Jess has done most of my tattoos. She’s so talented, sweet, and a total badass. Everyone is friendly, and welcoming. Environment is clean and chill. I’ve also referred all my friends and family to Jess.

Kyle is an amazing tattoo artist. He recently has been working on a cover up on my arm and I’m a very happy with it. Varnished Anatomy is a clean shop and very welcoming to walk into. Good atmosphere.

Best tattoo shop in Ogden Utah! Between all the artists they are absolutely amazing at any style! I love that they are accommodating and very welcoming. They also sell aftercare products so no need to stop anywhere else for aftercare stuff. Their location is conveniently located with plenty of parking! I got this custom memorial piece for my father that passed away. And to say I love it, is and understatement!

Hands down the best tattoo shop in Ogden Utah. They have a lot of talented artists in this shop. Kyle is my tattoo artist and is hands down the best tattoo artist in Utah. His attention to detail is amazing and I'm never disappointed. If you're looking for a place to get your next tattoo search no further. It's also close to downtown Ogden and restaurants so you can get some yummy food before and after your tattoo.

I'm not a gifted artist, so I'm sure when I proposed my ideas to Kyle he had his work cut out for him.He came up with the exact version of what I had in my head for my tattoos.I get so many compliments at the drive-throughs because of the combination of colors he was able to incorporate into them.He made sure the names were spelled correctly, the placements where I wanted it, and the colors that he was going to use or what I would like as well. He was willing to make any adjustments necessary to ensure that I was going to be completely 100% satisfied!I recommend Kyle and his kind staff to anyone looking to get an awesome tattoo that they will be able to enjoy for the rest of their lives!

Loved my tattoo and experience here!! Melvin is super friendly and a talented artist. He made sure that I was comfortable and satisfied with his work but also took his time to make the tattoo amazing. He truly made the piece a work of art and I’m exited to keep coming back to add to it!

I made an appointment for both my friend and me with Gus. I sent him a photo of both tattoos. When we arrived, he informed us that another artist would work my friend's tattoo due to the delicate lines and details. I appreciate his professionalism and honesty. Varnished Anatomy was recommended by a friend who has had a lot of work done there and spoke highly of them.

Jess-Marie is an amazing tattoo artist. She understood my chaotic description of what I wanted and designed the perfect piece. Her line work, shading, color packing, etc. are fantastic! I have several more tattoos to get, and Jess-Marie will be my only tattoo artist for every tattoo I get from this day forward. Girl, you rock!!!

Nik is awesome and extraordinary with his work!! I only have a few other tattoos, but this was by far the most comfortable experience I've had, and it's my largest tattoo & longest sitting yet!!I'll always come back here for myself and recommend the shop to everyone I know, especially being close to Ogden; Guess I'll just have to travel for my tattoos if I ever move away ?Services: Color ink tattoos
