This isn't the 1800s, we don't need blue mailboxes that only fit postcards. You guys are about 20 years late trying to combat identity theft. Nobody is breaking into blue mailboxes anymore. The city doesn't need a bunch of useless blue mailboxes. People need something to drop off packages in, ya know, sort of like the ones UPS has. Maybe USPS should take some best business practices from them. Stop wasting tax dollars on something nobody will use!!

By FAR the most friendly staff and service I've ever experienced at a government facility.
The lady at the passport area June 14, 2024 was so understanding of errors and such, and helped every step of the way.
Such a kind woman deserves a generous wage.
To Louis DeJoy (PMG):
don't be greedy or you'll lose this ray of sunshine. Finding good people is so difficult.

They are terrible the employees would rather talk with each other for 15 minutes then help you and overcharge you and you can't get a hold of anyone

If I could give zero stars, I would. I have not been receiving my mail. The lady that delivers it pulled up next to my yard while I was taking my dogs out and said she would not deliver my mail until I moved a car that was parked close to my mailbox. I explained to her that it was broke down and that I was working on getting it moved. She was ignorant and said she wouldn't deliver my mail. She then proceeds to hand me a stack of mail that she has been holding from me. I told her, can't you just get out of the car and walk 4 steps to put it in my mailbox. But she said she wouldn't. I then go to the post office and tell them what is happening. The "supervisor " said that she doesn't have to deliver if it's in an unsafe area. I told them I live on a deadend street. There are only 3 houses on it and only 2 of the 3 are occupied. That there is no traffic on the street. He said that delivering the mail was up to her. That she didn't have to if she didn't want to. So I go home and get a couple people to help me push the car away from the mailbox. But I'm still not receiving my mail. Isn't it a federal offense to not deliver the mail. Because this is ridiculous. Is the post office going to start paying my bills that I'm not getting? This post office and the people they have working there are rude. If you can avoid this office, do so.

Aiko in the passport office is literally the most efficient person I have ever interacted with in any kind of professional setting...ever. All while being personable and patient with us as we juggled all the paperwork and chaos of bringing in 2 little kids. Can she run everything everywhere? The world would be a much better place.

Workers steal packages and no one ever answers the phone!

Wish I could give 0 stars. Tried to call for over 1 hour and every time they would pick up the phone and hang up. When I finally got someone to answer, was rude and I asked to speak with a supervisor and she said she was the supervisor. I asked why they answer the phone and then hang up and just said sorry what can I do for you. Explained my issues ( missing mail) and she just placed me on hold and told me she would look into it. Really RUDE and unprofessional!

14 days (16 including Saturdays, active USPS transit days) "moving through the system" from O.C. Calif to Ogden, UT (3680 Pacific), stalled at this station alone for 13 days, then an additional 2-3 days (16-days)?As with a multitude of other valid complaints, these local "stations" or P.O.s sincerely seem to need, one, customer relations training, two, communication skills training and, three, job/career retraining (or training, period). Dealing with the local "stations" (again, P.O.s) has and is confrontational, putting it mildly. We were fortunate enough to reach (after patiently and VERY carefully listening to a labyrinth of USPS V/M prompts) a professional USPS staff member through the "800" who had excellent communication skills, was knowledgeable and thorough who has escalated the aforementioned issues regarding confidential, urgent documents mailed to the IRS (SSN, etc).An example of USPS substandard interpersonal relationship skills, when commented to a local senior P.O. employee, "this is why the USPS is loosing business, why consumers are avoiding the USPS," that USPS employee literally and angrily yelled, "You don't know what the H@!L you're talking about", in the presence of a busy lobby, crowded with USPS customers (and management refuses to do anything about these types of issues at this particular station). With this type of substandard service (actually, lack thereof, the exception being our local route carriers), it this entity was not protected by federal agencies, rules and laws, i.e., if this gaggle of clowns were a commercial enterprise, it would've been forced out of business long ago. After this latest issue (missing, confidential Federal documents, confrontational USPS employee) I'll comply with my own comments made to the aforementioned USPS, pay the additional few dollars for FedEx, get far better, superior and reliable service, while avoiding the aggravation and frustrations of the USPS.

The post office by the new gate mall which so called main post office. Sucks! Do not go there to do your passport review.

They never answer the phone. If you want to talk with someone about a delivery you always have to go there.

I have no complaints about this branch. I have been told this is the main branch. I don't know if the mail person needs glasses or more training. This is on going. Mail placed in the wrong box at Pleasant Valley. We are re delivering the mail. TODAY I was told I had a package. The only problem is it belonged to someone else. I never did get my package! This is past being tolerable.

I just wanted to ask a simple question, but was met with a rude, snarky attitude. I knew exactly where to call for what, but I just wanted a simple answer any other postal office could have given me, so I called the first one that popped up. I would suggest an attitude check with your girls up front in the phones.

Aiko was amazing with helping me get my passport. I was juggling my one year old while trying to figure out paperwork and payments and she was so patient, helpful, and so understanding.

We just applied for our daughter's passport. She was 4 weeks old and it was very tricky to get her picture done, all while trying to entertain our 21month old. AIKO is the name of the lady who assisted us and she was an absolute angel, so patient and sweet through it all. I really appreciated how she made us feel comfortable and she kept a warm smile in the chaos. She deserves a raise!
