I've always gone to TJ trailers for parts and always been able to find what I needed. Today was my first experience working with them for service and repairs on my trailer. I needed some electrical work done, I took the trailer in and understood they would need to look at the trailer before they could estimate a price for me, I said that would be fine just call me when they complete the diagnostic. So I left the trailer. They called me the following business day but I missed the call so they left a message explaining what they found and what they expected the cost to be. Once I got the voicemail and was available to call them back later that morning, maybe two hours later, I called and explained the price was higher than I was expecting and asked if I could just purchase all the parts from them instead. They told me that instead of waiting to hear back they went ahead with the work and I owed them over $700. I explained that I understood I would have a chance to review and approve the cost before the work was done but instead they apologized and said I could come pick up the trailer. When I went in to pick up the trailer I spoke to Larry the owner and he was very standoffish and dismissive. I explained that I wasn't trying to be difficult just fair and I never got a chance to approve the cost before the work was done they just assumed I would swallow whatever price they came up with. I went in willing to compromise but after I was treated so poorly by the owner I really felt like they were trying to take advantage of me. I offered to pay for materials and the diagnostic and he told his cashier to take my money so he can get back to doing other things and told me to "go somewhere else next time". Totally changed my perspective on their business. There are other reviews like this too so don't think it won't happen to you. After I paid and went out back to get my trailer Larry sent his cashier out to ask me for more money... what?!! I went in and paid because I really was trying to be fair but needless to say I won't be back to go through that again. Hopefully this review helps other customers avoid the same situation, Larry already told me he doesn't pay attention to the reviews..

TRAILER ISSUES? THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! Larry and his two Son's saved my trip! Rolled into this pace on a Saturday morning with tire issues. Larry took the time to listen to our issues and inspected our brakes. After discovering we had larger issues than originally anticipated with our tires, Larry and his two son's decided to help us out even though their service department was closed. These guys were top notch! They were very knowledgeable, and took time to explain what was going on and how the issue was fixed. They jumped right on fixing my trailer without asking for anything! One son went to work on the wheels while the other took care of the brakes. We were operating safely and back on the road in no time! They were the most friendly and caring people we could have asked for! Extremely fair pricing too! THANK YOU LARRY AND SONS!

Always super helpful. I've bought two trailers from them and serviced many more. They're always great to take care of anything I've got going on. Never had them not be able to fix something. I absolutely recommend them without reservation.

This is the 2nd time I've been here. Both times they had exactly what I needed without having to dig or search. This time, I came in looking for wheel bearings for a wood chipper. I was worried it would be a hard part to find but I was in and out in 5 min.

Larry was absolutely amazing and super helpful!! I was able to call him, send him pictures and get a quote immediately. He was super kind and more than willing to answer any questions I had. I was informed it may take weeks before I got my trailer back, and I literally got it back a week later!! I definitely recommend TJ Trailers to fix your trailer!! Thanks again Larry! Unbelievable accommodation! We are a Canadian horse transport company. We had a wheel issue and they were able to get us in first thing in the morning and out before noon back on the road! Outstanding service and with a smile!
