Worst pawn shop in Utah county worst service also went in to see how much I could sell something for and he got mad because I said I wanted to go to a different pawn shop and he calls the other pawn shops and tells them to deny me I WOULD NOT GO TO PROVO PAWN THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND WASTE YOUR TIME.

Poor customer service I bought a subwoofer from him and the coils were burnt so I called to see if he could exchange it for something else and said they don’t do exchanges. I’ll never go there again

Horrible customer service. I pointed a price point on a piece of equipment that was well used, was only $20 less than brand new. And that a part of it was on backwards. All I got in response was. If someone doesn’t ask for your opinion, you probably shouldn’t share it. I get the sentiment, but at the same time, that’s just flat rude behavior. I will not, nor could I support this kind of business.

* Thanks for replying. I am sorry you are so upset about my personal opinion toward an overpriced game that you are selling. To be fair I have pretty even amount of 5 star reviews and 1 star reviews. I like to let businesses know if I really like them or if I dont. You know what tells me alot about you as a person? The way you respond to criticism. I didnt personally attack you I just said the ps2 games were completely overpriced and there are much more reasonably priced places to go. Also, I never said anything about Amazon. Hope your day gets better.Sometimes I like to go in the store just to see what they have. I can’t say I have ever actually bought something from this store, although some things look reasonably priced. However, I have recently gotten into collecting older video game stuff (ps2 games) and I went in and saw they had a couple but was astonished by how much they were charging for some games. $80 for a Metallica guitar hero game? That’s crazy!! I went to the antique mall in Springville and bought Guitar Hero 3 for $14.99 and then there is a retro game store in the Provo mall that I bought guitar hero 80’s rock for $14.99……. Probably won’t ever buy anything here unless I really do my research but $80 is a rip off for that game. Better off going to another store or even eBay for better deals on stuff like that.

I was in a tight spot and needed some money to repair my car. I pawned some stuff here. I couldn't buy it back within the 30 days. I called Reed and asked for another week and he gave me some more time. I was able to buy my stuff back and was super grateful that Reed worked with me on the timeline. Highly recommend his shop!

Edit: Reed (the owner) stalked me on facebook, found my unrelated business, wrote my only negative review, cussed me out via facebook message, threatened me, and told me it would be a shame if I killed myself... all because I wrote an honest negative review.Dishonesty doesn't pay.This guy replies to reviews with made-up situations that *surprise* always make him look like the good guy! I didn't come in to buy a longboard, I've never been long-boarding in my life. He fabricated the situation, knowing I couldn't reply. He could have left the review be, but instead was dishonest and made up a story to save face. So go ahead, reply with something dismissive, come up with some new situation pretending you remember me, and report this, but dishonesty does not pay.Remove the nonsense reply and I'll remove this review.

All I did was ask online if they would take $50 less than listed on a $300 item and the owner called me a p***** Probably would have ended up caving for the asking price if there had been an ounce of common decency but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Meanwhile he rips off desperate folks and makes a profit on stolen merchandise. We all know who is the p**** is Reed. One star ? About what you'd expect.

This is a good pawn shop to work with. Most of the negative reviews on here have nothing to do with Provo Pawn and everything to do with clueless people who don’t know how pawn shops work or how the world works for that matter. I’ve witnessed them having to put up with some very interesting customers and Provo Pawn had way more patience than I would have.Honest pawn shop to work with.

If I could give it a zero I would , Do not go here at all the man who’s there is a racist we went in there trying to sell a counsel and because we didn’t want to anymore due to the price he had offered he called us “ new generation of Mexicans “ insulted us telling us “ get out of here” that we had wasted “ his time “ he’s simply disgusting and never again will we go there definitely don’t recommend

Every time I've gone in, the guy who I assume is the owner has always been really helpful and gone out of his way to help me find anything. Gotten some great deals. Good place to check out.
