Horrible horrible service... I avoid going into this branch... They are not very helpful... They aren't even train properly... The associates had to get up multiple times to ask one of the managers guidance since she didn't even know how to retrieve information from my account.. something that should of taken no more than 15 min took over and hour, and after she keep giving my little nephew dirty looks.. At this point we were both fed up..

DO NOT BANK HERE! They do not have a policy to prevent elderly fraud. My parents were just frauded out of a significant amount of money -- all Zions needed to do was to call ANY of the other three people listed on the account to verify if my dad had been to China. They felt it was suspicious but took minimal action to help an 86 year old man who lives in an assisted care center. They only needed to stop and make one call!!

can you give less than one star? I have had accounts at Zions Bank for years and I researched the best place to get foreign currency in SLC. I read the Zions Bank Website and went to my local branch. After being ignored as the only person waiting for help, I was told the one person who could do this was busy with an "important" person. (Obviously not me.) Then I called the "help" number on the website and their only advice was to go to my branch another time. Not helpful or useful at all.

The manager came out and apologized and I did as well. We had a really good conversation. I can respect that, he made me feel like it mattered to him.

These guys have been my bankers for 20 years, and they're everything a bank should be. The building is nice, the staff is attentive, the manager knows my name, and they are always quick to help. Yes it sometimes gets busy but that's typical for any bank. They've helped me with personal accounts, accounts for my kids, accounts for a couple of charities I work with, business accounts, equity mortgage credit lines-the whole deal. I like that they're a local bank but with a solid national status.

Worst bank ATM in history. Not only does the Zions Bank ATM not accept paper checks for deposit, in order to even try using the ATM requires you to get out of your car in order to access the keyboard. Junk!!

I brought in my Euros after my vacation. Unfortunately my bank doesn't offer the service. This is the closest branch to my home so I went in there rather than going to a Wells Fargo. I figured a smaller bank like Zions would be more willing to help people out, wrong! I went to the counter and asked for the money to be exchanged. The teller was very sweet and kind and did the exchange for me. She must've been either new or has never done a foreign currency exchange. She checked the rate and did the exchange and didn't ask for the fee of $10 for non customers. After handing me the cash she said "one moment, I need to ask about the fee" her "awesome" manager came up and said there is no waiving the fee for non customers. I said but it's only 60€ it not like it's $1,000 or something. That's almost 17% for the fee! Absolutely ridiculous!!!

Charge a $5.00 fee to cash a check drawn on their bank if you don't have an account. When I said I will open one deposit then withdraw and close it they said that is not allowed. I asked to see the policy, they said that they can't show it to me. Why bank at a bank that won't allow people you write a check to to get their money? Why would I ever consider banking here if they they are going to treat people I write checks to this way. Their branch manager Nick Whiting told me that he has no power to waive the fee. I questioned him on that and he said that he can waive it in certain circumstances when he chooses. I asked why he lied to me. He said that he told me the first time that he could waive it in certain circumstances, but he had said "I have no power to waive this fee". He said that he doesn't want to work with someone who is like me. I asked if he means someone who asks why he lies. He didn't know what to say. In short, this particular branch is staffed by liars, and the bank in general assesses fees at every opportunity to their account holders, and non account holders.

If I could rank it a 0 I would. Sherry Ha**** did nothing to help us except tell my wife and I to wait. One of the desk guys freed up and told us to go back to the teller line so another 20 minutes of waiting. There are some great credit unions out there. Too sum it up: zions bank is full of bankers that aren't concerned about the customers as much as they are about scanning documents in the back. Yep that's what Sherry said she had to do. This and the outrageous fees are the reason I liberated myself from zions bank. I hope they enjoy the class action lawsuit :)!
