The childcare workers are so unfriendly and act like they don't even want to be there. I'm talking about the white lady with acne that's always there. Why would anyone feel comfortable leaving their kids there?

This is a follow up review. After paying to cancel my membership in March of 2022, i am still being charged for a membership. i have personally gone into the gym and talked with "managers" 3 times and Vasa continues to help themselves to my account. When i call Paramount acceptance i am put on hold until i give up. (I believe this is on purpose). Today i am going to my bank to report fraudulent activity. I don't know what else to do! these people are THEIVES!

the front desk whipped through a quick sign up for one person and addition companions . understood it to be 1 membership and 17 more for add on which should have been around 27.00 a month . then a one time 50.00 fee they call " rate lock in " . what came out of my account was 49.00 and 100.00 rate lock in. went in to the front desk to get help and " call CS " which we all know for Vasa means a " black hole " . 6 hours later I get a call back . no help but down graded to a 9.99 membership for one and asked for a refund for the " rate lock " on the canceled and they said NO! bait and switch tactics

Constant state of disrepair. Big hidden fees and filthy. If you look throughout this gym at any given time, you'll find 8-10 things that have been broken for months. Lots of better gyms in the area at the price point they claim lol.

This gym has a serious problem with its memberships. It’s quick and easy to sign up but they make it impossible to cancel. The employees do not have access to cancel your membership, which I found out after they told me I was cancelled and then a month later I was billed again. Now they want me to pay ANOTHER month to cancel my membership after they lied to my face. Their support team has ignored my emails on more than one occasion when I bring this up. Save your money and go to a gym that doesn’t steal from you and act like you are the problem.EDIT: Thank you for the quick response. I did reach out to your support team today and unfortunately their response was for me to pay another month to cancel my membership. I just want my membership cancelled, and the 2 months of dues I’ve paid since I was lied to about it should be sufficient.

I like the selection of the machines and the atmosphere is pretty great! Only complaints are that the smell when you first walk in is pretty intense and half the treadmills seem to be broken, but overall the trainers and employees are awesome also.

Theifs, theifs, theifs. You have to pay a processing fee to cancel your membership and they continue to take your money month after month. I have tried to get a refund but they will never let you talk directly to a person. I had to cancel my credit card to stop the theivery.

Sub-par gym. Not many free weights, very few benches, few squat racks, so the free weight section feels cramped. Cardio section all works great, and plenty of machines. If you like free weights, probably go somewhere else.

Misleading offers...Do not be fooled by the advertising they have where they say that the subscription is free. When you sign up they make you sign a contract with 10 thousand clauses that is impossible to read in 10 minutes, among those clauses they stipulate a charge of 58$ the second month for fees... (which in reality is the subscription fee and other things) then they tell you that if you cancel your membership before 6 months you must pay 25$. I tried to cancel my membership after the 6th month there and was told to call or email customer service (lousy service by the way).I don't understand how if they have so many customers the conditions of the gym are so bad, there are several lockers damaged for months, they don't care about keeping the bathrooms clean during peak hours, when a machine is damaged they take a long time to fix it, they have a lot of old equipment.

Vasa I swear is a scam company. Me and my wife signed up for a family plan with kids care. Any normal person would think that means either of us could schedule kids care which you can but only the primary account hold can actually use the plan you pay for monthly on a family membership. The company they use for billing is useless and unable to help with any thing. They say they will call you back and not ever call back or they will hang up on you. Another bad thing is they’re gyms are very run down and neglected tons of broken equipment the gym seriously looks like it hasn’t seen a new piece of equipment in 20 years.

This is definitely a cardio gym. The Squat rack is just sad and embarrassing plus it's missing the hardwood flooring. It's literally 1 rack! I live in Riverton and drive to WJ location, I will be canceling vasa again due to the poor equipment. EOS South Jordan will be opening 2024, it's worth the wait.

Staff need to get off their phones. Super unprofessional. The gym always has trash throughout the equipment areas, locker rooms and tanning. I see the same trash in the tanning bed rooms for days. The lockers are always full of trash and need to be wiped out. There is plenty of cleaning that can be done. Staff need to step it up.

I would rate this VASA at a 2 star. But lately the service is so poor. The employees **do not** care about your questions or concerns. All they care about is constantly reminding guests that they close in 10 minutes by flashing the lights, announcing over the PA, and coming to each group saying they are about to close. I get it, I work in a entertainment park and sometimes want to just leave and go home, but I’m not ruining the guest experience by constantly reminding guests that we are about to close.Equipment has definitely seen better days. Ya’know, the money people fork over for these memberships, you’d think they’d have better equipment.Overall, I used to really like this gym. But the poor customer service and careless employees really hinder the experience.

I've been a Vasa member for a couple years, and I love my location in Sandy! I came to the riverton one because it's closer to my work, and I was super disappointed. The staff themselves just seemed very judgy when I had some issues with my account, and the majority of equipment that I used needed to be repaired, or wasn't even usable. Even though it's literally steps from my work, I won't be coming to this location again. Love the company, just don't like this location.
