My daughter and I sat here for over half an hour, and the receptionist forgot to give the papers saying we were here. Wow, is that not her job ?

I took my 5yo daughter here for some ultrasound and X-ray imaging needs that she had and I’m incredibly impressed with the way they care for the kids here. They had a show on for her during the ultrasound to keep her distracted and the ultrasonographer was so sweet and caring for my daughter. After that they had to do some more invasive X-ray procedures, but they had a child life specialist there with toys and knowledge of the procedure to help distract my daughter and help her understand what they would be doing that really helped my daughter feel more comfortable. They truly care about children here and all the doctors do a fantastic job at helping children feel more comfortable (as much as is possible). Very impressed with all of them and grateful for their care and professionalism!

I have been to this location and the SLC location several times and I definitely prefer this location. Because it is smaller there can be a longer wait time to get in, but the location is always less crowded than the SLC one which I prefer. Both are great, so it's just a preference thing. Staff have always been kind and helpful. I've been able to get ahold of them quickly and get appointments scheduled easily. It is nice that if you call this location and they don't have a doctor available that they can schedule you with the other location so you don't have to make another phone call.

This is one of my favorite locations of PHC. We have been to both the main campus in SLC and the outpatient in Provo as well, but Riverton's location is a lot more relaxed. Procedures seem to run a bit faster as well. If I have a choice, this is my preferred location for my children.

The audiologists are great, but the department support staff, coordination of care, and the call back time for the scheduling line are in dire need of some sort of management and restructuring. God help you if you actually need to call and speak to a human being. The numbers for these departments are more closely guarded than some government agencies. Literally no one can connect you to anyone who works in Audiology, and the operators will just transfer you to the scheduling line. Expect to make multiple calls to said scheduling line before anyone will call you back. If you have an urgent issue, good luck with that. This also applies to the main hospital and the Bountiful location.
