Hardware essentials was contracted by our builder to provide door knobs, closet hardware, locks, shower door, etc. Our experience with them from day one has been extremely pleasant. Rich was our go to guy, and he was great to work with. He checked in with us regularly, he responded to texts, and he went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed. We had an incident where someone broke into our house, and acquired the onsite key generally reserved for sub-contractors. We called Hardware Essentials to get the locks and keys replaced, which they took care of that day even though they were extremely busy. Made us feel comforted knowing that the people who broke in no longer had key access. We had some glitches in the order and some add ins we did rather on the fly. Rich and team had no problem making it right and adjusting quickly. I would definitely recommend this shop, and I probably will go back to them for future hardware needs where I don't feel comfortable doing it myself.
