Due to very weak t-mobile sim card, I couldn't reach t-mobile before my minutes expired. When I finally reached them, they instructed me to get a new phone and sim card. In at least 3 calls, they promised to restore my $150 balance, due to my t-mobile sim card having not worked and been unable to contact them.
After replacing my phone and sim card, r-mobile refused to honor their pledge to restore my balance, although they could see in their notes that 3 representatives had promised me that. After hours and calls to t-mobile, they could only say that their previous representatives were wrong, and they refused to honor their agreement.
So, after replacing my phone and getting a new SIM card, as they instructed, t-mobile won't restore my $150 balance.
T-mobile is dishonest and unethical, and a scam. They repeatedly tried to rope me into a much more expensive plan than I have, and won't restore my balance.
Avoid doing any business with t-mobile, unless you want them to scam you down the road. Never believe anything their representatives tell you, because they will later change their mind -- even when what they stated is clearly in their customer notes. You cannot trust anything they say. Lots of other cellular companies would be happy to do business with you instead.
