Pricing is inconsistent. What if - hear me out - you just said hardbacks $2, paperbacks $1, kids 50 cents. I've had books in the same series priced differently....Also the clothes are overpriced - I can find pants for my kids for the same price at Walmart and they're new.Otherwise, nice, well organized. Worth a drop in once or twice a year.

I was in the other day and was shocked to see a pair of jeans with a tag of $25 dollars? They are brand new for $60? Why is the church starting to exploit those in need? A second had store that's abusing the community #SHAME

What has DI become? It's basically a reselling company trying to be eBay.....this use to be a great place for lower income people to find great deals on quality stuff that was donated for free.....now they just look items up on eBay and reselling sites and try to get the highest dollar possible for items. Now it prices out low income people trying to make side income to feed their families. The church again proves it's only out for financial gain!! All about the Benjamins baby!!! $$$

The employees are friendly and helpful. The employees do a great job of taking care of the customers and keeping the store clean and organized. Such a clean and organized store!

Not a bad store but some of the prices are questionable. I've never seen a thrift store that gets free donations charge so much for some things. If I can find it cheaper on eBay, that's an issue. They need to understand they are a thrift store that gets donations. Not a pawn shop or an antique store. It's honestly cheaper to buy things from online vendors unless you want something that's broken or incomplete.

This is a great place for clothing and knick knacks and is very clean and organized. However, sometimes the clothing seems overpriced. Paying $10.00 for a small woman's sweatshirt that isn't even name brand is kind of outrageous imo. You got it for free. I don't think inflating the prices does your community justice just because prices are going up everywhere else. You could sell 2 sweatshirts for $5 each and that will help move merch and help your community.

This thrift store prices are so outrageously high you can get the same type of clothes at the refuge thrift store in town for like nearly 75% cheaper than buying from the Desert industry thrift store. Desert industry thrift store never has like any type of clearance during the month like all the thrift stores I've been to include the other one in town. D.I not testing there electrical stuff they will on random plug it in and see if it turns on but to check and see if the item actually works they don't, plus they put on the price sticker "as is" so when you bring home something that you do see it turns on but won't play a DVD or CD or something similar like that they won't give in store credit for items that not working. Plus if you bring home clothes and want to wash them before trying them on because D.I doesn't wash the used clothes if they not fit and even though you still have the tag and receipt they won't allow you to exchange it because the price tag was taken off so that you could wash before trying them on. At refuge thrift they work with the customer if you were to buy an electronic item and it didn't work they let you exchange for item in the store. But refuge has a person that does test stuff not like D.I to just put out items charge an outrageous price and not even test it and put on the price sticker as is this is a scam a rip off
