Dirty floors. Mold above shower. Shower pressure decreased for hot water. Breakfast was lacking any protein. Should not be a 2.5 star hotel. The pool and hot tub were decent.

Easy walk to LES for the BYU football game. Check in was quick, the room was sufficient and clean. Bathroom and heater did their jobs. Check out was quick. The only drawback was the free continental breakfast, it lacked protein and variety. Breakfast was sub-par.

The DIRTIEST hotel in the world in all senses. I arrived alone by driving from LA long way to Salt Lake City at 18:30, dark already. I reserved and paid the room from Expedia beforehand. No receptionist in lobby. I waited long time and calling anybody here, no answer. I heard a woman voice in restroom with laugh. I went close to the door hearing a Spanish speaking woman chatting happily inside. I speak Spanish too. So I am clearly knowing what she was chatting and I noticed she is the front desk. I knock once on the door she didn’t answer keeping on chatting. I waited. Till 15 minutes passed I knocked again. She came out annoying telling me I was rude interrupting her and refused my checking in l,ignoring my presence. I called 911 by unsure of my security and videoed her. The same time she called her manager by phone saying she was interrupted by me as she was cleaning restroom. And she gave out another reason is on phone she was on phone for a guest requirements. It sounded like an innocent Cinderella fair story if I didn’t recorded what she said and if I didn’t know Spanish as she supposed from my Asian face. I knew it is not worthy to waste any time here and booked another hotel immediately. As I was close the parking lot. An Indian guy asked me what happened. I thought he might be a guest as well telling him the thing. He told me he’s the manager. I then asked when I can get my refund. He told me I would never get my refund. I filmed him even he tried to escape him face in the video I got it.I go through the reviews after that happened. That’s why some guests mention service get worst in these years and an one already mentioned it is not a qualified putting on a third party platform. I didn’t read. I had those two ugly faces videos and offered all to the relevant department and put them on social media. Congrats.

Stayed Wednesday November 1st, 2023. Good communication with desk clerk/owner. Explained where our room was located, offered information on the complimentary breakfast from 6-9am. We enjoyed a quiet & clean room with comfortable king bed. The bath shower had plenty of hot water & good pressure. The hot coffee was excellent, waffles, bagels blueberry mini-muffins, cereal, toast fruit & oatmeal. A great all around experience. Thank you!Safety: Not one gunshot. Definitely in a safe neighborhood.

Very run-down hotel. Had to go to multiple rooms with issues in each, including window that had no lock. Would not stay here ever again. Not a three-star experience at all.

The place should be leveled. It’s absolutely filthy and falling apart. The breakfast was a joke, there was lukewarm water in the shower at best, broken furniture, stains everywhere, torn curtains, the list goes on. It should be condemned and destroyed, truly. I regret booking it and will never stay at a Baymont anywhere ever again.

My child choked, literally choked on candy left behind the bed, I stepped on a staple getting to her, grabbed the phone while performing hiemlich the phone didn’t work! The rooms are dirty, dusty, bugs built up in light fixtures, tile broken in the showers. My reservation wasn’t there, I wasn’t given my loyal discount. After reporting the choking incident due to mess left behind by housekeeping, I was told sorry I’ll let the manager know to talk to housekeeping, that staff didn’t even pass on that info, my husband told morning staff and was told we would be contacted and have yet to hear back! I will never stay there again! Find somewhere else to stay, there are cheaper rooms with better service!Walkability: Only thing it is in a convenient area.

Expedia needs to be more selective as to whom they allow to advertise on their site. The smell! My God in Heaven! The smell made it difficult to breathe. I was afraid to take a shower. There was other people's hair in the shower and sink. Did I mention the smell? Just get it together hotel owner. You are in a great location with tons of eateries nearby. This hotel definitely brings the actual surrounding beauty down a level or two.Noteworthy details: Great location with respect to BYU. No other redeeming qualities.

I didn't feel that comfortable in the main sections of the lobby and walkways ,Although the rooms felt secure and comforting, I always heard noises every 8-10 minutes, the Service wasn't always active so I couldn't find my hotel room easily without getting uncomfortable every couple of minutes. I was thankful that I was only staying here for a day, and not a week. The only way I would stay here is if I was forced to.Rooms: The rooms felt private and safe, and I slept well and felt well energized in the morningFood & drinks: The hotel's complimentary breakfast wasn't satisfying, and I couldn't get any breakfast because I have Enochlophobia,The Hotel's Breakfast area was crowded, so I felt uncomfortable, and another reason why I don't like their breakfast is because they kept running out of food due to these crowds.

Hotel is in a fairly good location, but it looks old and run down. The decor is outdated and the furniture appears to be second hand. Overall, rooms smell old and lack the cleanliness of a 3 star hotel. It seems as if management is keeping operating costs down, and as a result, the hotel simply looks unappealing. There’s very little attention to detail, don’t expect the sink’s backsplash, room corners, or baseboards to be clean.Rooms: Rooms lack cleanliness, decor is outdated and furniture appears to be second hand. I have stayed here over the years due to the location but have noticed a decline in cleanliness and upkeep of the place. It is adequate but could definitely use better in both areas. The breakfast is also barely adequate and I do not eat there anymore as it has gotten very sparse options.

It’s old and filthy. Just clean it!We stayed for a week waiting on dorms to be available. Not once did housekeeping empty the trash or tidy the rooms. They stopped by with a roll of TP every other day. We asked for fresh sheets halfway through the stay, pretty sure they just turned them inside out to give the appearance of changing them.I can confirm what others are saying: the place has bugs, boogers on the walls, and other peoples hair in the sink and shower. It needs a deep clean from top to bottom. I can live with old furniture as long as the bed is comfortable, which it actually was.The free breakfast was all carbs: cereal, bagels, waffles - but it’s hard to mess those up and it was available. The location is nice and the staff friendly.A deep cleaning wouldn’t cost much and would do wonders for this place.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Filthy!!! SO filthy and seems very unsafe-trash all over the property. Immediate neighbor seems deserted...not safe . Does not deserve any stars...DO NOT STAY HERE. WYNDHAM, i would reconsider the ownership of this property or just shut it down & demolish it and start over

What on earth has happened to this place?? 5 years ago this hotel was a lovely gem by the river, close to the University. Now it smells horribly, needs paint badly, grass is dead, rooms are filthy, carpets are threadbare. We walked in our room, flipped the covers back to find GROSS staining on the sheets (see pictures). And the room smelled horribly. We literally walked back out and left without setting down anything. After a long day driving we were disgusted. The one shining star was the gentleman at the desk was kind. That's it.

We have stayed at the Baymont before about 4 years ago. We really liked it then it was a little bit worn but really rather clean and we enjoyed it. This time we noticed the property has become quite run down. The tub in our bathroom was chipped and stained and really needed to be resurfaced. There were handprint stains on the wall and the door. There was a plastic fork in a window sill when we arrived and it was there when we left. There are some pluses to this property. The beds were quite comfortable, it's in a cute location, and the Provo River runs behind it. I hope that some improvements can be made on sanitation and restoring me interior of some of the rooms. Also that pool really needs to be whipped into shape.Rooms: Need work, especially the bathroomsNearby activities: Provo canyon nearbyNoteworthy details: The hotel is nestled into a cute little area with cottage style businesses
