This location provided terrible service during a recent rental. I contacted customer service, who directed me to the Ogden location, and Ms. Cragen in Ogden was terrific!! 5 stars for her. 2 stars for the rep in Provo, and corp customer service was only 2 stars as well.

Horrible place to rent. You get trapped by the cheapness of it but they can't even keep track of their own cars and come up with phantom charges that nobody ever informed us about. Never renting here again and I suggest you dont either. Getting a hold of customer service is horrible. The only hilight of the experience is that the lady that helped us was nice even though she never told us of any fees for traveling state to state. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

AVOID BUDGET--RENT FROM ENTERPRISE ON UNIVERSITY. I made the mistake of ignoring the poor reviews and rented from Budget anyways. Won't be doing that again. Non-existent customer service. 50% more than an off-site car rental. Poor (short) office hours. When I dropped off my car (nobody was there, even though it was about 9:00 in the morning), it had a full tank of gas. I know this because I filled it up myself about 3 miles away--one of the closest gas stations to the airport. I later noticed a charge for $5.85 on my credit card, and since I pre-paid the only thing I can think of was I got billed for gas. I called them, and was unable to speak to anybody at the airport location--I kept reaching the national customer service line. The previous time I flew into Provo, I took an Uber to Enterprise Car Rental on University Ave. and the team over there was great, and it cost about 50% less. If you don't mind taking an Uber over there, I'd strongly recommend it. That's what I'm doing next time.

Arrived at 9pm Friday night with a reservation. Hours listed on the website said they were open until midnight. There was no one at thebrental desk and after 45 minutes of waiting and trying to get a hold of someone who could help me on the phone, I finally rented from the Hertz counter instead. At first they were still going to charge me for the rental because they considered it a "late cancellation" but after being transferred three times finally someone gave me my money back. Do not rent from them.

Probably the worst rental experience ever. The guy that helped my sister hard absolutely no personality. We had to change the rental to my name because my sister didn't have a CC just her debit card. Plus I'm still awaiting my deposit to be returned. Plus the car was dirty af.... Never rent from this place.

Honestly, the worst car rental experience ever! Waited 45 minutes because no one was at the counter. Then they had no car for me. I was told just because I made a reservation it didn't guarantee me a vehicle. The manager won't say "I'm sorry' or "let me try to solve this problem", but he will tell you that it's all your fault and will keep yelling at you as you walk away from him!There are other car rental agencies in Provo and Orem.

Staff was super helpful and gave amazing service. Would recommend this Budget to anyone that needs a rental car when coming into the Provo airport. I can’t say enough how helpful they were!

Thee absolute worst place ever. The customer service did not exist. They are contract breakers. Thieves. Liars. Lazy as all out doors. Would not recommend this place to my enemy. Outrageous efforts to scam us into paying for damages that were already there. Disgusted with this place. Go anywhere but here.

I've been spoiled for so many years by amazing servoice at National rent a car so going to this Budget I probably should have reset expectations. It's a good location - in-airport desk and the cars are just outside, so that part was great. But unfortuntately it was a little frustrating dealing with the checkout process. I had booked a four-door truck but despite the reservation a week in advance they didn't have one. It happens, but I thought the clerk might upgrade me to something nicer for the inconvenience, but this is a small location, they didn't have anything nicer. I made the reservation through Priceline, Budget allows bookings through Costco and Priceline but then doesn't accept the insurance you buy through these other platforms. I guess that's an issue I need to resolve with Priceline, but it's an inconvenience, and when I went to use Budget's insurance options it turns out they're almost equal to the daily car rate. The agent required me to put down a $575 deposit before he could tell me what the final bill would be. Isn't that backwards I asked, normally I pay when I know the total bill first! Anyways, the situation could have been eased by just some improved customer service and clear answers. Hopefully no surprises when I return the car. Note, the car was dirty and covered with dead bugs, maybe that's just how they do it here, it is an open air parking lot. I just want to encourage National to open a location here so I don't have to use Budget again!

I beg you guys not to book with budget definitely not online! They scammed me out my money an I’m negative now cus they made me pay twice for my rental never got my money back I waited 3-5 business days MULTIPLE TIMES! after they said I was getting a refund also I never received my deposit back so please don’t book with them there’s others drive companies in the airport. Budget you should be ashamed. Also they lied to my bank when I filed a dispute.

I made an online reservation, and entered a BCD code from my employer which already includes LDW coverage for my rental. I went to Provo airport to pick my car and the Budget representatives said that LDW is not added in my reservation. Then I called the customer service and the agent said that she's gonna check the issue and call me back to tell me what's going on. Guess what! She never called me back.After that, I called the customer service 10-15 times, they never picked my call. I also sent a recorded message thrice, but got no call back.This is the worst rental car experience I have ever had, and I'm never gonna use it again.

We arrived after close and they unlocked the doors to get us a car. This site is open Saturday when the airport is not. Thanks for getting our trip started off right.

Pro tip: just call and confirm your arrival time the day or two before, airport is very very small. Had a good experience, rented a 2022 4Runner, zero issues, great time out there.

Trevor got me driving within minutes when I checked in (under short notice) and got me checked out even quicker when I returned the vehicle a week later. He answered all my questions and took care of business with no issues, as you would expect from a professional. Excellent customer service, and I would recommend renting from this location.*Trevor and I are not related. I met him the day I rented the car. ?

This is a review of Budget. I am arriving on Breeze at 5:30 pm. I can't rent a car because website says Budget closes at 5pm! I called the local Provo number from the website, but got transferred to Budget general reservations. The woman told me they have no facility at Provo at all!!
