Action has worked on my cars and my family’s vehicles for a very long time I’ve spoke to the owners and they are very kind, understanding, and fair. These guys do good quality work on vehicles that will actually last unlike other car shops in Provo. I definitely recommend you going here if you are having issues on your vehicle. Keep the good work up action ?

Great place. Honest and fair. My car had symptoms of a failing transmission but it was a leak in the cooling lines instead. They fixed those and I was back on the road. They were honest about it and didn’t try to say it was worse than it was (which would have been easy because I don’t know much about transmissions).

Action Transmission rebuilt my transmission and Installed an Encoder motor in my truck. They had it rebuilt, and installed in less than a week. And everything works great, my truck shifts very nicely and runs great. They did a great job, I'm very happy. I have a warranty on the transmission too.

Joe and his team have been extremely unhelpful and refuse to fix something simple without charging $5k+ for parts and labor on a transmission that already has all brand new parts. Eventhough it would only take four hours to tear my transmission down and put it back together. I know because I've done it three times now because of crooked mechanics who choose to lie or not belive me when I tell them something like joe and the moron who messed with my transmission the first time. And whatever you do, do not get Joe as your service advisor, he is never in the office and refuses to work with people simply cause he wants the money. Beware of one star reviews cause Joe will call you and try guilt tripping you into believing they were going to work on your vehicle or transmission eventhough they just denied to work on my transmission simply cause I didn't want a stupid warranty and he knows it has all brand new parts cause I told him so when I brought it in.

I was so impressed with how kind and understanding they are. I went in expecting the worst and they actually repaired the issue and informed me it was not as bad or as expensive as I was thinking king. Good, trustworthy mechanics are just so valuable. I greatly appreciate all the people there! Keep helping those of us with limited car knowledge!

Had a semi-emergency and Action Transmission was happy to help including free towing and frequent updates. All car repairs are pricey and I don't know what other shops would charge but it was about I expected. They also found another problem which they repaired very reasonably.

Wayne was an awesome man to work with. I had a solid quote by midday and I expressed I needed my truck done by the next day to do my snow plow removal business on Friday. My truck was done on time. Very happy i highly recommend there service.

Took my car in on Monday to run a diagnostic test. I had been having gear slippage in my Nissan Rogue for a few months. A transmission was in stock here in Utah. It was immediately ordered. I got my car back on Wednesday with the new transmission installed. My car is running better than it ever has! I am impressed with the speedy turnaround they provided!

I arrived I told them the gear box is making noises UT shakes when I make shift. They charged me 180 dollars for inspection they check the car they say your car is making noises just the exact same thing I told them. I paid and never got my estimate for a new transmission. It was just a steal I tried contact the by emails messages and no replys. You better go to another mechanic you only come here if you are 100 percent sure you need a new transmission

My wife and I came here for some pretty big, unexpected repairs. Being poor college students, this news was very tough to receive. Action Transmission, and specifically our sales rep Wayne, made this difficult time a whole lot easier. Work was well done, communication was great, faces were friendly, and prices were fantastic. We could tell that they genuinely cared about our situation, Wayne gave us some great advice, and their outstanding service was such a relief. Brought my car in for a routine service but was concerned about a possible transmission fluid leak. Service was done super fast, everyone was really friendly, and they addressed my concerns. I have taken previous cars to other shops and had not so great experiences. I would 100% go back and would also recommend this shop to my friends and family!

I walked a transmission in with some major issues. These guys had it done in two days. Joe was awesome. He really took care of me and made me feel like a family member. Had a little bit of a miss understand on price to begin with. But Joe made a very personal and professional effort to make things right. And there work is above and beyond. If I ever having any transmission problems on any of my vehicles. Action is the place I will go.
