I so appreciate working with the BYU cell phone office for our personal cellphone lines. It seemed like any time I had to call our previous carrier about our service before I would be on the phone for at least an hour until the problem was resolved. The BYU office always takes care of things so quickly!!! In addition to the amazing customer service, our phone bill is half of what it used to be!

Just switched from Verizon to byus alumni unlimited plan (for $18.75/ month). It was a seamless process. My only tips are to get a sim card from the byu office before starting. But a lot of newer phones are starting to have esims.

I got remote help today. I live on the aast coast and needed to rapidly switch my service over or I'd be committed to another 3 month plan at least with Mint. I used to be a very happy Mint Mobile user and would have stayed, but $18 is too good to pass up.
I called the BYU cell phone office and they told me how to start the process. When I got stuck due to some quirks with my phone they had a backup plan to help me get everything sorted. Aubrey was especially helpful. Now I have blazing fast speeds at a superb monthly rate with no subscription or commitment. Unlimited call, text and 5G data and several GB of hotspot. If you're a BYU alumnus, have family who is, or work for them, stop getting robbed and start getting awesome service for a crazy low price.

Terrible experience trying to get my personal phone number back out of their system. I would highly recommend buying your own cell plan and not using the cell office even if your department has offered to pay for it. Jesus would not run an office with such poor service.

This is NOT the Office it used to be. No answered calls and you can’t walk in. What’s the point? I’ve been trying to get a phone activated for 5 days now with NO luck. They only converse through Email now and that is slower then the US Mail. Something needs to be done about this no contact, no communication problem. It is unacceptable when our phones are so important to have in this day and age. PLEASE GET WITH IT CELL PHONE OFFICE. AND HELP YOUR CUSTOMERS IN A TIMELY MANNER.

My phone shattered and I had a a back up but it was a Sunday so they didn’t have anyone at all and the people at the cellphone couldn’t do it cause they have restrictions where only they can and then it took all day to get a hold of them the Monday after and couldn’t even help and I had to pay a bunch of money that I shouldn’t have needed to

They do not answer their phone but its not really a place you call for customer service just discounted phone lines. It's run by BYU students so set the bar for expectations low.

It’s ironic that they are a cellphone office yet they never answer their phone. Trying to activate my new phone and the online way wasn’t working. We have called at least 20 times today and no one answers.
