Orem, and I can confidently say they provide some of the best auto services in the area, especially for German cars. The level of expertise and attention to detail that the technicians exhibit is unmatched, ensuring that every visit leaves my car running smoothly.
What really sets the German Auto Shop apart is their affordability. Their prices are significantly lower than what you would encounter at a dealership, making it a go-to for savvy car owners who want dealership-quality service without the hefty price tag. This aspect alone has made me a loyal customer.
The staff's knowledge of German automobiles is impressive. They not only perform routine maintenance with exceptional skill but also tackle complex mechanical issues with the same level of professionalism and efficiency. Their friendly and helpful approach makes each visit pleasant, and they’re always willing to explain any part of the service process and provide transparent advice on what is necessary and what is optional.
If you own a German car and want confidence that it is in good hands, the German Auto Shop in Orem is the place to go. Their expertise, coupled with fair pricing, truly makes them stand out.

I really appreciated and like the service they did on my Q5 for a year ago. But it seems they're on partial retirement now and I may have to find somebody else for my hard jobs. ?

They tell you they diagnose your problem but actually just assume the problem and charge you for parts you don’t actually need and ruin your car more. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone

I would not Evan give them one star they are scabby and dis honest they just want money they don't care much for you or your vehicle. I think any other shop would probably be better

Buyer beware. Just because they say Audis are expensive to repair, doesn’t necessarily make it so. They quoted me $1400 to replace a fuel pump. $140 later for the part, I did this easy repair myself that took about 90 minutes. Won’t be going back since I felt like they tried to take advantage of me because it’s an Audi.

If you own a German import you know how dificult it is to get your car into the shop. We have a daily driver and it's very dificult to be without. After calling around to literally 10 shops these guys said bring it in, leave it. We have time set aside for quick fixes and emergency diagnostic. True to their word. Issue resolved by next day. They know what they are talking about and nice people.Services: Oil change

These guys are great! I originally brought my 2011 Audi A6 3.0-T Supercharged to the Audi dealer in Lehi because it was leaking antifreeze into the crank case, and the dealer told me I needed a new engine, that would cost a minimum of $20k, not including labor. I decided to get a second opinion. After speaking to Colby on the phone and he told me it sounds like the Oil Separator. I towed it to the German Auto Shop. I must admit, I was a little skeptical at first. I mean they didn't even have an itemized quote form or business cards. However, he and Wes (Owner,) checked it out and thought that they were 90% sure that's what it was, but they'd have to replace about 15 parts and do a pressure test to make sure. It took them about a week, but man they were right. Wes really knows Audi's. I got my car back and its running like an Audi should - fast, and it cost me less than 1/4 of what the dealer quoted me! Wes, also saw that it needed an Air filter Case, mine was cracked and he threw that in, no charge. You can tell Wes loves and knows Audi's, owns several of his own, and appreciates when they run like clock work. It was fun talking with him about these fast machines! They may only be a two man operation, but these are two men that I'd trust my valuable machine with! Thanks gentlemen, you did great work, and I appreciate it!

Unprofessional, worst auto repair shop I have ever been to! When you take your vehicle in to the shop with one problem you hope that you don't have to take it back for the same problem they masked. Then when you have just paid them $2400 to get it fixed the first go around. Bring it back and get told it's another $1200 in repairs. Then when you try to keep calm and go in and ask for your keys back they ask you if you've been called on it and I just answered no cause I just wanted my keys. They gentlemen asked me why I have an attitude, I told him well you had my car for 2 1/2 weeks the first time and you didn't fix the problem and costed me $2400 now you want my car again and you want more money that's why I have an attitude maybe I didn't say it as nicely or in the greatest tone but by this point I was really upset and so was he but he says some pretty harsh things when he went to get my keys and then came back put the keys down tells me leave and not to ever come back I said fine by me. He then proceeds to follow me out the office and starts assaulting me and I feel like it was a threat, saying I hope the next shop has fun fixing your Audi. Makes me wonder what are they hiding! I have lots of friends and family who work with auto's. I have never heard of some one follow another out to a vehicle before. So I went to another shop we will leave the name of this shop out but they were very helpful and told me how to handle this situation they took a copy of the job this shop was suppose to do but only masked the problem. They also found that my oil was 2 qts low when 6 weeks ago they supposedly changed it at that time.

The shop does great work, but their organizational skills are very poor. I went to pick up my car, but they were closed for lunch even though their business hours say they were supposed to be open. I waited by the door for 30 minutes, but they never came.I left and came back an hour later when they were open again. They told me that they were only gone for 15 minutes for lunch, which is a lie and made me wonder why they didn’t unlock the door for me as I was standing by it for 30 minutes straight. After picking up my car, I found a panel to some part of my car on the floor. So now I have to figure out where it goes.Overall, this shop does great work, but they need to improve their communication and organization.
