The lady that is running the store is by far the pettiest so my 18 wheeler went into a protection mode due to low coolant I parked on the on ramp walked my crippled self down the hill to get some water put in my jugs and the lady in the store charged me two dollars to get water from the outside hose like come on and the young man working with her was so embarrassed because he didn’t want to charge me and even argued for me but long story short I paid for the water cause I needed it. And to the lady running the store it’s not that hard to lend a helping hand to someone in need but thank you again for the water

Kings of padding extra time into their work. They might know what they are doing but I'll never go back.

Held my car for over a month, kept telling me it would be only a few more days, charged me 1,500 to accomplish nothing, alpine foreign repair finished the project for 500 in two days.

These guys really screwed us over. We have a 2007 Subaru Outback that we had to bring in to replace the clutch. Auto Motorworks wasn't our first choice but our clutch pretty much went out in front of their shop so we had to have them replace it. And they SAID they did. They said they replaced ALL the moving parts in the clutch, including the fly wheel, costing approximately $2000, which includes them doing a couple other repairs while they were in the engine. This was about a year ago. Within a couple weeks, the clutch started whining so we brought it back to Auto Motorworks. Lou, the owner, drove it and said he couldn't hear anything and it was likely driver error. I've been driving stick for over 20 years. It was NOT my driving. But Lou insisted. Then we took it to Burt Brothers. They drove it and told us it was likely an issue with the clutch that Lou should have caught while replacing the clutch. We took it back to Auto Motorworks, explained what Burt Brothers said and they said they would look at it but if it was something else, they would have to charge us for taking apart the engine again. And of course, they came back, said it was something else, and charged us another $1800. At this time, he said he checked the fly wheel and it looked great, with no hot spots. We paid and expected this to be the end of it. As soon as we drove away, the clutch started shuddering and smelling like burnt clutch. We took it right back to him and he said, once again, that he could not hear anything and blamed it on my driving. At this point we were done dealing with him. He's either a liar, scam artist, incompetent, or all three. I've just taken my car to The Subaru dealership and they've confirmed that it's an issue with the flywheel having hotspots. Whatever you do, don't take your car to Auto Motorworks in Summit Park. Lou is a liar. He doesn't know what he's doing and can't be trusted. We spent over $3000 to have our clutch replaced and are having to bring it in to Subaru, a year later to have them pull apart the engine again because he didn't do a proper job. Take your money elsewhere.

He is completely honest and they do good work at a very fair price. They are very nice people and as I said, Honest! He will never do what you don't need just to make more money off of you! You can feel good knowing that what needs to be done is getting done and you are not getting overcharged! Obviously I highly recommend Auto Motorworks!

Lou is the third owner of this garage since I've been living here and his operation is by far the best. They are not cheap but they are thorough and do a good job. Can't ask for more. (Edit: by "not cheap" I mean not a discount shop like Pep Boys or the like. Like the previous review said their costs are competitive and they do good work.)

New owners & new pumps & new ground tanks! Full service repair plus a little shop to pick up snacks. I subtracted a star because gas prices seem higher than other local places but happy to have the station up & running. Lou, the owner, is very easy to speak with & seems to know his stuff.

I've been here twice and had great experiences both times. I'm very picky about my mechanics(my father is one) and had heard some good things about this shop from someone I trusted. I gave it a shot and I was very happy. Lou (the owner) is very knowledgeable, honest, and fair. The prices were true to the work and better than you'll find at some of the other shops in town. Both times my car needed some love he helped me find the best solution that worked for me. He only had his mechanics repair what was necessary and what we had agreed on. He informed me of any unexpected problems they found that should be fixed, but was clear about their priority and didn't just add them on to the job without talking to me (I asked to be informed as they worked but I bet he would have contacted me even if I hadn't). I had some major repairs done(new front ball joints, valve cover gaskets replaced), some serious exhaust repair( they didn't make me replace the whole exhaust system like the dealership wanted to) all of my brakes tuned up(some rotors, a caliper, new pads), and my alignment fixed. All the work was solid and done in a timely manner (it's first come first serve, so be sure to communicate when you need the work done by if you're in a rush and see what's possible). I recommended this shop to my neighbor and she had the same experience. If you need a place to take your vehicle in Park City, call Lou. He'll get the job done right.

This is the second time we have had problems with the pumps not working at Summit Park and there is never anyone around to help. It is the last time we go to a Sinclair.
