There is a FAT 100$ sign up fee for the 10$ a month. And the monthly is 25$ with a 50$ sign up fee the next month. So be aware. Other than that the service is good.

Membership is affordable although the yearly fee is a bit ridiculous as it’s equal to 5 months of the membership. I could understand a first time fee so that people aren’t canceling and starting memberships all the time but I’ve had mine for over a year and have had to pay two yearly fees despite the fact that I’m clearly sticking around. I also would honestly rather pay a slightly higher membership each month than a yearly fee.

Clean with very friendly and helpful staff. Great environment for both gym rats and the casual exercise enthusiasts. Well worth the money you pay for membership.

I got a visitor's pass to attend a high fitness class with Lindsay on Dec 30 at 7 am. Lindsay was a great instructor and put us through the ringer! Her enthusiasm and immersiveness made the class very enjoyable. I would recommend any class led by Lindsay!

Trying to cancel my guest privileges going on 12 months, I ask gym employee, gym employee says call member services, member services says do it from app, app doesn’t have option to cancel guest privileges. I leave bad review, I get call from gym, I get told they will no longer charge me for guests privileges, next week I get charged 27.99. Repeat, repeat repeat

My girlfriend and I went to VASA this morning and an employee (old lady with blonde hair) stopped us at the front because my girlfriend didn’t have a picture on her account. She has been going for 4 years and they never made her add a picture until now. Instead of asking politely that she add a picture before entering, this employee started yelling at my girlfriend and accusing her of using an account that wasn’t hers. My girlfriend calmly said it was her account and that she was happy to show ID to prove it but this employee just continued yelling and demeaning her. I have never met a more disrespectful and unprofessional employee in my life. We will be paying for a different gym membership so we no longer have to deal with these power hungry and rude employees at VASA.

I just signed up and got the Studio membership which includes pretty much everything they offer there. I’ve attended two HIIT Classes with Katie(Katelyn) she’s awesome! She makes the class fun yet kicks your butt! The staff there has always been very kind, ready and willing to work with me to start achieving my fitness goals. I’m 47 years old and I’m way excited to get back in shape and get my health and my life back. Thanks VASA ??

Yikes. Embarrassing Costomer service for vasa. Many of my friends and I have had a bad experience with Jackson. He is very accusatory. He wouldn’t let my friend work out even with a buddy pass. Some sort of power complex asserting dominance in hopes the manager will see?. ??♀️I Hope he’s not promoted because he clearly doesn’t get paid enough to act like that. While he was adamant to earn $15 from a 1 day pass he lost $50 in monthly memberships as my friend and her husband are not coming back and my friend will definitely not be joining. Management should definitely be aware of this unacceptable behavior.

This has been my favorite gym for years, but because of Jackson, I AM NEVER COMING BACK! Jackson has made me lose all respect for VASA, I am NEVER coming back to this gym because of him! Me and my friends came to work out, but one of my friends did not have a pass. Knowing she had to have a pass to get in, one of our friends told us we could use his pass (HE WAS AT THE GYM TOO AND HAD A BUDDY PASS). So we scanned the pass, they let us go through, and Jackson chased us down yelling at us and said, "That pass was not yours, that is theft!" Confused about how we just used our friends account that gave us permission and scanned his account himself, we did not understand what his problem was. After trying to explain to him what happened before his own eyes, he started to get really upset and threatened, "If you do not leave right now, I am going to call the police!" Like?? Are you serious?? We were innocent, regular gym goers, and had no clue why Jackson was being so rude to us. We continued to try and explain but forced us out by escorting us out of the gym. THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD AT A GYM, COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!! Whatever happened to common courtesy and customer service?? I hope Jackson gets fired soon for this horrific behavior. I AM NEVER COMING BACK!

i was the friend in kate nash’s review from 10/5/23! see her review for the full story. i had the most unbelievably ridiculous experience checking in. jackson was incredibly dramatic, condescending, and rude. i might’ve considered getting a pass at vasa, but after my experience yesterday i will not be coming back. i cannot believe he accused us of theft and trespassing, threatened to call the police, and escorted us out after my friend’s brother allowed me to be scanned in with his buddy pass. the whole experience was outrageous.

