Excellent prices and so much selection. Sometimes you do need to try on a lot of things, especially when shopping for items like pants or swimsuits. It's great to have a department store with choices for those instances. They carry a wide selection of high-quality brands in various price ranges. Most of the changing rooms were closed, but the one that was open had plenty of stalls and was centrally located. The cashier was so great and helped me understand the deals so I could pick what would work best in my budget. She was also able to understand how to help a couple who did not speak English to easily and quickly make a return. I was very impressed at how well she knew how to do her job and take care of customers.

I don't know about JCPenney I thought it was a girl store or something in Nordstrom was something for men are missionaries and suits and stuff but I think JCPenney's is a great store as long as they've been in business they make a lot of money I guess they're doing just fine there thank you Jeff Crawford

I was at JC penny at the Provo Mall the other day. As I was looking for a dress for my daughter I noticed a man with brown skin, medium build, probably 6ft, and a beard following me around. I thought I was just being paranoid and tried to ignore the weird feeling I got. I went into the dressing room with my daughter to have her try on the dress and as I was closing the dressing room door I saw the man come into the LITTLE GIRLS dressing room. At this point I began to panic, we were the only ones in there. I sat there trying to figure out what to do. I decided to just leave everything I picked out and leave the store. So I left the dressing room and saw him standing there in the dressing room. I left quickly and as I was exiting the store the man stopped me and told me he was with Loss Prevention and told me to give him my purse. I told him no (my ID is in there and I did NOT want this man to know my name or address.) I got the worst sick feeling from him. I opened my bag and let him see in, that there was nothing but he insisted on looking himself. I refused and he said he would be contacting the police. Literally go ahead I did not do anything wrong. He followed me to my car and took a photo of my license plate. I was SO terrified the whole time. Wanted to let everyone know about this creepy man. Be safe. And JC Penny, maybe don’t have your grown men employees lurking around the little girls dressing room it’s creepy. I will not be back and will tell everyone I know.

Just went to the provo store with my 2 girls. While there I noticed a lady walking around staring at me acting suspicious. I then started to watch her. She kept hiding behind pillars texting and talking on her phone then peeking around the corner at us. Multiple times she would walk along the isles and follow us. I then hurried with my items and went to the register. While there she went and hid behold another pillar close to the checkout counter. I mentioned I was being followed and someone was making me feel very uncomfortable and staring me down and following me. The cashier said " oh yeah its a security lady. She scares alot of people." In my opinion if that's how uncomfortable and their security guards make customers feel. I want no part of going there again. I dont feel like they are doing their job if they are making customers feel unsafe. I wanted to leave so fast. Me and my girls were all scared of how she was acting.
Will probably not be going back in the store. Very disappointing. She also walked to the doors as I was walking out. We definitely wanted to get out of there. Just beware. Their so called security guards make you feel like your being followed and watched, and make you feel so unsafe.
