Jerri, the woman, the myth, the legend. Give this woman a promotion! My experience at hertz was struggling when I picked up a rental in Las Vegas, it was not the agreed-upon car and had very little space. It was a Chevy bolt, with 170 miles per charge. We were picking up the rental because my wife’s grandfather had passed away, and we were driving from Las Vegas to Orem Utah. The car was supposed to be non-smoking, however, upon picking up the car, I was confused as to what smelled, the car, or the man taking pictures, and handing me the keys. Unfortunately, it was the car and my daughter, who has asthma, was coughing the entire way up. Also, having such little distance radius, caused us to have to stop four times, and it took nine hours to get somewhere. That should only take six hours. We missed the viewing. I called hertz at the provo airport and Jerri was more than understanding, assured me this could be fixed and in less than 20 minutes I was driving away in a Tesla model 3 which was the original car we were supposed to acquire. Needless to say, Jerri saved the day. Thanks Jerri, you’re the best. ??

Our flight arrives a little later than their closing time and got delayed for another15mins at gate. The lady waited and had documentation and everything ready. Very nice and enjoyable experience. Recommend.

I’ve been renting from here for the past 5 months every two weeks and they have exceeded my expectations each time. Matt was usually the person helping me out and he knows how to take care of his customers! I’ve been to Hertz locations all over the country, both big and small airports, and this location is great.

We wanted to make sure Jerri was recognized for her wonderful customer service she gave us. Our flight was delayed and she called us personally to tell us she would stay after hours and after her shift ended to make sure we were able to get our rental car. She stayed 90 extra minutes! That is what I call amazing service!! We don’t know what we would have done without her.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! They gave me a car that had mud all over the mats, my shoes stuck to a piece of gum on the mat too. It was only 3/4 filled with gas. And the usb CarPlay was broken and I couldn’t play music while charging my phone. I called and complained and was told I could come back and exchange the car. But that drive would have been an hour round trip for me. Was hoping I would be compensated for my troubles but he didn’t seem to want to help and he is the manager (yikes). And to top it all off when I brought it back I was charged almost $100 dialed in additional fees. I will NEVER use Hertz again.

Mike cannot manage the inventory or effectively train the employees . I made numerous calls prior to our trip to make sure the vehicle we reserved would be there. Every time I called they had no idea about my reservation and consequently could not verify the reservation or the vehicle. It took 3 hours to get a vehicle that I reserved weeks before. They are more than glad to charge you for not bringing the vehicle up to a certain charge, even though they don’t tell you where to charge in Utah county. Mike honestly has no business being there.

They will give your car away and then look at you and tell you to figure it out in the middle of the night. The division should really analyze having Duke and Cesar work there. They were very hard to work with and simply don’t reply to emails to help with resolution. We have a few more trips here and have rerouted to budget and enterprise for our large rentals. We can’t justify risking the unreliable service and the lack of communication

Flew into Provo with my 72 year old grandmother and rented a car from HERTZ Months prior to our arrival for pickup and 6:30pm.Knowing that is after HERTZ has closed, both my grandmother and I called several times, she spoke with Mike and I spoke with Cesar who advised me to contact Duke the district manager. I was reassured by Duke that they don’t close the desk until 7pm and someone would be there for us to get our car. He also said they have made some adjustments to accommodate the later incoming flights. We tried calling before our fight left but none of our calls were answered. Well needless to say, once we arrived there was no one there. We tried calling and left messages with no response. Thank goodness for Lyft and Turo! After this experience we will never use HERTZ again.

Reserved a tesla and prepaid for 8 days. Our flight was delayed a few hours so I called hertz because I knew they would be closed by the time our flight landed. I couldn't get through to anyone on the phone in provo, so I finally found an 800 number and spoke to someone who could hardly speak english. He told me to pick up the car the next day, that was all they could do. when our flight finally landed we called an uber to drive us to our destination late at night, costing us $100. So the next morning we get a ride from a friend to pick up our rental car (1 day late) from hertz. It was not a tesla , and they weren't able to give us a refund for that day we didn't have the car. They told us there's nothing they can do once we prepay. So we paid for 8 days for a tesla, but got 7 days with a not-so-great tiny sedan. Plus the hassle of an expensive uber late at night with our kids and relying on friends.What is the point of making a reservation???

The Provo airport is small so even if you are Gold/Five Star/President's Circle, you still have to go to the counter to pick up your car. But that's okay because you get to interact with Candelario. He is super friendly and very helpful. Normally I dislike having to stop at the counter. In Provo it is a pleasant experience.

We love the new Provo Terminal and the rental car service. Hertz was great. Pleasant staff and a free upgrade that I wasn't expecting. I will use Hertz in the future.

Priceline shows my reservation active. Hertz says its cancelled and they have no more cars and can't do anything for me and can't explain why it was cancelled on Hertz end. I've been a Hertz Gold Plus member for nearly 20 years. Provo Hertz is more like Hertz Coal than Hertz Gold.

So I had major issues with the Orem location. Couldn't get help from the chat or online from Hertz either. The company itself is a dumpster fire. But Candelario was a life saver!!! He went over and above to help me. He listened and understood my situation, I was there before they opened and he still helped me. He was very sympathetic and understanding and did everything it could to address my issue. This is some of the best customer service I've seen in a very long time! You need to hold on to this young man and use him to train your other managers and locations. Unfortunately, I'll never be a Hertz customer again, but we need to take care of this individual. No reason I gave it a five stars because of Candelario, The company I give zero stars.
