I took my dogs here for grooming a couple weeks ago. My first appointment was canceled because the groomer called out sick. My second appointment went well. I was charged extra (for higher weight class, and for matted hair, even though neither had matted hair) because I have two northern breed dogs with thick fur. They did a really good job, and I was happy with how they looked, but typically I don't get charged extra fees on top of the typical rate at other groomers.

Petco sold me a fish they injured trying to catch. We didn't know it was injured at the time. But they said if it died because it was acting weird that they have a 30 day warrant on the fish. I have vital care so I got a 20% off deal and used our 5 dollar monthly allowance that you get for being a vital care member. but the fish died within 5 mins and we had to turn around and drive back. So we started the exchange process which is supposed to be free. But the vital care messed up the exchange process which made it so the fish exchange was no longer free but 2 dollars extra. so we canceled the exchange and we will cancel our vital membership. Do not get the vital membership it messes with everything regarding fish issues. I will be shopping at petsmart because they honor their exchange policy.

The staff was friendly and helpful but like.... do cats just not matter at pet stores in Orem? The cat selection is so limited compared to the dog selection that takes up literally 80% of the store. I shouldn't have to drive to salt lake county just to get the cat food my cat eats. He's not even on a specialized diet or anything, this store just has the absolute bare minimum when it comes to any animal other than dogs. For the sake of all of the cat owners out there, do better. If you're looking for a good location with lots of cat supplies, check out the Draper petco :)

They've canceled on us twice for rescheduling, and we just got here for the third time--a long drive--and they said they wouldn't take the dog because his rabies vaccine is a few weeks expired. He's a new dog to the family, we didn't know it was expired, and it wouldn't have been expired if they hadn't canceled on us twice before. For one of these cancelations, their groomer got COVID and they said they called everyone who had an appointment but my wife got text reminders the day before and day of saying "see you soon!" and we didn't receive any calls to cancel or reschedule. It's now 85 degrees or higher every day and the dog's dying of heat. These guys aren't willing to do anyone favors and it almost seems like they were *trying* to pull some kind of red tape excuse out so they could lighten their load. We won't be coming back to any Petco locations.

Do not go to this Petco unless you are in a dire situation. I was recently at this Petco and my experience was decent but this second time not so great. I have been to multiple Petcos and they always have scanned my items to check price matching their website EVEN at this location when I had went on Sunday of this last weekend. When I had gotten their I went and grabbed my fishy tank thermometer and a plant rock then I walked up to the front end to check out. I WAITED FOR 3 minute for the new male cashier to see me while bud back was turned fixing items on a near by shelf. That is a safety issue first off... but then he comes over after I approach him with a attitude because I asked if he was busy and all he did was look at me like I was silly. Then I asked if he could price match my items and he said no because he was new... I was internally screaming at this point. Then his so called "CSM" came up and he was like "what?" Very rudely to me. Instead he could've been like, "I over heard you had a questions what can I help you with?". Considering his new cashier was all alone on the front end. I asked the "CSM" if he could price match my 2 items and he was like "no, you have to pull it up on your app or browser then we can price match." I was trying to keep my cool let me tell you! I pulled up the Thermometer and sure enough it was a dollar cheaper online that is when I communicated that other store associates have personally scanned my products and price matched for me & THEN THE "CSM" WAS LIKE "well the person that did that must have just been nice" at this point I put my head down towards my phone as I checked my priced matched items online. I was f****** annoyed. Then when I left (this CSM was like 6 foot & had black longish hair) "CSM" had his back to me because I bet he could sense my annoyance. I tried to be the nicer person and as I was walking out I said "thank you" directly to him I knew he heard it because I read his body language & he didn't reply then started talking to the rookie cashier. I just walked out at that point not going to waste my energy anymore. Overall, do not shop here unless you want to pop a b*****

Treated our pet very kindly, and made sure he enjoyed the experience even though he was getting vaccinated. My dog didn't even notice the shot at all! Also, the vet answered every question I had in taking care of him. Definitely would recommend, especially at the price.

The employees at Vetco helped me schedule my pups appointment and helped me when I had to make last minute schedule changes. They treated my pup with respect, kindness and were gentle throughout our visit. We will definitely be coming back for future appointments.

It's crazy how far Petcos are from me now! I got a bday gift for my pup in my email for being a Pals member, so I stopped by to grab a 1lb bag of treats. The young man working was very warm and rang me up right away. I was bummed I couldn't choose different treats from the treat bar (all were prepackaged) due to COVID practices, but that's not their fault. It's COVIDs!

Very very disappointed!! I will never shop there again!! Went with my 21 year old daughter to purchase some goldfish! While waiting for someone to come help us, we were picking out the goldfish we wanted as pets for our tanks. When we finally got help they told us we could not get any feeder gold fish as pets...that we needed to pick another kind of goldfish. I have never had that problem at any pet store. I had always gotten those type of gold fish for my daughter when she was 5 yrs old as pets in a decent size tank. I was so frustrated!! Since they were so negative about it I then told them that I wanted to get 2 fancy gold fish. The guy said, those fish grow pretty big and that I cannot have them in my 20 gallon fish tank. It's common sense that if my fish were to grow bigger I would purchase a bigger tank!!! They treat you as you're a kid and with no knowledge! One should be able to buy what ever kind of fish they want!!! I'll just go shop at Jay's Jungle and Animal Ark!! They are amazing!!!
