We had a puncture wound emergency and Wasatch Hollow took care of her during the multiple operations it took to get the wound to close and heal. I’m grateful for their kindness and help in healing Asha.

Great experience. Kind and professional. We had a great experience with our two munchkin cats.

Customer beware! Their business practices have gone from great to predatory and deceitful at best. I was quoted $859 for a dental procedure and informed that it would include the extraction. I paid a $100 deposit, only to find out in office on the day of the procedure that the quote was only for cleaning, and basic work-up to any procedure that may occur including the extraction. In addition, they refuse to refund my deposit over the miscommunication. I would have even settled for credit tword my account.I've been visiting Wasatch Hallow for close to 11 years. I've spent close to $20,000 on care for my many animals over the years, but their integrity and customer service has hit a new low. I feel heartbroken.

Kasey was absolutely amazing. She was beyond genuine and sweet during the process of laying my elderly cat to rest. Thank you for all your help during such a hard time. Kasey made the process so much easier with so much love during the process. Thank you I would 100% recommend going to this clinic, and specifically ask for Kasey, she was outstanding.

I adopted my Kitty Eminem from Wasatch Animal when he was 4 months old. He is the best cat ever! We love him with all our hearts. Our other cat, Winter was an abandoned stray that we took in a year ago, and the two of them together are the best decisions we ever made. Wasatch Animal Hospital is the best!!

We had an emergency when Elmer the chihuahua fell off the balcony. We called Wasatch Hollow because we didn't know any vet clinics in Ogden. They had us bring little Elmer over, and they looked him over within 15 minutes of our arrival. I had thought it might be more than an hour, but they apparently recognized the urgency we felt to know he was okay. And he was okay! Thanks for giving us peace of mind!!

Wasatch Hollow will forever have a soft spot in my heart. We had to lay my 7 year old cat Holly to rest yesterday somewhat suddenly so as you can imagine, it was a very difficult time. The staff handled the situation with such delicacy and took such good care of not only my girl but my children and I too. Vet staff met me at my car after I called them to tell them what was happening. They rushed her inside and gave us a private room to say goodbyes. I can’t say thank you enough for making one of the worst days of my life somewhat easier.

Do not take your pets here!Take them somewhere else, save yourself the money and stress of it all. I had to come in for an emergency and it was 114 dollars, they didn't listen to me, kept insisting it something else, no matter what I said they just wouldn't listen to me. I foolishly purchased all of the medication they filled there when I shouldn't have. They told me his eyes are fine yet prescribed eye drops? His in so much pain because of his mouth, which I kept saying was what I suspect is the issue but they didn't listen. They practically stole 200 dollars from me. I blame the fact that I was having a panic attack for the fact that I paid them anything. Please take your animals somewhere else, same yourself the heart ache and money.

A year ago I'd probably have left three and a half stars. Today I'm leaving five. This place genuinely cares about your concerns. Dr. Hollingsworth went above and beyond when I off handedly mentioned abdominal pain, thinking the main reason for my visit was leg strain. Turns out my dog had pancreatitis and Wasatch acted fast. My girl is still here today because they listened to me, they treated my concerns as valid.I've had vets in the past (not here) that don't fully listen, so I mention this specifically because I know other dog owners have had this happen. It didn't happen to me, and they helped my senior dog get healthy and back to herself.I'd also like to thank the staff that helped. Everyone was so kind and understanding in a difficult visit, that's really all I could ask for.

Today was our first visit to this vet. We were very impressed by the facility. All of the staff were very friendly. We felt very welcomed. I love how we were given a paw impression of our kitten. We are glad we chose this facility and look forward to years of coming here! ?

I have been going here for 7 years because it is close to my home. But will finally be looking elsewhere. All they care about is money. They over charge for prescriptions, they mismanaged my dogs diabetes, was told my dog had arthritis when it was a torn ACL I could go on and on. I’m glad people seem to like the place, but I will not be taking my dogs there again. I DO NOT recommend this vet. I have heard people say that they love their vet and the staff so I will be going where my friends give their recommendations. None of the people in my neighborhood seem to go here.ADDED: I knew this 'rebuttal' was coming from you, Dr. Howard and was prepared for it. Regarding the prescriptions, the clinic had given me prescriptions for the same medications that were prescribed after the surgery. Buyer be ware, that they knew Heidi was on these medications and they still lumped them onto the bill after her surgery at double the cost for 1/3 of the amount. The radiographs were a stretch to call it arthritis. And regarding Fritz, you don't know what I meant by how his diabetes was mismanaged. Yet you are very quick to get on here and try to discredit anyone who gives you a bad review. Fritz did have a teeth cleaning, just not at your facility because the COST IS RIDICULOUS at your facility. What your 'educated' vet tech told me at the time of his diagnosis, had I followed it, would have had my dog dead within a week. Luckily, I'm medical and knew better and had done my own research. I'm happy to go on more about the many ways your clinic puts cost before the animals and their parents.Your staff is well intentioned, but like other reviewers, it is known that you push cost over care.

We brought our small dog to Wasatch Hollow while in the area on vacation. The staff there was great and making an appointment was easy. The exam fee and medication for a mouth infection was fair. Our issue was the pricing for the dental cleaning/teeth extraction. Our dog has had several cleanings and extractions at different vets (in Utah and other states) and we’ve never been charged close to what Wasatch Hollow charged. It was 300% more than we’ve ever paid before. In addition, they recommended other additional testing that would have nickel and dimed us even more (we decided to forego that testing until we get back to our regular vet, if needed). So while I would recommend them for routine veterinary care because the staff was so amazing, I think I’d shop around for dental services.

They came in handy when our baby pups needed to be seen… but unless you can afford $700 for your 19 month old 12 lb Goldendoodle to be spayed… I don’t recommend this place. Ever. Over priced. We won’t be returning.
