I LOVE this place! So much to offer. Fun atmosphere. They have everything and all kinds of unexpected surprises. Owners were so cool I wanted to stay and hang out with them! And costume or beauty needs, this is your place. Great hair products too! Love them!

Bought clippers from here. Came back an hour later after I found out they are broken. They refused to give a refund. Absolutely no refunds at this store. I understand on some of the products, but come on. It was broken! They offered store credit, told them I’d do a charge back if I don’t get a refund. She said “if you have to go that route, as she kept the clippers.” Reporting charge back

I didn’t know what to do for Halloween. I walked in at 3:30 pm, Halloween day, and was able to walk out with a costume that was a huge hit! Friendly, knowledgeable, and highly talented staff! They did all the makeup, hair, and costume. My son was also able to get a great costume as well. I would definitely recommend.

Best place to go for wigs and accessories! The customer service is top notch! They keep me coming back and treat me like gold. I don't go anywhere else for my wigs!

Don't be fooled by the sign that says retail customer parking. The State / City sign directly above / next to this sign that reads "Public Parking" supercedes Taylor Maids retail signs that they put in front of the store. "Ernie's Sports Deli" is directly next door gets 10X the amount of traffic and Taylor Maids is deterring people from parking close by. Shame shame... tisk tisk...

Rude store manager with poor customer service- I’d buy costumes elsewhere if I were you.I had called 2 days before asking if I could try on numerous costumes in the store, and an employee (with the voice of the manager) said yes.Once I had driven all the way to their store, the manager and his wife (with a sassy tone) said I couldn’t try on costumes, because “everyone would constantly be trying on costumes if they could.” Oh really? Sure…My costume project was due the next day and this made my life a whole lot harder.I shared that I was disappointed because an employee said that I could, and he said “it must have been the way you phrased it.” He blamed me, though I had been clear on the phone. He proceeded to call over a female employee and angrily reprimanded her in front of me when I had clearly said it was a man who had misinformed me.I got no sorry’s or sympathy, just sass from him and his boomer wife.Next time try to not blame your customers and other employees for your mistake. Take accountability and make an attempt at being less rude. Also, I don’t care what silly excuse you’re going to try to make in response.

The couple that run this store are very nice and kind. I walked in randomly and they let me browse leisurely and answered all my questions about the products. Some of the conversation was very meaningful, about life and traveling. The store name is Taylor Made I believe, not Taylor maid. Taylor is the surname of the owner. His family is one of the oldest residents of Provo, if I remember correctly. I recommend visiting the store.

The staff at this store is always helpful and friendly. My wife and I tend to require a bit of seasonal costume help around this time of year and we are always able to find what we need here. We stopped by recently to make a few last minute purchases and the owners were there and gave us some tips and help in getting my wife's wig to stay in place as it was slipping and sliding around a bit. They are always genuinely happy to see us, and their friendly faces are one of the reasons we keep going back. Great products, great service, and great people... that's pretty hard to beat.

Used to go to the one in American Fork. Wanted to check out this one with my friend. Like the other one, there is a lot of stuff in not the most ideal space size. Was a little weirded out to be kinda watched by one of the store employees in the event I might do something “shady,” seeing as I was the only colored person in that entire store. The one thing that I found pretty offensive in the store was a body paint with straight up black face on it (white man on the packaging completely painted with black paint). I get that it’s not their own product but they are selling it, so that was worrisome about what else may be in the store that we didn’t see.Update:They responded saying that the same company has the person on the packaging look the same, just in different colors. Thinks it’s not problematic because yellow face is also VERY problematic??? Ummm yeah I brought their rating down to a one because ummm if you can’t see how bad that is, then imma tell everyone about your problematic products

I won’t be returning to this store. I came here to look at cosmetics and costume choices. At first, the workers were very helpful. After I told them I didn’t need further help they were just leaning over my shoulder while I was looking around. Which is fine incase I had questions. I was going to purchase hair products and the guy with the top hat was acting as if I was going to rob them. I was feeling very uncomfortable. I already feel uncomfortable as it is going out in public since I’ve had a lot of health complications lately. Including losing my hair and pigmentation in my skin. Word of advice, keep a healthy distance and look from afar. Not right next to someone. Thank you.

This place sucks. I rented the Sir William costume from this store. When picking up the rental the worker stated that the costume was in perfect condition, which was not the case. Upon taking the costume out of the box we noticed there was some small damage on the costume (a broken piece of plastic about one inch wide). I brought this to their attention upon returning the item so they would know for future rentals. Later I received a phone call telling me that they were charging me $430 for the damage. I would be fine paying for the charge if we had damaged it, but $430 for something we did not do is a bit ridiculous. On the phone the employee claimed that she noted the costume went out in perfect condition. They noted that the sword was missing and that is all (the sword I received was not right sword for the costume). The employee told me that maybe the costume broke during transit, which would mean that the peice of plastic would be in the box or in my car, the broken piece of plastic was nowhere in the box, which was full of dead spiders and cobwebs I might add, and it was not in my car, which leads me to believe the damage likely happened a long time ago. I do not mean to be mean because I understand that they are just doing their job, but I wish they would've been reasonable. We did not damage the costume. Even if we did damage the costume, which again we did not, $430 for an inch of plastic is highly unreasonable.I find the price I was charged highly disproportionate to the amount of damage on the costume, which I repeat we did not do. It makes me disheartened that I was charged for bringing something to their attention with good intentions. I make efforts to support local business and we used to rent from Taylor Maid very frequently, but never again. $430 CHARGE FOR DAMAGE I DID NOT DO.

Stopped by randomly walking in Provo and so glad I did. Such a school store to see with some much to offer!
