Target is clean and a nice change for shopping. Waiting lines are short. I like human contact and smiles over computer scanning.

I am so grateful to Target tonight. They saved our night. Due to a miscommunication, we were in desperate need of a specific toy. Target's website had the exact aisle I could find it. Unfortunately it wasn't there, but super easy I pressed the call for assistance button. Within a minute a very kind store associate came and spoke to me, so quickly ran to the back and got us the exact toy we needed. Thank you to that associate (his name began with M) and thank you Target!

Usually target is a great place, this one was completely messy. Woman’s clothing had clothes scattered all over the floor. There was also napkins that had been set over a spill near the entrance and just left there.

Riverdale Target has sadly gone downhill the past couple years… nothing is organized and it looks like chaos in there. I went in the other day and immediately left and took my business elsewhere.

The self checkout is now examining your open purses. I was at self checkout and the clerk came over grabbing my opened guess purse and looking inside it and saying, “is this new? I just want to make sure it isn’t ours”. I was so upset that he was assuming I stole the purse and put all my things in it, so I complained to the manager and he stood up for the clerk saying they now have to check everything in the cart.
So be prepared to have them search through your purses and strip search and pat you down from now on. Lord forbid you have a baby in the basket, they will assume you stole him too.
We are moving towards a prison state. They make you do the work for them and then make you feel guilty for stealing when you’re innocent.
The manager was awful
This is what my purse looked like. Completely open and sitting in the cart. Clearly it wasn’t stolen.

I gave up several years ago going to the Riverdale store because its such a mess. I always visit the Layton store because its so easy to shop there. Everything is organized. I just recently decided to give Riverdale another try. I mean its been a few years so I was certain things had changed. Big mistake! There is no way to buy a bra let alone push a cart through the womans area. All the bras were mixed up and about 100 bras on a rack. If you touch one they all fall off. The floor was covered with clothes. The shelves were a disaster. Never again!

This location is a MESS! The clothing sections have no order to them. Various types and sizes all mixed in together making it nearly impossible to find what you're looking for. Online app says location has some things in a certain size available but how do you even find them? Clothes just all over the floor and just thrown on shelves when they fall off hangers. Absolutely awful and overwhelming. Then only one register open with a few self check outs. They must be understaffed to let the store look like this, but still.

Never any cashiers and the ones that are there are rude (probably due to being overworked with lines 10 customers deep all day)

Love the target Drive Up option. Makes my life so easy whether I need 1 thing or 30.

Always disorganized, understaffed, long wait times. The employees look depressed and underpaid. If amber is still over the store she has failed big time.

Absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with an employee at any store. The employee was Chase, who was working the drive up service.
After checking in for my order, he came to my window and let me know one of my items was missing but that he could load up the rest of the stuff in the meantime. My exact words were “okay, no problem, thank you”
In response to this, he told me if he could give me any ‘advice’, it was that if I wanted to use this service in the future, I should give them more time before checking in. And that it was my fault they weren’t able to find the missing item in the amount of time I gave them.
I was extremely caught off guard by this comment, as it was completely unprovoked. I never once made any comments about the amount of time it was taking. I understand I only gave them about 10-15 minutes before checking in, but I was running other errands in the same parking lot, so I gave as much notice as I could. Also, I’m not sure why I was receiving these comments as I never once made any sort of complaint and was totally understanding of the amount of time it was taking.
After loading the other items, Chase then told me that there’s nothing else he could do at this point because the other item was missing. Said “so I guess I’ll talk to you in a bit since that other item isn’t ready” and walked away back into the building. I was sitting there in shock waiting for the other item wondering why I was receiving this treatment for absolutely no reason. After my order was complete, I continued to watch him run around flustered with other orders and shaking and yelling at his device.
This employee should not be working with customers. If he can’t manage the stress and feels the need to take it out on customers, especially ones who are understanding and patient, maybe a role such as stocking items in the back would be better fit for him, or maybe a job not with Target since a majority of the roles with this company expect basic customer service skills.
It also seems like he must’ve noticed my husband had ran inside while I was waiting for this order, as I doubt he would’ve spoke to me this way had I not been alone. Very disappointed and will not be using Riverdale pickup any more. I truly hope the manager of this location will address the situation after discussing the issue with him.

It’s been my opinion that Target has been above Walmart. The past few times I have been to the Riverdale Target, I have been shocked at the condition the store has been in!!! Just like the pictures that have been posted. The first time I saw it I figured they had a bad day.. but after several other stops there, there has been no improvement. The posted pictures prove to me nothing has changed!

I haven’t visited this Target location for quite a while. Opted to get an online order pick up. Looked around the store afterwards and the women's clothing and shoe departments were a disaster. Clothing and shoes piled on shelves and all over the floors throughout the entire department. I’ve always considered Target to be higher end than Walmart. Not sure at this point. Mens bathroom was out of soap in both dispensers and the check off list hadn’t been done all day. I wasn’t impressed.
