If I could give this post office zero stars, I would. I am completely disappointed, frustrated, and baffled at how horrible this post office is run and how poorly this situation was handled.
After moving into a new place, our management company misplaced the mail key (a whole other story), so me or my roommate had to go into the post office ourselves so we could show proof of our lease and fill out a bunch of forms in order to get a new mail key.
My roommate visited the post office Monday morning, only to be told she was at the wrong location (an issue we faced due a complete inability to reach an actual person on the phone). She finally found the right office, only to be informed that getting a new key would take over TWO WEEKS. Not sure why it takes that long.
So she filled out multiple forms, including one to hold our mail so that any existing mail in our box could be retrieved. We were assured by the staff that we could pick up the held mail the next day (Tuesday). To ensure there were no issues (because we have important mail we need access to ASAP), I also went in Monday evening to fill out the same form and reconfirm (at least four times) that our mail would be available for pickup the next day. The staff assured me (four times) it would be.
However, when my roommate went to pick up the mail on Wednesday, it was nowhere to be found. Additionally, the forms we submitted were mysteriously missing (where are these forms going?? the same blackhole our mail key went into??). She filled out the form a third time, and again we were told to return the next day. So we go in again on Thursday afternoon to pick it up, and the mail is STILL NOT THERE, although the guy we talked to brings out two of the forms we filled out (I guess they weren't lost??).
The person assisting us (I think his name was Robert) was extremely unhelpful and rude, and he told us to come back in an hour to see if it's there. Well of course, we come back TWO hours later, and guess what's not there (OUR MAIL). When we expressed frustration, Robert literally told us to try STAKING OUT THE MAILBOX TO INTERCEPT THE MAILMAN???? What a joke. Like we have time to spend our entire day making sure the United States Postal Service does THEIR jobs.
The only person who was semi helpful and informative was a mail lady named Bianca who we intercepted on her route (thanks Bianca). But long story short, after 6 visits to the post office (and waiting in a GIANT line every time), they are still holding our mail hostage. Apparently it takes less than a brain cell to work here because this has been a massive waste of time

Cynthia was very kind and professional. I watched her interaction with a previous customer who needed language assistance, and she was patient and understanding. She apologized to me for the wait, though I didn't mind at all. When it was my turn, I was served promptly and was out of there less than a minute later.

Inarguably the worst service in Utah. Impossible to reach or get any help from. They lost hundreds of wedding invites and have been completely useless in making it right. This scam is run by incompetent people.

Never picks up the phone. Doesn't notify when i delivery can't be made. Takes three weeks to get a package that was delivered three week previously.

Your lazy buts couldn't find my easy to find address, and instead of holding my package for even one day, you sent it back to the sender. Great job, now I have to contact the seller. Thanks for the headache.

Not enough people working here. Line of about 20 people. Simple interactions taking a long time because they run out of stuff like paper. Last week the self serve machine was breaking, too. So can’t use that either.

Usps has lost my packages when I ship, and often they don’t deliver my orders on time (or not at all). Wish it wasn’t the case, but probably the worst postal service I’ve ever experienced
