Every time I have to interact with certain people who work in the pharmacy, I am disrespected, then when I go to complain, the pharmacist/manager completely negates my statements, disregards my concerns, shows no care whatsoever that should be shown by healthcare providers. They lie, they don’t let you know if they are out of a medication until it’s time to go pick it up, they are rude on the phone and I’d recommend any pharmacy other than this one. 1/10, would NOT recommend to anyone.

Good staff, they are helpful in getting you the best price on your medication. If you shop at Smith's regularly, this should be your go to pharmacy.

This pharmacy is terrible. They never call to let you know a prescription is ready, and you could have been waiting for days. Most recently I waited 6 hours after the doctor's office confirmed Smiths had received my prescription order, still hadn’t heard anything so I called and they hadn’t even started on it! The prescription was an antibiotic for my baby who was in a lot of pain so I called and asked for a rush and they said they would get working on it as soon as possible. I even double checked that they had my correct number so I could get a call as soon as it was ready. Well over a hour went by, and they eventually closed for the day and I still didn’t have the meds. The next morning I called to check the status and the automated machine said it was ready for pickup. This is not the first time they have failed to notify me that a prescription is ready, but it will definitely be the last. Never using this pharmacy again.
*Edit since I just picked up the prescription: the medicine WASN’T ready, it was a liquid that had to be mixed when it was picked up! I waited over 24 hours for something that they could have just told me to come in when I had time and they would be able to fill the prescription for me!

Not just the pharmacy. The entire store is grubby. Many of the workers, while somewhat helpful, are poorly groomed. Regarding the pharmacy, it takes forever to get prescriptions filled. Even when sent by the Dr and marked "stat." Days pass without a notice of being ready to pick up. When my prescription plan changed a few months ago I had to move from Sam's Club to Smiths. With every prescription I need filled or refilled, I am reminded of the distinct loss of service from my previous provider, Sam's. Oftentimes the pharmacists are unhelpful or engaged in extended personal conversations while customers are lined up. Going to this Smiths for virtually anything is an experience I detest.

They can be slow and unprofessional. Don’t expect them to be very helpful and they never ask for your rewards. Tell them your rewards number to get pharmacy purchase points.

Several bad experiences here. I will be switching pharmacies now. They have answered the phone and hung up on me a couple times, so for important questions I've had to go in person. They will not refill my prescription that I have run out of and needed for the last week or two. They repeatedly tell me I have to call my doctor to approve the refill, which I have done several times and my doctor double checked that the prescription was sent/ready for pick up, but the pharmacy says they can't do anything.Employees aren't usually very friendly to me, and the wait is usually very long.

Made me wait for an hour saying “they would check on my order” I finally asked about my order and they said they didn’t have it and to call my doctor. Under staffed badly trained and very chaotic pharmacy

I put in prescriptions online three days later they still weren't filled this is a problem you shouldn't have to go in and ask them to feel something that you already asked to have filled online so it's best to make a phone call to the staff to have things filled instead of using online service

There’s always a long wait time. People working here are nice, no knock on them. I think they’re just understaffed and always scrambling. You’ll eventually get what you need here, just be prepared to wait a while.

Took an hour to get a prescription because the fax machine was out of ink, then they didn’t get the electronic fax.

The people behind the counter aren't usually very friendly and the card reader won't accept an HSA card most of the time. I've had someone call out LOUD about a year ago what I was there picking up which is a HIPPA violation so, probably train your staff better. Another time, I was denied meds because they were very expensive and the girl said, "I doubt you'll be able to pay for them, so I just didn't order them." So I had to stay sick and in pain longer than I needed to be just so she could finally order the meds.

In person interactions are good, but it is difficult to call them. This time I gave up after 45 minutes. I guess I’ll have to go there to ask to refill and go back again later to pick it up.

The store manager, Jason at Freedom Blvd Smith's totally embarrassed me and my husband. His behaviors and the way he treats customers are so rude and unprofessional. I had a coupon that I was using but they were short, so I asked for a raincheck. The person at the checkout was able to give me a raincheck. I also have another coupon which was in my disabled husband's name who was not with me at the time. Jason said that no matter what the person needed to be there in person to get the raincheck. I rushed home to get my husband and we returned 30 mins later. My husband is non-verbal bec of his illness. When we got to the counter, the same manager, Jason, interrupted and he started asking me, "who is he, why isn't he talking". I didn't want to give all the diseases info since it wasn't relevant, so I replied, "he is my husband and he cannot talk". Well, Jason kept saying that he didn't believe me and he is not comfortable giving the raincheck to me. He also yelled at me that I should go to the Smith's at Orem to get a raincheck. I'm so embarrassed that he did that in front of all the customers during a busy hour, I was even more confused and mad that he was the same person 30 mins ago who told me that I needed the person there with me for the extra raincheck. Also, 3 months prior to this terrible experience, my raincheck fell to the floor while I was trying to show the cashier, Jason stepped onto it as quick as he could so I couldn't pick it up, and he told me, "No, you cannot have it" as he picked it up afterwards and put it in his pocket. Like other reviews, "the most racist people working there" -- Jason, not being a good example, really needs to be FIRED.
