“Love this place. BUT One lady tired to say I had to have my cats teeth cleaned for 330$. First she said if the vet wants it then it will be done…even though that’s up to me. I told her no thanks cause the vet said they were already clean and didn’t need it. Just felt like I almost got tricked cause she didn’t highlight it as optional on the paper but highlighted other stuff.”
“This vet is very compassionate and allowed me some alone time with my pit bull that needed to be put to sleep due to losing the use of his back legs. They also gave me full details about what to expect throughout the process. I was able to get his remains in a beautiful cedar box and some momentos to keep him alive in my life. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a compassionate, understanding, full service vet.”
“I'm a super over protective dog mom and these guys were recommended on reddit. They've been great! Super friendly and patient, and were able to take my 9 year old chiweenie for her dental cleaning day even though I was an hour late that morning. They were very sweet to her and returned her to me with a pretty handkerchief ? She's done fantastically after anesthesia and having a couple molars pulled! They also gave her a much needed nail trim (literal devil when it comes to that) no extra charge. Sweet girls and they all seem to care about the animals, no pushing on anything, very appreciated and I feel safe leaving my baby with them ?”
“Dr. Painter is amazing! She is one of the best vets I have ever had for my pets. She is extremely kind, caring and patient. During our visits, I had several questions about our cats condition and treatment and she listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions thoroughly. She never made me feel rushed and takes her time during the appointments. Dr. Painter has gone above and beyond for us and our pets and we are so grateful for her. We highly recommend her for any of your precious fur babies!”

“Today was an emotional day bringing our horse to be put down. Everyone was kind and it was clear they had all been through this, and understood. They were running late because of a previous "complication" but we never felt rushed, and were given every opportunity to choose how this was to go. After giving us all the time we needed, Dr Cox handled it well with immediate relief to our suffering horse. Our sincere thanks to all staff at South Valley Veterinary in Farr West.”
“All 3 vets here are lovely people and so good at their jobs. My entire family uses this clinic, and have never had a problem. Our dogs love Kolste, and he’s done a fabulous job of helping our dog with his anxiety. Miller is so attentive and compassionate. Wiedmier was very reassuring when my kitten had a lump, and didn’t dismiss my concerns. We just had 4 kittens neutered and Miller and techs took excellent care of them, and even provided extra support when our boy was feeling a little dumpy after. The techs are incredible too and it makes for a great experience. Good people all around, who will take good care of your pets:)”

“We love love LOVE the team here! When we rescued our senior dog he was in rough shape and our usual vet couldn't get him in even after we explained the situation. Birch Creek got him in immediately and took excellent care of him and went above and beyond. The vet even called us while on vacation to give us lab results! Since then, we've transferred our other two dogs' records there and they are consistently patient, can always get us in if we have something urgent come up, and are so sweet to our three dogs even though they HATE going to the vet and can be difficult little patients while there . The vets and techs there also take their time and make sure all questions are answered and give lots of options and information every appointment. They also walked us through every price point and gave us several options of things there as well. Their bedside manner is so great and we are so thankful we found them! (For the record, we have seen multiple providers here, but usually see Richardson or Klar!)”
