Crista Backus is the most caring loving individual towards animals. The services she renders towards my cat was exceptional. My hairy cat isn’t easy… Crista handled her professionally and put my stress and worries at ease. I’m greatful for her! The bath groom and trim turned out the way I hoped it would. I would refer cat and dog lovers to her! Thanks Crista!

Crista the Groomer has done all our dogs for over 21 years. She is amazing and so sweet. Our dogs live in our farm and she makes them feel amazing and smell heavenly. They are a hand full, and when I asked if they were bad, she just said no she just gave me kisses the whole time,ha ha. No wonder they get excited when I tell them they are going to the beauty shop to see Crista. Never had a bad cut.

I’ve used this vet for our cattery for many years and have nothing but great things to say about them. This vet makes sure he knows his breeds which I appreciate - Sphynx cats are a pretty specialized breed and he is very knowledgeable.

Update 5/17/24
Unethical and dishonest practice. They put a microchip in my dog that I never asked for. I didn’t say anything there because I was honestly just in shock and I’m pretty shy and non-confrontational. I took my dog to get groomed a couple days after and the microchip popped out! The groomer said it hadn’t even been placed well and was mostly in the glue. My husband, Jonac Bernal Gonzalez, left a 1 star review reporting the experience and the vet hospital responded that when I came in for the appointment, I had asked for the microchip 3 times and that there were witnesses that I had requested it. Not one time did I ever asked for a microchip, in person or over the phone. No vet or receptionist ever asked me for consent. I didn’t sign anything and I can come in and testify that I never requested this. English is my husbands second language and when he called, the receptionist said that I must have misunderstood what happened when I had “requested the chip”… joke’s on them because I’m a native English speaker and understood perfectly well what had happened that day.
We went in together the following week to tell them we had never asked for the chip, and the receptionist took pictures of the evidence and told me a manager would call me on Monday. When the manager called, she said that she would be willing to give us a refund for the chip if we removed our 1 star reviews. I told her that my husband and I would discuss and come to an agreement before making a final decision. Both of us were uneasy about the deal because it seemed shady and unethical. They can keep my money but the review stays. If you haven’t noticed, their Google reviews have an average of 4.1 stars, but on yelp, the average is a 2.2 star review. Something isn’t adding up. Perhaps they’re buying 5 star Google reviews to mask what’s going on below the surface. I’m disgusted that this clinic is still in business. Performing procedures without consent, lack of accountability for their actions, lying, false accusations, and no apologies or honest corrective action. They are shady as hell. These people are liars. I’m grateful that my husband and I trust each other because with the lies they fed him about this experience, this could easily have created problems in our marriage. There is something very fishy going on at this clinic. Steer clear of them.

Update 05/16/2024
We took our dog in for her yearly vaccinations and they implanted a microchip that we never asked for. A few days later, we took her to the groomer and the chip popped out. The groomer said it wasn’t even fully under the skin, it was mostly in the glue. They didn't even do the job well and they claim to be professional and certified. We went to the vet about the situation and they told us that the manager would talk to us on Monday. The manager spoke to my wife on Monday to propose a deal: she said that if we took our 1 star reviews down, they would give us our money back for the chip. My wife told her she would discuss the deal with me and that we would call her back once we’d made a decision together. I called the manager to verify what had been said and told her that I was not willing to remove my comment in order to get my money back. The deal seemed unethical and shady. I am not originally from the United States, but I came here to give my family a good life and help make this a better country. I felt that by deleting my comment in exchange for money, I would have been participating in corruption. They tried to buy our silence with money which to me is not okay. They are not ethical or professional and they didn’t even apologize or own up for what they did. At the end of the day, my wife simply did not ask for the chip and the receptionists lied to me when I called, saying she had requested it upon coming in, which is not true. The only thing I asked for was an apology to my family in general but they are so proud that they didn't even apologize for what they did. I could escalate this further and sue them because I have evidence that confirms everything I’ve said, but these people are not worth losing our time. They can keep our money. See the photos.
Additionally, this clinic pays for reviews, another testament to the corruption and dishonesty going on here. For every 1 star review, two or three 5 star reviews pop up soon after from users with no profile information. Doesn’t seem like a coincidence to me.

This is the the worst vet that I haven’t worked with, I took my dog a Chihuahua 14 years old, I take there for stomach pain but it come back worse, they charge me a lot of money and do nothing to my dog and they say they not did it, but I’m pretty sure they broken a bone on their hands.
I call to a clame and what they do is banned my dog or me.
Yes I been in your records, my dog name is Luna small chihuahua

My elderly mom paid around $2,500 for Dr Evans, West Mountain Animal Clinic in Payson, to do a luxating patella surgery on Daisy last May. She continued to have pain and problems. She took her to another clinic. The patella was definitely out. He made a video of the surgery he performed surgery last September. The surgery had not been done by Dr Evans as evidenced in the video. There are a lot more problems including a poorly attached bandage that cut into her other upper leg. Dr. Evans wouldn't let me bring her in to be checked. He said that happens often and to keep her regular appointment in 1-2 weeks. I called and asked to speak with Dr. Evans, but he hasn't responded. Staff is also unresponsive. He cheated an elderly woman out of her money and faked a surgery on a dog. . I have the video and pictures of the incident.
In my opinion, that is elder and animal abuse
