Since finding this place, I've come here repeatedly to get all my items from el Pueblo to make authentic Mexican dishes. I've enjoyed their bakery and packaged goods they have available. As well as all the items to make champorado at home. Another big plus is the fact, that is if you've been to Mexico, you'll get the vibes of some of the markets are like in Mexico when you start to recognize the candies and products available are the same ones from Mexico, not some wanna be stuff. Only down fall is, I once came into the store, and for what it seems a restocking girl looked like she was taking a break in between on of the aisle. We assumed she was on duty as she WAS in the aisle, with packaged goods around her positioned to be put away, we decided to ask her a question regarding if they had or location of said item. Her attitude spoke volumes of how much disturbance we were bringing to her on her on-site break.

Use to get my candy from here all the time not anymore!! Every single time for the past 6 months there’s nothing but expired candy. Just spend 25 dollars on expired nuts and candy.

Best place in Orem to get goat meat and other fresh Latin and Caribbean products. I am not that fluent in Spanish but Tracy was very helpful and went out of her way to assist me when I shopped there the last couple of times.

The restaurant is always a disappointment in customer experience. I order cheese and pork tamales they told me to come in three hours. I went there at 5 then told me that they weren’t ready. I had to get beef tamales even though I wanted a refund but they don’t do refunds. It’s very poor managed. I’m sure the owner doesn’t care it’s been like that for years

I get pleasantly surprised every time I shop at El Mexicano. I find food, snacks and spices that I could only find in Mexico or specialty stores. The tamales are fantastic and the service is great. I like this store

Amazing tortillas made fresh. Everything from corn street taco sized to large burrito sized flour tortillas, definitely my favorite part about the store. Small bakery and meat area. Go for the tortillas and have a walk around, there is some of everything.

Still the best place for carne asada tacos. A quick lunch, paired with an ice cold Senorial Sangria. $1.50 per taco (now $2.00 as of 04/29/2023). Packed, and authentic. Reminds me of many trips for Street Tacos in TJ as a kid. Highly recommended. Get a large side of beans and large, fresh, store made tortillas to bring home. Their tamales are great, too!!! Pineapple muffins for dessert.I've tried a lot of places in the valley. You can find some good stuff. But nothing matches the authenticity of El Mexicano Market.Bolillo bread, Fruzel fruit jelly, authentic fresh house made tortillas. Yum.

Went with a friend. The deli has wonderful tasting food. This is obviously a place where many of the native Mexicans come shopping and hady a good choice of items for sale (in addition to the deli!)

I purchase a salsa verde yesterday (Sunday 05/21/23) and today it had mold in it along with a piece of something slimy and pink? It was absolutely disgusting. We’ve purchased many salsa verdes from this store and this has never happened. Just beware.