Really Impressed at how easy it was to become a member as a visitor. Really good value and a huge amount of every type of fitness you're looking for. As I'm from Australia the team organised a card for me (can't download the US app unless I cancel many subscriptions to other Aus apps). Lots of encouraging personal trainers around.

Prior to my recent negative experience at vasa. I liked it here. But I got extremely sick last year and spent a few months with heavy fatigue. I tried to contact managers to discuss my account. But no one reached out to me. I was bounced around with their offices when I tried to call and no one picked up their phone. My account unfortunately went to collections. The staff are negligent and have a lack of care/empathy toward members with urgent needs. I will never purchase another membership under vasa fitness/the silver oaks brand. And will continue to advise my friends to not pursue their fitness goals here.Overall an okay gym but if you have issues with your account. AVOID this place, they do not care.

This location is pretty good overall when it’s not crowded. It has everything you need to get a good workout, although I wish a few things were different. First, I wish that employees wouldn’t look around and always target me as someone who looks like they need to do their free personal training session just because I’m thicker. I have health issues that are making me this thick and it’s really annoying seeing them pass a bunch of other guys and girls that are thinner to come to me during my workout. If I was interested and had extra money I’d bring it up to the front desk. Another thing I wish is that the bench press benches were a little lower like Provo’s. I somehow cant bench on the flat Orem ones anymore because it gives me back pain and it never used to happen at Provo. My form is accurate and hasn’t changed so I think it’s the bench height. There’s also not enough weights(plates) in the bench section. I also wish they had more variety of cable attachments like ropes(the kind Provo has that are longer with knots at the bottom), curl bars for triceps and lat pull down bars with the rubber handles. Plus, they need at least one or two more places to rack the attachments because everyone just throws them on the floor which is super annoying. The sled machines don’t move up and down without tension which feels like you have added resistance when pushing up(like it’s rubbing) and I personally don’t like that because it means I can’t lift as much. My last complaint is about cleanliness. Lately I’ve noticed the cubbies by the green track are very dusty and the machines need a deep clean. Some treadmill cup holders are looking nasty and the stair steppers always have dried up sweat. Having hand sanitizers around a few places would also be nice!

Never ever sign up for their personal training program. They smack you with hidden aspects of contracts you didn't agree to and have terrible terms, and canceling is extremely expensive and very difficult to do. An absolutely blatant Attempt to rob and screw over their clients. All that aside, their "cheap monthly fee" is completely overshadowed by a bogus $50-$80 "yearly fee" for no reason at all other than to fill their greedy pockets.

Today, I came in for a one hour workout. Starting 30 minutes before close, about every 5-10 minutes, a female employee would go around blaring an extremely loud alarm. (See picture) This was one of the loudest alarms I've ever heard. The first time, I thought it was a fire alarm, because it was so loud. Each time she would hold it down and walk around the entire gym for minutes at a time.I am autistic and extremely sensitive to sound. Visibly upset, I asked her to turn it off after she had already been blaring it for 1-2 minutes for about the fourth time. When I asked her, she proceeded to stop walking in front of me, stared directly at me, and blared the alarm for about 20 more seconds. The only reason she stopped is because another guy got into a verbal altercation with her that was also next to us. She only stopped the alarm to argue with him...Finally, a male employee came and took the alarm from her after about a minute to deescalate the situation. She eventually just rolled her eyes and walked away. Neither employee appeared to apologize to the other guy either. To be honest, I didn't hear the conversation between them, but the other guy working out seemed upset the entire conversation. This caused half of my workout to be a distressing and anxiety filled experience. I left before the gym closed to be respectful, but 40 minutes later my nervous system is still very distressed from the extra stimulation.Sure, warn people time is about out for a couple seconds, 5-10 minutes before close, but this was completely unprofessional. I watched multiple other people visibly upset by this that didn't say anything. I've been coming here for over a year, and this isn't my first bad experience at this location. I already go to other locations occasionally with better experiences, so I will most likely downgrade my membership, and just switch to the other location permanently.I don't know if this is company policy, or rogue employees, but it demonstrated a blatant disregard for a peaceful workout for your customers during open hours. And your employee was disrespectful towards me and your other customer.
