If I could leave no stars I would. Like someone else said in another review, the students who work here don’t understand the gravity of what they do. I ran out of refills and the student at the front desk treated the matter so lightly that didn’t even give me directions on what to do next. They spoke so low I couldn’t even understand them and had to ask the same questions over and over again. The pharmacist just directed me to the front desk again and no one could help me find an appointment before the emergency refill ran out. So unprofessional. The guy at the front barely looked at me and acted like he did not care and did not want to be there. Same guy someone before this review described.

I was just diagnosed last week and am working with my doctor to figure out the dose for my medication, when I went in for my first prescription the head pharmacist said what he was giving me was a substitute for my real meds because my real ones were out of stock (it’s a very common medication)
My symptoms didn’t really change with this substitute for my real meds so I went in today to try and see if they were in stock, and the younger guy at the front desk was such a jackass. I went in, explained my situation and he did not smile and muttered as he scanned my bottle. He then looked up and said “well these are a substitute and should work, so what’s your REAL problem?” Looking at me like I was some kind of junkie looking to get high. I sincerely hope that guy isn’t looking for a career in the medical field because holy cow that is terrible bedside manner. Unbelievable treatment of someone who just found out something is wrong with them and is trying to figure out the right dosage. Update: I’ve been 4 times now and they have been out of stock 2/4 times. Very poorly managed

If you are on the BYU Student Health plan, they are inexpensive and close to campus. Plan to spend 45 min waiting to have your meds filled though. Even if you request them days in advance, they will not be ready and you will have to wait. Their suppliers also tend to suck. They've told me repeatedly that their suppliers don't have my medication in stock (and no it's not Adderall but that's not stocked either so good luck there). I have currently been waiting for about 40 minutes for them to fill one medication while many people have passed me despite requesting a fill in advance through their app. The people are nice and helpful but maybe they are short staffed and have been for the past three years? If you have no other option or are poor like me, I guess come here. If you can avoid it and find your time valuable, go somewhere that respects your time.

I had a very disappointing experience with this pharmacy. Dr. Au was extremely rude during our meeting. She initially told me she would refill my prescription for a year, but only did it for three months. When I called for clarification, she was very difficult to understand. It feels like they want to make more money by requiring additional appointments. Additionally, the front desk staff seemed clueless. When I tried to schedule another appointment, they informed me that Dr. Au would be unavailable for a month and there was nothing they could do to help.

They are good at filling prescriptions quickly if you happen to be at the pharmacy. However, I definitely would not recommend them unless you really have no other choice. They are the absolute worst at transferring prescriptions to other pharmacies and they are extremely difficult to get a hold of. Additionally, their hours of operation make it much more difficult to pick up a prescription than most other pharmacies. I have been trying to transfer a prescription for a week now and they still haven't taken care of it. Looking at other reviews, it looks like this has been a consistent problem for them and it doesn't appear they are doing anything to fix it.

If you need a prescription filled internally, they do that very quickly. However, I have been trying to get them to transfer my medication to another pharmacy for over a week and they still haven't done it. Very frustrating. You might be better off using a larger pharmacy with better communication and operating hours

Incredibly hard to get ahold of and once you finally do get ahold of them, they hang up on you without notice or warning. The only reason I’m giving them a star is because of its’ accessibility. Otherwise, the staff are unkind and have terrible phone skills.

They are so hard to get in contact with. I’ve been trying to get a prescription filled for months and there is a nationwide shortage of it which I understand but they told me if I want to know when they have some I have to call and find out. I asked if they could just call me when they have some and they said that I have to call them. So I try to call almost every day and I get an answer a few times per week. If I leave a voicemail I usually don’t get a call back. One time I got a text saying they had some and I went in to pick it up and they said they didn’t have any. I get that it’s hard to get some prescriptions but it should not be this hard to even be able to talk to them and get information.

I usually don't have a problem here, but the other day a staff member was being incredibly nonchalant about a patient's medication and my own. I watched a patron in front of me burst into tears because the girl at the front desk was not being communicative or concerned for her much needed medication. She was this same way when I expressed need for my own. I don't think the students at the desk always understand the gravity of what they do and the impact of care and concern on unnecessarily stressed patrons.

These people are so incompetent. How about your put my student health plan money into hiring competent people to work at your pharmacy. Multiple times I go, giving them heads up that I don’t have 20 min to wait around, and end up waiting. I asked for a summer supply and although they advertised it, they said you couldn’t get more than a 30-day supply with my insurance (which rate they just raised). Was going on a trip, ordered to have a prescription refilled, and the pharmacist “wasn’t going to be in til 9:30”. Here’s an idea, have your pharmacist show up on time. Unbelievable.

I’ve been using this pharmacy since moving to Provo in 2018. They generally are on the slower side, but it usually isn’t super bothersome to me. The app on multiple occasions has not sent in my prescription or the prescription isn’t there when I go to pick it up, so I always try to fill in-person. Today, I arrived to fill a prescription just before 1:30pm. I left after 2:20pm. I specifically asked for the wait time when filling it (I was quoted 15-20 minutes). When they finally called my name after 40 minutes, they only had 1 of the 2 prescriptions I had filled. I let them know, and the pharmacist just gave me a confused face. They asked me for my medication’s names 3 different times. I understand everyone has off days, but today felt wildly ridiculous and unprofessional. No one apologized for the nearly hour-long wait, either. If my insurance wasn’t through the BYU student health plan, I would absolutely fill somewhere else.

This pharmacy is the best one in Provo. Everything I have ever gotten filled here is accurate and the employees are always friendly and kind. They also fill prescriptions fast, which is really nice when you are in a hurry!
