Our recent visit to the Provo store was marked by a small hiccup, but what truly stood out was the remarkable response from the owner, which transformed our experience entirely.Upon arrival, we encountered an issue. However, what could have been a source of frustration quickly turned into a demonstration of exceptional customer care. The owner, upon learning of our situation, personally intervened to ensure that we were taken care of promptly and effectively.Their swift action and genuine concern for our satisfaction were truly commendable. Not only did they resolve the issue swiftly, but they also went above and beyond to ensure that we felt valued and appreciated as customers.This level of attentiveness and dedication to customer satisfaction speaks volumes about the ethos of the Provo store. Despite the initial hiccup, we left feeling not only satisfied but also impressed by the owner's commitment to excellence.It is instances like these that truly set businesses apart, and we are grateful for the owner's exemplary response. We look forward to returning to the Provo store in the future, knowing that we will be in good hands. Great fun for a date; lasts about an hour or less! Lots of customization options and also not too pricy if you just do one candle.

It was a fun and cute experience, a bit more expensive than I was expecting. And it doesn’t take long. I liked the variety in scents, I just don’t know if it was worth the cost for how little you actually do.

I love the wick lab! This is my second time going here, and we went for my boyfriend’s birthday (he loves candles) and it was great! The workers were friendly and helpful, it was organized, and fun! Definitely would go back again.

I guess if you like cozy places, nice people, and a date night other than a movie, the Wick Lab fits the bill. ;)The experience is consistently great every time I go there, and I love that it keeps giving for the next many months.

Lots of fun. A venue not for the faint of nose, it's a good thing the whole process for a single candle takes only about an hour. They have lots of neat scents. You go in, sign a waiver, grab a clipboard with order slip on it, and follow the instructions on it. You go along smelling sample candles of all their scents (smeller-reset jars of coffee beans are found among the shelves as well), and you write down the names of aromas you prefer as you go. After that, grab your candle wax vessel (about half a dozen options from $25-$30) and find a seat at the bar. The Chandler (candle maker) offers you a traditional or crackling wooden wick and then you adhere it into your vessel with a puffy sticker. They then fetch scents for you to test combinations. Bottles of oils that you carefully squeeze so that puffs of aroma combine and swirl under your nose. Once you find the combination you like, you drip out amounts into a shot mixer in the ratio you deem worthy, then you unavoidably spill as you carefully dump it into your pitcher of wax. You stir, stir, stir and they tell you when to stop. As you pour the wax into your candle vessel, I recommend holding your spoon over your selected wick and drizzle the wax over the back of the spoon, like rain pouring onto an umbrella, and it'll protect your wick as the wax smoothly gathers below. They then hand you a sticker so you can customize a label for your candle. Loads of a good time getting wholesomely high on fun and fumes. If you reserve a time ahead, it seems you save some bucks, though walk-ins are welcome. They use a tablet for checkout and naturally it asks if you want to leave a tip. Then you leave your candle there to set at least a day, and you depart with a yellow slip to reclaim your prize another day. Would definitely recommend! It's a great experience or product to gift as well. Didn't even check if they had restrooms or any water or such. Just got in and out almost the only two folks in there on Friday just after opening (3 pm).

We love the Wick lab! This was our second time going, and we made a Christmas candle for the upcoming holiday. It smells amazing and it was such a fun experience! Definitely more expensive than any candle you buy at the store, but you're also paying for the experience of customizing your candle scent and making the candle yourself! They also have the option of making wax melts instead of candles which is super cool! And maybe lotion too? I thought I saw a sign for that but I'm not certain. ?

Went the other day with a friend and I was very pleasantly surprised with how the whole experience went! I've never made my own candle before, but I love all the different kinds of scents they had. The candle making process was easy to understand and fun. It made me feel like I was in school at chemistry lab! And every employee there was welcoming and had a smile on their face :) I will definitely be back to make more candles.

I went for a girls night and it was so much fun! There were a ton of yummy flavors to choose from and I love the way my candle turned out! I didn't know going in but you can also make your own scent for lotions too which I definitely want to try later.I also appreciated that they have a corner for small businesses to sell their products!

I have been so excited to try this out and it was definitely worth the hype. It was so much fun to smell all the scents (which are delicious by the way) and then work on your own combination.I felt like I got a great bang for my buck, and even got a discount because I booked a reservation online.The store itself is absolutely adorable, and the staff was more than wonderful.I would highly recommend this for a date night, girls night, or fun activity!
