My half boot chocolate hornback with canela goat are the most comfortable boot or even shoe I have ever owned. From the first time putting them on they felt like I had worn them for 15 years. The staff in Park City does an amazing job.

There may be others, but this is THE Western store and hat shop in Park City. Longstanding authentic Utah family business and American made, much of it right in Salina UT. I recommend stopping in at least just to admire the quality of the craftsmanship. I've been a repeat customer over the years.

Hands down one of my favorite parts of Park City! Everyone at this shop is so helpful and welcoming - particularly Ainsley who took the time to help me find the perfect hat! Everything is unique and well-priced for the incredible quality. We also loved the music - fun mix of 70s rock and country ? can’t wait to make another visit - 10/10!

This place was awesome! My brother in law came here last year. He took us this year so I could get a custom hat. Tai helped me pick one out and then she recommended Zach to shape it for me. They were super nice!!!! Zach did an awesome job. Being from Georgia, if I ever have the opportunity to come back to Park City, I will definitely revisit. The hospitality was over the top!!!! Thank you so much!!!

Absolutely love this place! I couldn't recommend it more. I brought my hat in to get it completely reshaped and add some personal style and flair to it. Hannah was the one that helped me out and I couldn't recommend her more! She was fantastic and made my hat look exactly how I wanted it to without even realizing what I wanted before going in. Got a hat here and I am so happy!!! The employees are very knowledgeable and very helpful in making sure you get exactly what you want. They were very accommodating when I wanted to get my hat resized after I had already made a purchase two days before and did it free of charge. Absolutely recommend going here if you are going to get a hat! They are brand new, mold any kind of shape you want, and help you customize it any way you want!

Truly a FIVE star experience from the moment you come in and ongoing! We were visiting Park City and just happened to walk in never expecting such an amazing store and great customer service.We are from Austin, TX so there's no shortage of custom hat stores, but it was partly the experience that had us buying hats here. We worked with Hannah and all I can say is if you are working with her... you ARE going to buy a hat. She's very good at reading people and picking out what would go best for each individual down to the color and style of the hat.But mind you, this is not ordinary experience. It's extremely personalized to each individual; not just the fitting for proper size, color that works best but the shaping. I think I've spent less time buying a new car and that's not meant to be negative. Rather just to emphasize the personal attention you receive when you want to check out the hats.They have so many colors and style variations for you to look at, but regardless, if you already know how you want your hat to look, they can style it. When you pick out the color you want, you are going to be a basic hat with a flat brim and a round crown. So don't be shocked when they bring out the new, unshaped hat. Right in front of you, they will shape it to the exact style you want and it's really an impressive process to watch. One of the most impressive things was changing the size of the brim. We wanted the brim just a little smaller than the stock hat. They will measure it down to an 1/8th of an inch and after they cut it, you would never know the hat didn't come that way originally. Again, the transformation from the stock hat to the one you take with you is an amazing process to watch. And something I haven't ever seen before, they will actually "brand" your hat if you want. Think of branding like a cow get branded; they have these little branding irons and we chose to get our initials branded on the underside of the brim. A very nice personalization and a great way to make sure someone else doesn't accidentally pick up your hat!They have a wide array of hat bands anything from a very basic but nice hatband that comes with the purchase of the hat, to hand etched solid leather bands with silver buckles for the same price (and sometimes more) as the hat. But when you look at the history of the Burns Western apparel (since 1876), it's clear the quality of the material and craftsmanship. Don't be shocked by the price; again, this is a quality hat that is going to last a lifetime and people will recognize the quality. In the first day after getting the hat, we received so many comments from people passing wanting to know where we got the hat from.If you came to Park City and weren't prepared to carry something like this back on the plane... not to worry. When we finished our trip, we returned to the store and they will put the hat in a nice protective box and ship to your home address so there no worry about how you are going to carry this on a plane. We are already planning another trip in March to Park City and we won't leave before visiting Burns Cowboy Shop to pick up another hat! Everyone here is very nice and helpful, but ask for Hannah. She is so knowledgeable and fun to work with. But one warning... if Hannah helps you... you ARE going to buy a hat :) she doesn't pressure, but she knows the hats so well, you are going to feel like something is missing if you don't get one of these hats. We couldn't be happier and you don't have to live in Texas or Utah. You can wear this in New York, Chicago or Miami and people are going to recognize a quality of piece of headwear.

I absolutely love the hats that I purchased and the experience that I had at Burns. I'm glad I don't live closer or I'd spend my entire savings there. Lol. Next on my list...boots!
