This hertz sucks so bad. The level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. They have a bunch certified wackos running this location. From the butch that works there to little people underneath her. This location is dirty and should be condemned. The cars they rent are filthy. They will offer you a free upgrade not to give you a clean one. The employees love to gossip about other hertz location employees. And they close early because working 8 hours is too much for them. They never answer their phone.

We were desperate for a rental car. Our truck broke down between Nebraska and Idaho during the holiday, not knowing how long the repairs would take we needed a plan. Enterprise was useless. Nope no cars, we're to busy. And left us standing in the parking lot in 20 degree weather. Hubs called Gwen at Hertz explained the situation and she was able to locate a car for us. In the midst of the conversation the call dropped for a low battery. Never fear, Gwen held onto that car until we were able to get there to pick it up even though we hadn't actually completed the reservation process. She went above and beyond to help us out. She runs the whole place alone. Gets the cars ready, takes reservations, answers questions, mans the phones, does intake etc etc. Just her only her. Enterprise had 3 guys working who could've given 2 fiddles about our troubles.The people who complain about availability even though reserved should realize this happens due to computer software issues, not the branches. Or people not returning vehicles on time, not the branches fault.Overbooking happens, just like hotels, flights, etc. Gwen does a great job maintaining her sanity dealing with the pampered public. We need more people like her. Give that girl a raise!

These guys are absolutely horrible. They charged me a $500 deposit which I've never been charged more than 200 and then when I return the car they charged me $200 for smoking in the car when I do not smoke and there was nobody else in the car. I returned the car with a full tank of gas and they also charge via fuel charge I will never rent from these people again.

I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with Hertz, and I feel compelled to share my negative feedback to warn others. Our family trip was marred by a series of inconveniences and broken promises that left us extremely disappointed and inconvenienced, delaying our family vacation and leaving us scrambling for a last minute rental elsewhere.Firstly, the truck we had reserved was not available at the designated time, despite us making the reservation several months in advance. This delay set back our entire trip by several hours, causing unnecessary stress and frustration. The lack of punctuality on the part of Hertz significantly impacted our planned itinerary and put a damper on our vacation, as we missed out on several hours of planned activities.This seems to be a chronic problem for Hertz as the gentleman in front of me also had a reservation that did not arrive on time for his scheduled pickup, and he was forced to look elsewhere for a last minute rental.To make matters worse, when the truck did finally arrive, it turned out to be unusable and I returned the truck after only 10 minutes. We rented a truck in order to tow a small camper, a very short distance to an established RV campground (all paved roads, etc). The truck we received did not have a hitch receiver!When I asked about this lacking feature and a possible exchange to a truck with a hitch receiver, their response was “A hitch receiver is not a guaranteed feature”, they also mentioned that although it’s not clearly stated anywhere readily accessible to customers “technically our policy is no towing using our vehicles”.I specifically looked for a towing policy when I booked the truck online and found no restrictions mentioned anywhere. I’m not really sure what other purpose someone would need to specifically rent a truck for, and I’m also not sure why any of their trucks would have a hitch receiver if that truly is their policy.The complete lack of assistance demonstrated a severe disregard for customer experience. I was forced to search for a last minute truck rental from another company, further delaying our vacation and increasing the stress and frustration of an already terrible experience.I was promised a refund because I had prepaid for a two day rental and did not use the vehicle at all, returning it back to the lot only 10 minutes after receiving the keys (just enough time to drive it home and realize there was not hitch receiver).However to our dismay, even after a week, we have not received the refund. This failure to fulfill their commitment only exacerbates our negative experience and showcases the lack of professionalism and accountability within Hertz.The cumulative effect of these disappointments has left us deeply unsatisfied with Hertz. Our family trip, which was supposed to be an enjoyable and stress-free experience, turned into a nightmare of delays, incorrect vehicle allocation, and broken promises. We expected better service and professionalism from a car rental company of their reputation, but unfortunately, we were sorely let down.I strongly advise potential customers to reconsider using Hertz and explore alternative options that prioritize reliability, customer satisfaction, and transparent business practices. The lack of accountability and inability to rectify their mistakes have left a lasting negative impression on us, and we hope that sharing our experience will prevent others from enduring similar frustrations.We sincerely hope that Hertz takes this feedback constructively and works towards improving their services, ensuring that other customers do not face the same inconveniences we did. The least they could have done was to follow through on their promise to refund my rental. If they had done that we would consider using them in the future and giving them another chance, but since they have failed to do so we will not be returning in the future.

We stopped at this location after experiencing a warningblight on the vehicle we just rented from Salt Lake. The attendent was super sweet and helpful! She was able to change out our vehicle and get us going again in just a few minutes. So helpful!

I rented a car to go to Vegas and when I picked it up the back seat was cover with dog hairs really bad. I cleaned it and when I returned it I told them and they said they didn’t believe me because they’re cleaning guy is the best lol I don’t wanted a refund I just wanted an apology or something like that.In an other location my girlfriend had to use them because her car got recked. The total amount that our insurance covers was 3000 dollars and when we returned the car hertz charged her 215 and she didn’t get her 50 dollar deposit back. Knowing that the insurance covers 3000 way over the total cost they refuse to refund her money. I will never use this location ever again

I had an amazing experience with this location. The staff were amazing, professional and def hard-working. I highly recommend this location A+++, it might looks small but big things come in small packages.

WARNING: just because you make a reservation online doesn't mean they'll have a car for you. The online reservation system "has no way of knowing what cars are on the lot". Not entirely sure how this is still possible in 2023 but it is. I'd expect this from some mom & pop shop but not one of the largest rental companies like Hertz. Office was very clean and staff was polite.

I would give them less than one star if I could. Worst hertz rental shop around. I just went to pick up my reservation and the gal informed me they had 2 cars for 13 reservations. Then they proceeded to tell me I had to deal with all my own cancellations. Do yourself a favor rent somewhere else.

I’d give them zero stars if I could. Absolute WORST renting experience of my life. Terrible customer service. If you’re military or a military spouse, stay away! Budget car rental is cheaper and they actually care about the military community. I’ll never be going through hertz again.

UPDATE: Sierra literally just called and woke me up to talk about my survey and what they can do better. When I told her, she wanted to argue about my experience. I just cut her off and told her I wasn't arguing, told her to have a good day, and hung up.I've never left a terrible review until now. Here is our honest experience that just ended today. My kids were in an accident that required us to rent a car while ours is getting fixed. The rental was from 12/18/22 - 01/16/23. Originally we went thru our insurance, I thought the rental was approved thru the 11th, but found out on the 9th it was only apprived thru the 7th. I Called the insurance and had it extended until the 11th. I then found out I would need the rental thru the 16th, so called Hertz on the 10th, extended it again and they put a $160 hold on my debit card. No problem. I got a call at 11:30 am on the 11th, after telling them that I work graves, from Jerry saying the car was overdue and it needed to be returned. I explained the above, and immediately she said my card declined. It hadn't. I told to her to recheck her system. At that point she straight up lied and said SHE put the extention in, when it had already been done. I got absolutely no apology, nothing. I returned the rental today, and for 5 days @ $24.24 a day I had a bill for $237.67. When I asked for an explanation like the receipt said to do, all I was told was "its for the rental, taxes, and fees." No breakdown of charges or real explanation. I will be letting my insurance know about how we were treated and recommend they not pay for people to rent from here - ever. This wasn't just poor customer service, but absolutely piss poor customer service. After reading the reviews I 100% regret using them for our rental and giving them my hard earned money.
