This is the last place I would ever recommend to ANYONE! It's dark and dingy both inside and out and not in the best part of town! Unfortunately I found myself in the situation that I needed a place to stay for the night and I ended up at the Baymont around 11:30pm. I was exhausted and I was without my own vehicle due to mechanical issues with 5 heavy bags and my Yorkie who is a certified service dog. I had previously booked a room at a nearby hotel and when I arrived and went to check in the clerk was ignorant and really gave me a hard time. After he tried to charge me for my service dog and then proceeded to question me about him, which is illegal, I produced his certificate showing that he was indeed a registered service animal! He then asked for my card to pay and I produced the same card I booked the room with and he tells me they don't accept that particular card and listed several others. So I handed him the card I receive my SSDI on and he refused it also! Completely floored by the way this man was treating me, a disabled older woman who just wants a room to rest, I gathered my things and as I walked away in utter disgust he yells "we do take cash!" I told him he wasn't getting one red cent from me and I got into the vehicle that had brought me there as we pulled away we see the man and another guy chasing us from the parking lot into the street yelling and cussing at us! The guy driving hears what they're saying about us & stops and gets out and they are all 3 going at it! He gets back in the truck and I said can you PLEASE just take me over to the Baymont? We arrived, I got a room and all checked in but after about 30 minutes at the most there's a knock on the door and the police are there wanting to know what happened at the 1st hotel. So I told him everything I knew and then he says "Oh! By the way the hotel wants you off the property immediately!!! I asked him why and said I didn't do anything wrong! I have no cehicle, I'm disabled with all these heavy bags and my little dog! What am I supposed to do? It's almost 1:00am by this time and the man that just checked me in now says I have to go? Why? I didn't do anything wrong! I was only a passenger! Then to top it off when I called the next morning and asked for a manager the person who I believe is the same guy from the night before says he is the manager. I tell him that I want a refund for the $79.33 they charged my card for then had me thrown out. He said "that's NOT happening!" And as I started to try to explain what had happened before I got a word all the way out he HUNG UP ON ME! I am going to contact my attorney and I will be filing theft charges against this horrible person! As I said I would advise you to go elsewhere if at all possible! Not to mention the ice machines were broken and both of the vending machines were completely empty! Terrible place! Worse employees and crappy rooms!

I am a disabled woman who arrived very late just last night desperately needing a room for the night. I had made a reservation at another hotel not far from the Baymont by Provo River and after arriving there was treated very rudely, and then when they refused to take payment with the same card used to reserve the room or any other card I had I left the property only to be chased out of the parking lot by this man and another guy! The person driving me(my car had broke down causing the need for the room to begin with) suddenly stopped and got out and there was an altercation with the hotel employees and the person who was kind enough to give me a ride! When my driver got back into the car I asked for him to just take me to The Baymont because it was close by. I got a room at the Baymont and after about 20 minutes there was a knock on the door and I opened it to 2 police officers who wanted to ask me a few questions about the incident I had just witnessed. I answered all of the questions I could and when they were done they said "Oh! And the hotel wants you off the property immediately!" Now I could understand if I had done something wrong but I was only a passenger! By this time it is around one in the morning, I have no vehicle to leave in and remember that I am disabled and have several heavy bags and my service dog! I was devastated and tired and by now in pain and just wanted to go to bed! When I called the next day and requested they refund the almost $80 the man at the desk told me that they would NOT be refunding my money and when I started to try to explain what had actually happened he hung up on me! I have never in my life been treated so poorly from a business establishment! It was utterly appalling!!! I don't have to tell you that in my experience I would stay as far away from this place as you can! It's not an ethically or morally ran business, and I won't even get started on the disrepair and dinginess of the rooms! Save your money and go elsewhere! I'm disgusted by The Baymont by Wyndham in Provo!

The hotel is conveniently located in north Provo. It was clean and neat. The decor in the lobby and rooms is a bit dated and in need of some TLC and updating. There is no elevator. As a 70+ year old woman I found it difficult to lug my 50# bag up and down the stairs. If I had known this I would have asked for a room on the ground floor. The staff was pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was disappointing. Nothing but carbs! Cereal, toast, muffins, bagels, pancakes and waffles. Oh well, KETO isn't for everyone! But, all that said, I will stay at this hotel again if I am in the are.

We had a handicapped room as it was cheaper. It had everything we needed. Easy to check in, get around, and ok breakfast.

Our room was not serviced once during the week long stay even though I went to the front desk multiple times asking them to service the room and had to ask for toilet paper and towels. They charged a 100 dollar deposit and said that it would be refunded but when i called to inquire about the refund they said that we damaged towels, sheets and a light in the hot tub and would not be refunded. We did not damage anything and trying to contact a manager was not possible due to they are not on site as per front desk. Breakfast was closed early each day, the bath tub had a weird paint all over it that peeled off during the stay and the room smelled like cigarettes from people that smoked outside of the air conditioner. The room was dark and dirty and the service was terrible. There was not a friendly person in this hotel AND THEY DO NOT HAVE A BUSINESS CENTER LIKE THEIR PICTURES STATE!

Baymont is one of my favorite hotels to stay in and this one by far was the worst. When you first walk in your room, you smell pee, the xarpet was not clean. The windows do not lock correctly and there is a dark walkway behind the hotel. This place is outdated but in a good location. Fortunately the desk clerk did refund my money after I requested to leave 15 minutes later.

After reading some of the other reviews I was scared to book a room here... I'm glad I did! Our room was a little dated but clean and the pool was very nice. Breakfast was good other than I needed sweetener and they didn't offer it. The only thing I really disliked was that there wasn't a coffee maker in the room. The location was great and the neighborhood adorable. Would stay here again without hesitation prepared with my own coffee.Rooms: Dated but clean, no in room coffee maker.

We stayed here some years back...what happened!?!? What a dump. Awful beds that were hard and springy, dirty room with everything looking chipped and aged. The carpet was dirty and torn. Just a worn and sad hotel. Unfortunately, it appears that there is just no pride of ownership anymore.

I paid over $90.00 for a room, went to have breakfast in the morning looking forward to some eggs, maybe even some sausage no such luck on either. you would think for the price of $90 a room you might have a decent breakfast but no such luck. Also after reading all the reviews you would think they would do something about it clean the rooms, a little remodeling wouldn't hurt. Definitely does not deserve 3.3 Stars more like 1.3.

Shower curtain rod was almost fully detached from the wall. It was just hanging there. Couldn't close the shower curtain and water got on the floor. Seems to be in the middle of a renovation, but still offering dilapidated rooms.
