We came to the Riverwoods to view the lights and decided to walk into this store with our toddler to stay warm because it was so cold. We were just walking around, and the owner of the store was so kind and warm to us! There was a baby doll that our toddler became so attached to, and is still obsessing over tonight. We will never forget the kindness the owner of the store showed to our family, specifically our toddler. Love the products here and more importantly the service!

Overpriced underwhelming toy store… I am sorry but I don’t buy the lame excuse of covid was hard. How does it make sense to spend thousands of dollars on a remodel if you are struggling financially?? Based off of the reviews read people prefer the old atmosphere.

Really fun store and helpful staff, but the prices of the candy were not marked. I would have to take them one by one to the register to get a price check. It made shopping and selecting difficult. The candy was unique, but expensive.

Such a fun store. Well designed and a great atmosphere. Exciting for both adults and kids. I saw many candies I'd forgotten about. It is kind of pricey. But I'll pay a little extra now and then for a local experience. Thanks!

I agree with what at least one other reviewer has said about this place that it lost some of its charm after the remodel, but I still love visiting here. I can always find that unique gift for any occasion. They have stuff here you can't find anywhere else: grass soda, bacon bandages, Bandito Card game, and many other curios. Of course, I'll be back, but whenever I walk in, I miss the old spacious Blickenstaff's with its nooks and crannies. Bring back the Jelly Belly wall!

I used to love Blickenstaff’s. I’ve been coming here as a little kid since I’ve grown up in Provo. This time was a little different atmosphere and bad customer service (I wouldn’t call it service, as I didn’t even get looked at when speaking to the store cashier.)I walk in to this beautiful store with my 4 kids and the two cashiers were busy on their iPad registers, thought it was weird that they didn’t even acknowledge me, but it is what it is.I’m walking around the store doing some last minute Christmas shopping, and I can’t find what I’m looking for. I walk up to the desk, waiting for one of them to talk to me and ask what I needed, but nothing.So I say hi and the cashier rudely says “how can I help you” I say I was wondering if they had Jack-in-the-boxes and without looking at me she goes “no, we’re out, sorry”So I say thanks and keep shopping.Not 30 seconds later, I turn around and there they were. There was no effort made and it’s just not a great environment anymore. Kind of bummed out.

The cutest toys in this store and i would love to spend time and money here but it smells oppressively like barbecue in the store, i assume it’s coming from the barbecue place a couple doors down, but it’s very strong in the store, like it hurts my nose and i can’t stay long, but if you want cute toys this is a good place (if you can handle the smell)

It’s not nearly as charming as it was before the remodel. It used to be wooden and old-timey with many shelves of interesting items. Now it seems to have a much smaller stock and is a more modern/open concept, which is kind of a shame. That’s just my personal opinion- maybe people prefer that- but I consider it a bit of a loss. Maybe it helps with the craziness of customers to have it be more open?

Not only does this charming toy store have the best rang and selection among their unique toys and games it has an incredible staff. I was so impressed and touched by the kindness and thoughtfulness their employee Bentley showed me and my family. She knew first hand what she loved and recommend as well as what she noticed toya that's seemed to be favorite among my childrens age groups. She walked us to each item and even played with my children. The level of patience was astounding and you could tell she loves her job. hope Her boss sees this! Totally recommend:)

Oh my goodness okay so I found the CUTEST little toys here for gifts. I brought my daughter here and she also loved it and while we were here we also found a card game for my husband. Such a fun local place, I totally recommend coming here if you want to get some unique gifts

Ordered online from Blickenstaffs.com (wish I could visit this store in person bc it sounds fantastic). They had a nice selection of in-stock items. It was well packed, shipped very quickly and the items were perfect. The only thing is one item color requested was out of stock so it's great they quickly refunded me the cost but I would have preferred a chance to submit for a substitute color bc now I'm short one item for the kids - but I do appreciate their communications and the desire to send my package out lickety-split :) Overall, I would recommend and buy from them again. Thanks!Update 01/26/22: Wow, Blickenstaff’s Toy Store is quite a conscientious place of business who will try their best to make sure their customer’s shopping experience and satisfaction is a pleasant one. Besides stating they will implement my suggestion they even went so far as to fulfill my original out of stock item (plus some) just recently. The kids were beyond thrilled.
