They towed a guest's car away from my apartment even though the car was registered for a guest pass, then charged us over $300 to get it back less than 12 hours later. Their dispatcher was extremely rude, and we were left waiting at the yard for almost 2 hours before a driver came to help us get the car out. If these guys tow for your apartments, have your guests park on the street because Lone Star will gladly take their vehicles whether or not they're set up for a guest pads.Service: Car towing

Very helpful and informative over the phone and through text. We had an abandoned vehicle left on private property that needed to be removed. They have specific and simple process that needs to be followed in order for the removal of the vehicle. The best part was when I called the number an actual person answered!

Quite possibly the best human beings to repossess or tow your vehicle. Always understanding and flexible. They're the best, at 2am if someone has to violate your personal space to reclaim something. You want it to be These strangers cause you can feel good about the way they violate and go about trespassing.

Got me for an extra 75$ because I was 3 minutes late not to mention the absolutely outrageous price for an HOA violation tow...I guess they will sleep good tonight bending me over and taking almost 450$ from my kids mouths.

It's understandable that people get upset when their vehicles are towed and in many cases this leads them to post a negative review of the towing company. However, as far as actually working with Lone Star Towing, they are super helpful and will go the extra mile to help you get vehicles towed off your property. They are very responsive, honest, and willing to get you all the information you need. I had a lot of questions regarding obtaining a title for a trailer, as well as getting a trailer towed off our lot and Todd went above and beyond to get me the documents and information I needed to proceed successfully. I will definitely use this company again.

They broke several ADA laws in order to make a quick buck, towing disabled persons cars from (especially) properly marked handicap stalls is truly morally reprehensible and legally crooked. If I was this company I would expect lawsuits soon.

This company embodies “predatory towing.” Our HOA brought them on a few years ago and now they are nothing but a huge pain for everyone in the community. Hopefully, we have them removed soon. I DO not recommend using them.

Horrible customer service!!! They monitor my HOA property, towed a car that had a valid parking permit. Wouldn’t apologize for their mistake, we paid to get car back and filed complaint to request reimbursement. receipt showed paid $0, I waited for new email receipt. Filed my complaint. Got pictures where parking permit was displayed and got approval to be reimbursed. I scheduled time to meet at unmanned tow yard for my refund, got there only to find no one around. Called and was told you have to go to other location for refund. Communication was horrible. They never apologized, instead I got email claiming our permit had been hung wrong, and had it been hung properly it wouldn’t have fallen down during the tow. How does that answer for it being towed in the first place? The picture shows permit was displayed! Just apologize for the mistake and communicate better! I shouldn’t have had the run around that I had!!Service: Car towing

Was not happy about being towed. When I aired my concerns about my tow reasons Todd was very respectful and explained why I was towed. Someone had stolen/removed my year decal and when they drove by they were following our complexes rule. No refund was issued but just taking the time to call and hear my concerns was nice. Again, still don’t like being towed but these guys do their business different and treat people with respect. If I’m ever in a lockout situation or need my car to be towed somewhere I will definitely give them a call. Todd was great and thank you for reaching out to me!

This company has towed my car more than once, and I have accepted that when I know I was in the wrong. I live near the axis apartments and have always parked at the church. The people that I talked to at the towing company have always informed me that they just tow after 1am. But tonight I was just informed that they really can tow whenever they want, which leaves many college students in a rut. You should not have a towing time on a sign and not abide by the time. And if you want to inform college students that the new rule to getting towed has changed, that should also be known upfront as well. And also, the man that I talked to tonight said that they can tow at whatever time, but interesting enough they never tow during the day. So, the rules need to be made clear and the signs on the church parking lot need to be changed to no parking at all. And the time needs to be removed so that students are not being bamboozled out of hundred of dollars.

Excellent and quick service! These guys are awesome!I live in Vineyard and parking is really scarce every day. I recently bought a 1984 F-150 that doesn't run and it was just taking up a parking spot, so I was worried it was going to get towed away; not by my own accord. I got in touch with Alvin and he was very personable and a pleasure to work with. He was timely on showing up (was even a few minutes early) and quick about getting it dropped off, even on a tricky narrow driveway. Had to have it towed all the way out the Eagle Mountain. Minus the drive time, the whole thing took probably 10 minutes, loading up, dropping off, and payment.Next time I need a tow, I'm definitely going to these guys. The service was fast, friendly, and much appreciated! Thank you!Service: Car towing

BULLIES! Unfortunately, Utah law has created legal bullies. They are careful to stick to the law when taking someone's car away. They may be legal, but what they do isn't right. They are also VULTURES. They tow as soon as they can and then charge almost $400 before they'll release the car an hour later. The law allows them to charge ridiculous amounts like a $30 "fuel surcharge" that is 18% of the ridiculous tow fee - regardless of how far they tow the vehicle. This place is 1/3 mile from where they tow cars relentlessly. Not even $1 worth of gas, but Utah lets them charge that huge fee... and an admin fee... and the tow fee... and the daily fee even when it hasn't been even close to a day. They are raking it in and laughing all the way to the bank.If you've ever wondered where school bullies that flunked their classes end up? They become tow truck drivers for companies like this.Service: Car towing

i'm going to sue this company, they illegally towed my car from a parking lot where there are no warning signs for wrong public parking, also these guys are constantly demanding cash to return the car, cash in order not to pay taxes ? also they will not return the car to you if you do not sign a document stating that the towing fee is not refundable, I will find out all this in court, all the photos of the wrong parking without any warnings were recorded. They have only one blue sign with warning “ AUTHORIZED PARKING ONLY” ok that make sense and and i'm aitorized with permission to visit the building, but what about sign with warning of wrong parking? NOTHING! I also asked the manager to show a warning sign for incorrect parking and tow warning, but he replied that he was not going to show me anything. Ok, we'll take it to court.
