Second horrible experience. First time around I got fitted for boots and they gave me the wrong size. I didn't realize this until I was skiing a run. I came back and the workers just said it was the way I was skiing (I was skiing wrong) and they were just being rude and lazy. Second time around we booked our rentals in advance because we knew it would be busy for the holidays. We did not realize that we couldn't rent from them because we weren't guests at the hotel. You guys need to communicate your policy better because it was such a waste of time.

Outstanding hotel! We were here for five nights and had a fantastic stay. The beds are comfortable, the pool area is beautiful and the service was outstanding in every way possible. I look forward to visiting again.

We celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary here & everything was just perfect! We made s'mores in the afternoon while listening to wonderful dual pianists. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The biggest impression we had was the attentiveness of all the employees, from valet, to checkin, to dinner & breakfast servers. They even provide a free guided hike through the mountains, evening & morning. Loved the experience!

Nicked and Dimed for everything, on top of a resort fee. Completely outdated and nice but very unfriendly people. Not one person asked us how things are, greeted us or how our stay was. Waaaaaayyyy overpriced and really is a St Regis by name only - I would suggest even the Holiday Inn - much friendlier and better service. Asked to speak to someone at reception desk, but no one ever followed up.

We had drinks at the St. Regis Bar on a Tuesday afternoon. Ride the Funicular to the 3rd level and enjoy the views of Deer Valley while sitting in front of a large fire pit. Excellent charcuterie board. A few glasses of wine and a trip back down the funicular finished the afternoon. There is some construction near the valet parking.

This was the single worst experience since I’ve lived in utah. 90 minutes to get our food. Our drinks never arrived. There is no staff. No manager. I’ve never had such a terrible experience , Hard to believe this place is in business.

Had a disappointing experience with this location today. When we checked in we told the person setting us up that some of us were skiing for four days and some for three days. So we rented the skis for three days and we're going to extend the extra days only for those that needed it. However, they charged us for the fourth day even though we only used one of the skis for three days. Apparently for the day that you don't ski you need to bring the skis back from the ski valet to the store, a policy that they failed to communicate to us up front. So they charged us an extra day rental which was extremely annoying.

I stayed at the St. Regis for a business conference that was being held at the Montage. Unfortunately, I was only here to sleep for a few nights and I didn't get to enjoy all the amenities of the hotel. However, the service I received was excellent and I highly recommend a stay here. The rooms are fabulous!

We stayed at this resort with our family of 4 (kids aged 6/9) and can't wait to go back. Service as this resort was exceptional. We arrived during the busy Presidents' Day holiday and despite the high occupancy we were upgraded into a suite. I wasn't quite sure what to expect upon checking based upon the mixed online reviews, but am pleased to say we didn't experience any issues at checkin. Check-in was a breeze. We arrived in the late morning and our suite was not available. Staff gave us a brief tour and we used the time to organize our ski equipment. The room was ready soon after we arrived. The kids were given welcome packages with sunglasses, coloring books and stuffed animals. The on-site ski shop was helpful. We brought our own boots but rented the rest of the equipment. The selection of equipment was better than expected for rentals and we had the opportunity to demo different types of skis throughout our stay. A plus was that we were able to charge our ski rentals on our hotel bill and get extra Marriott points. The property facilities are exquisite. We arrived during a snowstorm and it was magical. The resort has managed to blend the rustic nature of a mountain resort with the elegance of a St Regis. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite which was gorgeous. We had a balcony overlooking the valley, two fireplaces, a full kitchen and spacious bathroom. The units look to be residential condo units that are rented out through the resort. As we traveled over a holiday period the resort had a number of activities for the kids. Each day there was something new. One day was balloon art and a caricaturist. The next day bouncy house and game room. Each night they offer s'mores and late afternoon a hot chocolate buffet is made available free of charge. We celebrated my daughters birthday while on property and the St Regis didn't disappoint. We arrived back to our room to find balloons, a birthday cake and candles, wine and birthday gifts for her. Needless to say it was the highlight of her trip. The ski on and ski off location and ski concierge service was fantastic. It was hard to go home and have to put on my own gear again. The only downside is the lift by the St Regis was often closed due to high winds. The resort has a nicely sized pool and hot tub that overlooks the slopes. It was refreshing to take a dip after a day on the slopes. The kids club was a favorite of my kids with the coloring, video games and board games. It was staffed with two ladies and we were comfortable enough to leave my son alone for an hour or so.I visited the spa to use the common facilities. The space was well appointed and relaxing. The only downside was other guests who destroyed the serenity by talking on their phone loudly and had no respect for other guests. I was surprised that spa staff didn't ask her to leave or shut off the phone. While we lived our stay at the St Regis there were some areas for improvement. The food was decent however the options were limited. There were not great options for family dining beyond the bar and the menu didn't provide much variety.Breakfast was a buffet and was tasty with a good variety of options. As my husband has loyalty status our breakfast was included as an amenity. When we checked in we were told that our breakfast credit was one amount however we were informed another day into our stay that the resort changed its policy and the breakfast credit was reduced in half. Not exactly the St Regis experience to give a benefit one day and take it away another day mid stay. The staff seemed to realize how ridiculous this was and the price adjustment was taken care of at check out. Housekeeping was a challenge. We had great service the first half of our stay however as the week progressed and the resort got busier housekeeping service went down. We called several times before we left the room for service and came hone at the end of the day to find that housekeeping had not come. The front desk made their apologies and had to step in several times. Not a huge deal for us bu

Before going to this resort, I was nervous based on these reviews. Then, there was a mix-up with our room and we were given one bed for my family of four. I called the hotel and the general manager, Grant, helped my family without hesitation. The staff at this resort will go above and beyond to ensure that you have the trip of a lifetime. I have traveled all over the world and stayed at the best of the best resorts, but hands-down this was one of the most well-run resorts. The employees go out of their way to get to know the guests by name, the ski valet included! Elliot, is another phenomenal employee that will figure out a solution to every issue (and never once made me feel like I was bothering him)... Bruce from the front desk never leaves and was even able to track down the ski rental company when they accidentally picked up my skis a day early! Joy, always had a smile on her face, and made the kids feel important every time she saw them. The restaurant onsite was great, the ski in/ski out was awesome, the kids club was fantastic and the hot chocolate bar was amazing! I have a rule to never visit the same area twice.. but I am breaking this rule because we all cannot wait to go back to ski DV at the St. Regis next March!

I very much appreciate the fabulous attention and helpfulness of the team. I rented skis and a helmet to go with my own boots. The staff did a great job of talking me through my options. When I returned on the second day to deal with my own boot inserts, they took the time to get me back on the slopes with an appropriate, professional repair. Excellent service and an even better attitude. Thanks!
