Got my oil changed here a while back. While waiting in the lobby, the mechanic went out into the lobby to show me my cabin air filter and offer to replace mine for $30ish. I literally changed my own cabin air filter two weeks prior. I did not appreciate trying to be upsold on unnecessary services when other oil shops just let me sit in peace until the work is finished. They performed the oil change work as I requested, so I can't say that they're less than adequate. I'm just not impressed.

i love oil rig. i’ve been here twice and they have fixed three different issues with my car. with automotive places it seems like often a bunch of fees are added on for no real reason or they try to sell me something i don’t really need. but with oil rig i truly feel like they are honest and care about my best interest instead of trying to scam me out of my money. i would recommend this place to anyone. the manager mike is especially good and i trust him to give an honest price because he actually cares about his customers. he also personally went back to double check if the diagnosis for my car was correct and he obviously knows what he is talking about. highly recommend!!!! i appreciate the honesty and fairness i have experienced as a customer here thus far. i truly never leave reviews but i really feel like oil rig deserves it! thanks mike!!!

Noticed my brakes were grinding and went in urgently to Oil Rig, they took me right in, quickly diagnosed the issue and while doing the repair, Bryson came and showed me exactly what was wrong so I was never out of the loop as to what was happening to my car! Super friendly staff and I’m highly considering making the switch to Oil Rig for all my vehicle related problems!

I have always got my oil change done at Oil Rig Auto in Provo. Employees there take of thier customers. Today, they just made my day with placing a beautiful red flower on dashboard.

This place will be my new go-to for car maintenance. Mike, the manager, is great. He personally looked at my vehicle. He knows his stuff and it's obvious his employees respect him. It's a small place but the vibe is really good.
And, their prices are totally reasonable.

Staff is friendly with each other and with the customers. Went above and beyond: when I asked a question, the tech who had worked on my truck had already gone home. They pulled my truck in the bay and took another look underneath so they could answer honestly and clearly. The crew is professional, efficient, and helpful. Definitely trust these guys a lot.

The fine folks here helped us out in a pinch. Oil light was on and they fixed us up in just a couple of minutes.Competent and helpful. We are passing through Provo on a road trip but would gladly return if we lived in the area. Can't say enough good things about them. Kudos.

Shop didn’t open until 8:15…. Was waiting from 7:50 employees all around boss hasn’t opened the door. Another customer shows up for a brake job good thing I just need a skid plate tied back up. All the employees did so well starting the business which I thought was the owners job…. Anthony did a great job approaching me apologize for the very very late start. As soon as someone open the door he got straight to my Audi. Took about only 10 minutes. Did an amazing job explaining what happened to my skid plate. ALSO… the girls…. Mel and baylie did an Amazing job keeping me company while staying super busy cleaning and getting ready for the day.
Over all I see the store going far. Maybe if the owner can find a better “time management.”
Which I would love to volunteer as tribute!
