars for Keith and the night shift. We've been coming at the least once every week for nearly the last 3 years. First altercation in a grocery store.. Ever...

I tried to educate the management on service dog laws and they didn't listen. I was explaining certain things and no response except we will talk to management.. if someone higher up could get a hold of me id appreciate it that way I could explain a little more.

I bought a corn beef brisket a couple of weeks ago, which is stamped best by 5/13/2023. It stunk so bad when I opened the package. After I drained off the juice it wasn’t as bad, but now after it is cooked it still stinks. Well their return policy is only 3 days after purchase even though the item should have been good until 5/13/2023. I understand not letting me return it if it would have been past the package date but it is not. So buyer beware on their meat products, if you don’t immediately use them within 3 days of purchase.

They have great sales. They had a sale on chicken for 40 pounds for $60. That makes it $1.50 a pound. That is a great deal especially with inflation.
