I have literally nothing but good things to say about this place. I would absolutely recommend Napa auto care to anyone and everyone I know, for many reasons.
1. Communication 100 stars out of 5
Over the last 5-6 years I’ve had work done at 6 different shops including two dealership service departments. Napa was far more communicative than any of them. I never once had to wait on hold or play phone tag to get in touch with someone. I’ve had probably 20 different phone calls with them over the last few months between issues with my two cars. They have always kept me well updated on progress, costs, and service recommendations.
They are also extremely good at explaining and showing the issues they are finding so you know you are getting something fixed that actually needs to be fixed. And if it doesn’t need to be fixed, they will tell you that and won’t push you to make unnecessary repairs.
2. Price
I’ve done my due diligence in getting estimates from several places for each of the several repairs that my two cars have needed. Without fail, Napa gave me a lower cost than everywhere else I’ve looked. And it wasn’t a matter of “what are the competitors charging you? We will see if we can do something better”. They just gave me a better initial estimate than the competitors without needing to negotiate or do any kind of price matching. Their pricing was just simply better.
3. Trust
Having done a lot of “mechanic shopping” to try and find a place we like, I can confidently say we are finally converted to one place. Every other shop or dealership we went to would try to upsell us, convince us to make unnecessary repairs, add in hidden charges, etc etc etc. my wife and I, especially while in college, became so frustrated at how hard it was to find a place we could trust because we were having to pay with the little money we had for repairs we now feel we didn’t even need. However, in our literal hours of communication with Napa over the last few months, we feel complete trust and are so glad we found a business that doesn’t take advantage of its customers. I was especially impressed at the fact that they performed some of their services for free when it made sense to do so because they could kill two birds with one stone and do a quick repair while they were working on a larger more extensive repair in the same area.
4. Quality of service
Overall, between and replaced transmission, several oil changes, fixed AC, and replaced timing belt. We have found that the level of service Napa provides to be exceptional. Repairs were fast and followed the timeline we were told to expect when we agreed to the service. Communication was great and they educated us on basic maintenance which we hadn’t learned elsewhere.
If it’s not already obvious, I really recommend Napa, especially for fellow college people who might not have found somewhere for all their maintenance needs.
Thank you to Mike and all the mechanics who worked so hard to provide a good experience for us in what was otherwise a stressful period of several mechanical issues all happening at the same time! You have our business!

This is the auto place you’re looking for. Friendly service that seem honest and trust worthy. Knowledgable. And prices that seem reasonable. And they actually answer the phone.

My check engine light came on & I took it to Auto Zone to have the code ran. I really didn’t want to get charged close to $200 to have the problem diagnosed at the dealership, so I took it here. I needed my car for a road trip to go see my husband who’s in the army.
When I called to schedule an appointment, Mike was super kind and informative, even gave me solutions to try so I maybe I wouldn’t have to bring the car in. Nothing fixed the light, so I scheduled an appointment and got in. Mike was very thorough and did everything he could to figure out what was wrong, which turned out to be nothing. When I came back to pick up my car, they didn’t charge me a single penny since nothing was wrong! I was so impressed & so grateful for their honesty.
As a woman, it can be scary to take my car in as I feel like it can be hard to know I’m being treated fairly & not taken advantage of. Mike was honest, knowledgeable, thorough, and fair. Thank you Mike!!!

These guys are the very best there is! Mike is extremely informative and always provides the best customer service. I’ve gone here for multiple problems my civic has encountered and have always been satisfied by the work done. Highly recommend going here for any kind of auto repair service.

On our way to southern utah from Logan and my battery light came on. I
walked in at 4:55 with an alternator that was going out. Mike was able to get us in, diagnosed, parts ordered and repaired by 5:45. Highly recommend these guys for helping you get back on the road!

Friendly mechanics and Mike was awesome! I come from a car family and appreciated that he let me look at my car on the lift with him. Genuinely the best experience I've had at a mechanic since moving to Utah.

Mike is always amazing. I would take my car to him even when I lived in downtown SLC because I knew I would get great service, and that my vehicle would be taken care of. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

This review has been a long time in the making. I don't usually post reviews but Mike and his team are just so amazing that it is hard not to. It means so much to us to have a place that we can go to for any repairs or car maintenance that we trust. Mike and his team do such a good job of explaining what is going on with our car and being honest about what repairs are essential and less essential and letting us know really where things are at. We've been going here for 3 years now and were recommended this place from family who had been going here for a lot longer. One time we came here for something wrong with the bumper. The bumper ended up coming out of its clip. They didn't charge us for looking at it and putting it back into the clip. They have always taken good care of us and made sure we made informed decisions in the care of our car. We have also reached out to them for other places they recommend for work that they don't do because we really trust their opinion. We will definitely keep going here as long as we are in the area.

Had to pay $75 for a “half hour test drive and check” to diagnose an issue that I already suspected and the repair estimate was fairly steep

Mike the Mechanic was a huge help to us. Got us in right away. Was knowledgeable about our issues. And able to resolve them quick at a reasonable fee. Highly recommend.
