I highly recommend this business. I had a very unique ring with 2 diamonds on it and they did an amazing job putting it together. They are very reasonable with their pricing and they were always available to talk to me on the phone whenever I had questions. The owner (who was very nice) even talked to me a few times. They also expedited the development of my customized ring and they made sure it arrived in time for the planned engagement day. Would absolutely use them again and I would recommend them to family and friends.

We got our engagement ring designed by Taylor Custom Rings and we couldn't be happier with the process and the result! We were looking for a very specific stone (a lab-grown hexagonal-cut diamond) and they were able to source two for us when we had previously spent ages looking to no avail.
We were originally a bit skeptical of going with Taylor Custom Rings as we were unable to visit them in person, but they did everything to reassure us, including a video call consultation.
They were also extremely accommodating and communicative throughout the design and shipping process. I was happy with the amount of artistic liberty they took during the design process (some changes really did improve the design, and they were happy to change anything we didn't like), and they made the final ring exactly according to the design. Their service and work is phenomenal!

This review is long over due but I cannot thank the staff enough for helping us design my dream ring. My fiancé and I loved that the staff was so informative and excited to work with us as it made every step of the process easy/fun. We will definitely be reaching back out when the time comes to start designing our weddings bands.

High praise to Amanda for her warm and welcoming manner and expertise in the challenging world of engagement rings. I was supporting my son on the process of finding an engagement ring that had all the elements his fiance hoped for. After an exhaustive search which was not leading to finding what he wanted, just by chance we learned about Taylor Custom Rings. Amanda was able to turn my son's search from stressful to a fun and wonderful experience. Her great ability to listen and excellent communication resulted in my son creating an engagement ring that is more gorgeous than imagined and with exact gem and metal my son wanted. TLDR: you won't regret getting your ring here!
We visited multiple jewelers in socal, ranging from LA to SD. I wanted moissanite and mainly searched online forums for the best places to go in person and try out rings, since I had no idea what I wanted in terms of style. I feel like other places either tried to persuade me to switch to lab grown diamond or they priced their moissanite very high. Finally, I was about to settle with East West Gem Co, but found really bad reviews online about longevity and stone quality. I was very lost and nothing felt right, so looked on maps to find local places in SD. I found taylor custom rings and while seeing their designs and website, something just felt right. This gut feeling was confirmed when I went to the showroom in person with my husband and we had Janet taking care of us. She was so sweet and attentive and an absolute cheerleader! I never felt judged for what I wanted and she just made me feel more confident in my opinion.
Their rings are designed with longevity in mind and their moissanite is soooo nice! I would even say my stone is better than the brilliant earth moissanite.
I chose the base design and told my husband what I liked about different rings and he ran with it from there! I love my custom piece and will get all my wedding/anniversary bands from here. I have recommended this place to multiple friends and they also love the service and quality of pieces here.

My husband and I were talking about upgrading my wedding ring and I started looking at online stores and I stumble across TCR, and I fell in love with their bezel settings and I was interested in a bezel emerald cut east west style. I filled out the survey on the custom design inquiry and Allie reached out to me within 24hrs via email, she provided details on the process and also included 2 emerald cut option links to view. I emailed her back if she could provide a size that would be in-between the 2 options provided and I decided to go with that option once she emailed me the link. The whole process was just so pleasant, working with Allie was great, I sent her ideas and explained what I was going for, and she nailed it on the first try. We only changed the band measurements to be slightly thicker. I decided to do a custom band after and I wanted to incorporate my 2 kids birthstones. The design came out perfect. After receiving the set, I had an uh oh moment with the band and had to resend to TCR to be fixed. Amanda helped me thru out the process, her and the goldsmith presented an option to me so i wouldn’t have another accident, with minimal change, looking very close to the initial design. Upon receiving the band back, it honestly looked better! I guess it was meant to happen!
Overall this was a 10/10 experience, I never would had thought to go custom ever. This opened my eyes to custom jewelry and I’m definitely looking forward to more custom pieces down the road, very pleased I got to work with TCR. ?

