Passport Renewal Training IssuesThe worker who assisted me was very nice, patient with my kids as we did their photos, and processed the application quickly, we had scheduled an appointmentThe main issue was that I needed passport cards for a land crossing, and on the main government website it states you can expedite passport cards which take 2 to 3 weeks for $60. The employee emphatically stated that this was incorrect, passport cards cannot be expedited and based on my travel date they essentially forced me to buy the books which was another $200 more than I needed to spend. I had made an appointment and didn't want to be a nuisance, so I accepted this then left.Afterwards, I called the passport agency government line, and two different supervisors assured me that passport cards can indeed be expedited for children, there is a rushed mailing service that is for the books only, and she must have gotten this confused. I even mentioned this in the meeting but she was adamant that expediting passport cards could NOT be done.As long as my passport books for my kids get here in time, it's not that big of a deal, but I was a little annoyed that she was wrong about this issue and I just want proper training to be done so this doesn't happen to other people. There is a small chance that the expedited books will take longer than the expedited cards would have and my trip window will be in jeopardy, I am crossing my fingers this isn't the case, and will be pretty upset if that happens.Regardless it seems I am unnecessarily stressed and out a good chunk of money, despite the worker being wrong. I submitted a ticket on the USPS website, hoping they can rectify this issue with training.

This Provo location did a fantastic job helping us renew a passport. Clerk Letizia behind the counter was highly professional and to the point in getting us in and out very efficiently. If you are considering renewing a passport, this location is the best! They have a dedicated area for passport business and guards customer's privacy during the process.

A package I ordered was sent back because they couldn’t find the address when it was written completely right. They never answer the phone and my mailman never takes my outgoing mail.

They only have one person to help. When I arrived there were 24 people ahead of me and they close for lunch. I have no idea why the service is so poor

The service is terrible. My parcel lay in their office for two weeks and it was sent back. No one delivered it home, as my brother works from home and there is always someone at home. No notifications about the parcel were also left. Online tracking was about late. I have never had a worse postal service.

Terrible inconsiderate people. Very slow, long waits even when there isn't a line they make you wait just to make you wait. Feels like they don't want to be there, let alone help a customer. Exactly what I would expect from a government employee.

Absolutely unacceptable to have just one person here and that only person has spent 15 minutes in the back looking for a customers package. And then on top of that had the audacity to essentially tell me indirectly to be better prepared and have the package prepared before coming to the counter. I already had the label ready to attach on the package and then put the items inside and seal. Plus getting a receipt my transaction took may 60 to 90 seconds. Compare that to the 15 mins he spent with the customer before me and never said anything to how much time he was taking to serve him. Hmmmmm!?! Help me out here.

Hector and his wife are the most helpful, informative, and kindhearted people. Hector was beyond reassuring and thoughtful during a stressful time, and went out of his way for the benefit of others. Their small actions made a big difference. For any future career opportunities, they should absolutely be first pick.

This post office is generally less busy than others in the area. The staff is excellent, especially Cynthia. She is knowledgeable, works quickly and efficiently, and carries a delightful conversation. I have always had a really good experience at this USPS location.I do recommend coming during odd hours like 10-11 or 2-3 for the best chance at dodging a line.

The amazing person at the passport counter helped me so patiently and gently. Their calmness and helpfulness really put me at ease with the odd passport problem I had been experiencing. They solved my problem like a professional, and I am so grateful for their service today.

It's the post office it's the same as it always has been and probably always will be. Long lines, expensive services with postage prices that increase yearly and filled with staff who hate their job for every 1 good employee you will have 2 bad ones who just get ran over all day long and just want to get your transaction complete so they can help the next person in line.

The indoor after hours parcel/package drop box is frequently jammed. And, even though I can hear lots of activity behind the door, no one ever responds to the bell for service. Super frustrating. I want to give you my business. I want to give you my support. Just can’t.

Despite us not having an appointment the woman at the passport office was able to fit Us in and get passport pictures and applications done for all seven of us in our family. Our experience here was far superior to the horrible experience we had atthe Orem post office.
