After a complete search of my clothing and all other belongings, I could not locate my credit card. I tried again the following days, gave up, and finally went to my Mountain America branch. I was very embarrassed, and went to a teller, who put my mind at ease with his kindness and smile, and told me that it happens, and not to be ashamed or embarrassed. I gave him the information he requested, and within 10 minutes he gave me a new credit card number, and new credit card. We established a new password, and he cancelled the old card. I was relieved to know the old card was cancelled and could not be used by anyone for purchases or withdrawals from my accounts, and was shortly out the door and in my car. I'm a Mountain America customer for life because of the way I was treated. --Maurine Fronckowiak

I appreciate the help I received at the drive up from my Teller(3351) at the AF branch. He was very professional and spoke to a manager about an error that had occurred on a deposit the day before at another branch. They quickly corrected the issue and I was on my way. To them it might have been small but to me it was HUGE.Thank you.

This is a review of the credit union, not the branch. I’ve never had such a bad experience with any other CU or bank of any sort. Since we opened the account, we have been waiting for 3 months for a debit card (they insist they have sent it and I’ve called every 2 weeks and each time they pretend they send it again). We have been using a temporary one but I already gave up any hopes of getting the other one. They don’t work with Venmo, and we had to wait for 90 days to be able to use the account with Zelle. Then we deposited some cash at the ATM and it took the cash and the card. They said the people with the key come EVERY TWO WEEKS. They provided another card copy but the money hasn’t been accredited and it’s been 4 days. We got a letter saying the “dispute” can take months to be resolved (but hey! They proved they can actually mail stuff to me! Just not a card, I guess). Missing money in this economy can mean not paying rent, not being able to eat, an overdraft, and so on, but they don’t care. I left Zions because they had a system issue and some of my money “disappeared” for two days, but so far I’m having a worse experience with MACU.

We have been part of Mountain America Credit Union since we first moved to Utah in 1995. During the 'Bank vs. Credit Union issues years ago, we were pressured to move to a bank from a friend, and we held firm, trusting MACU with our money 100%.
