I started dancing here my sophomore year of high school. Now my daughter dances here and we LOVE it. The teachers and staff are kind and are truly the definition of professional. You won't find a better dance studio in Utah.

We paid for my daughter to be in a show and immediately (next day) called to tell them she wouldn’t be able to do it. We returned the script and asked for a refund. They said they couldn’t refund our card (the way we paid) but would mail us a check. Ok. 4 weeks later, still no check. We went to there and asked to get a check or refund our card. They came up with a million reasons why they couldn’t. Owner is on vacation, management is in a meeting. No one in site can process refunds or write checks. It’s been a month now and we are still waiting. Beware!

My daughter was looking to change studios and I went into Center Stage to find out more about their studio and auditions. When I approached the front desk the girl looked me up and down like we were back in junior high. Then proceeded to rudely dismiss my questions. She treated me like she had way more important things to do. It was surreal. Like walking onto the set of Dance Moms. I will never go back.

Good selection of leotards, tights, and other dance accessories. Awesome staff, and a killer store playlist

The teachers aren't that nice. I tried to pay for a private for my teenager, we got into the class and I won't say her name, but she made it seem like a privilege she was working with my daughter. Number 1 she was a bully. She called my daughter a fat whore, and it completely ruined my daughters self esteem. No one should be treated like that. I pulled my daughter out, but it happened to one of her friends as well. I would not recommend this studio to anyone. If you want your kids to excel take them somewhere else.

My 7yo son is in a ballroom dance class as well as a hip hop class with them. We assume everything is going alright with hip hop, but about 2 weeks ago they called us up to tell us that my son didn't know the ballroom routine well enough to participate in the recital (this week Friday - super short notice).Normally, I think I could swallow this and accept that maybe my son wasn't focused during class well enough, or isn't a natural fit. But, he's been doing it for a year with the class, and they don't allow us to sit in on the class and observe how our kids are doing. We also cannot see how the teachers are teaching. Over the last 2 months (long before we got the call about not performing), when we've picked him up and asked how he liked the class, he's shifted to not enjoying it and the primary reason he's given us multiple times is that "they spent the whole time working with the girls today". I don't feel like this studio runs things well in a way that tries to lift people up and include them. The policy to restrict any observation of the class is ludicrous (makes me so upset).Oh and with the news that he wouldn't be performing, they said he didn't need to come to class if he didn't want to. "Thanks!" And yet, we still got billed for May.Also, the parking lot situation both up and downstairs (behind the building) is NUTS. It's really crowded and can get 100% blocked from time to time. This studio may be really great for some forms of dances and teams, especially if you have a girl who is a fledgeling star. But if you have a boy and/or you've got any inkling they're not made of super star material, they'll probably not fit in. Good luck!** Update: We did get a refund for May and the recital fees

This place is a joke! We paid the money to do a drop-in class. Went to the class, but no teacher for 20 minutes. Kids were running around with no supervision. We went to the front desk to ask for a refund. The girl at the front desk took off for a good 5 minutes. Then came back saying there will be a teacher. We were not interested in wasting any more time, would still like a refund. She said, "only the owner can do that and she just left". Called later to get refund was told it would be refunded. Called the next day and was told the girls should have voided the transaction. Called after the weekend, owner is too busy.Don't waste your time at this studio!Update: After seeing my above review, they mailed me a check. I got it over a week after my non-class experience with them.

Center Stage cares about their students and families like no other. All the instructors are so thoughtful and kind. My daughter's have danced here for 3 years and we plan on dancing here forever. When my son is old enough I plan on having him go too. The biggest endorsement is that my girls are always happy when they come home from dance.

I went to center stage but then quickly left. This is because they would not allow me to compete at the Las Vegas dance awards.

Center stage is a great place witch is why I gave it four stares. Really great teachers and people. I just wish I could be more noticable. The reason I only gave it four stares and not five is because I can't do the thing I really wanted to do,the reason I wanted to go to center stage . And that reason is because I can't see my role models there like kamri Peterson or Rylee. They are all in a whole nother class. And since I couldn't see them and the people were to intimidating I quit center stage. And went on to a new dance studio.

I am a shy person and all but I feel like some of the teachers were helping other students and not me (yes i am black). My first teacher was alright though. I learned a dance with my cousins but then quickly forgot it (my fault though). I overall had fun but every time I go there I feel like everybody is looking at me!