Wonderful custom ring shop in the heart of Carlsbad . Ashley and Jerry are wonderful people and they helped me get my ring before my scheduled proposal date by putting a rush on my order after I had given them a tight timeline. The end product is beatiful and well crafted . I Would definitely recommend working with this locally owned shop for all jewelery needs!

I had an amazing experience getting an engagement ring from then. I was able to get exactly what I wanted while still paying less than what other places were asking for rings that weren't even custom. All the people I interacted with were very kind and helpful and I never felt judged for being younger like I had at some other places I went to.

We have had such a phenomenal experience with Taylor Custom rings! My husband and I have been wanting to upgrade my engagement and wedding bands for our upcoming 20 year anniversary. We weren’t sure where to go. I had walked by Taylor Custom Rings previously and thought their shop was so stunning and thought for sure we couldn’t afford whatever was inside. Then I went online to see what places near me could do the job and their shop came up. I told my husband I wanted to check it out but thought it would most likely not be the final shop we would choose. Honestly, I absolutely adored their designs and decided immediately this was THE place for us and I hoped the pricing would work out too! Not only did I love their designs but I love how their gems are ethically sourced, they are my kind of people! They took my original engagement diamond and customs built a new setting to go around it. It came out so stunning! I’m still in shock and so excited about it! I felt badly to say goodbye to my old setting and they cleaned it up for me and put a CZ in the place of the main stone so I can still use it if I want or save it for an heirloom. We just loved working with Jerry and Ashley as well as their associates Sawyer and Amber. Everyone is so personable and approachable. Their prices are reasonable and I’m so glad we now have jewelers in our neighborhood that we can trust. Also my husband now knows I love their designs so hopefully he’ll know where to go for future special occasions!!

I seriously cannot say enough good things about my experience with Josie. I was referred to Taylor Custom Rings by a friend that used them for her engagement ring after I tried on countless wedding bands and couldn’t find anything that I liked. I honestly couldn’t even tell you what I was looking for, nothing seemed to go with my engagement ring (which wasn’t from Taylor).
When I met with Josie virtually (since I live across the country) she was so helpful and intuitive. Based on next to no guiding direction except that I wanted it curved around my diamond, she came up with this beauty.
From start to finish this was a seamless project with a ton of communication from everyone involved from Josie to Amanda, I can’t express enough how wonderful they were. Even shipping back to me was so fast, they sent it the night before and I signed for it the next day!
I will 1000% be going to them again in the future and will recommend them to everyone I know—and already have been! Honestly, this has been the absolute best part of wedding planning and I am so glad I did it. If you’re on the fence, do it. You will not regret it.

I am in love with Taylor Custom Rings!!! When I went through their website, I knew they were the one. They offered such stunning designs, they were lab grown diamonds (which was important to me), they offered custom designs, and I loved the brand's story. I knew my boyfriend, now fiancé, was going to propose to me and I'm a very picky person. The jewelers he showed me did not fit what I was looking for. When I told them I want my ring to be from them and showed him the website, he immediately was on board and he sent a contact form to them. They were so responsive and got back to him quickly! Josie was so amazing at what she does and designed my dream ring!!! She was really patient, understanding, knowledgeable, kind, and so easy to talk to. It's as if she knew what I wanted when my fiancé described what I wanted and sent examples to her. My fiancé and I were so excited to attend their store's grand opening and we had such a pleasure to meet Josie and the owners - Ashley and Jerry. They were the best and they were the sweetest people ever! Jerry and Ashley were radiating warmth and I enjoyed meeting them. They took their time to have a conversation with us to learn about our story and I got to tell them how I found their website. I fell in love with their storefront and it was so beautifully designed and it felt so luxurious, while being bright and welcoming. When I finally got my ring, it was everything I wanted! The quality and design felt so unreal and to this day I recommend Taylor Custom Rings to everyone when they want to look at my ring. You can tell they poured their love into their business and they make sure everyone has the sparkly magical moment when they get to say "yes." To this day, I still look at my ring and think, "Wow I can't believe this is real and it's mine!" I can't wait to have my wedding band be designed by them again and I will be working in the future with this amazing team to help design my fiancé ring. Thank you Josie, Ashley, and Jerry! I can't wait to have more jewelry be designed for our next chapter in life: our wedding!
