I used their delivery service, the shopper stole over $150 on my card purchasing his own food. I called immediately to let smiths know and to get a refund. They said I would get my money back, over a week went by I called 4 times, (just to be told to keep waiting) tried their live chat who closed my conversation 3 times with no help and wrote an email. When I finally got ahold of someone in the finance department they told me instacart won't issue the refund on their end because they don't have definitive proof I didn't want or didn't receive those items. They then tried to tell me I might have "forgotten" that I ordered or received them. Their shopper used my card to go on a shopping spree, smiths says they are simply helpless and instacart is trying to gaslight me. Finally a worker in the financial department named Liz believed me and made everyone go through the items list by list and prove that I ordered them and instacart finally admitted they were wrong and Liz got me a refund. I am grateful to her but overall I could not say enough how horrible this experience was.

I've been noticeding the prices are going up dramatically even their so called managers special is a joke some of the greeters in checkout. are very rude and .I'll be going elsewhere......hope you do the same.....

Not a great grocery store to begin with but here's what makes it just downright bad. It's almost all self checkout, I don't work for Smith's, it's not my job to ring up all my groceries. My biggest complaint though is how at night they act like everyone who walks in is a criminal. They close off all but one door and barricade the rest of the entrances and exits with carts. Seems like a fire hazard to me but it's also a hassle. You are forced to walk through the hordes of people at self checkout to enter the store. Plus when it's almost closing time they really let you know that they don't want you there.

After dark, you treat all customers like criminals. We have to walk the wrong direction through the self-checkout area in order to shop here, just so you can get a good look at us. It's not the average person's fault that the city is filled with low-lives. It seems to me that your organization is managed by small-minded low-lives as well. I won't be spending my money here as long as you treat your customers this way. If you're scared of being robbed, you should hire some security... that seems like the obvious solution to anyone who hasn't bought into liberal ideologies. Responsible citizens are tired of being treated like the scum that is quickly filling up society. You don't deserve my money as long as you operate like the US government currently does. I hope you figure it out soon, because Fresh Market is just up the road and they don't act like scared, weak losers like you.

Had a birthday cake ordered. We were gonna pick up at night before they closed but decided it would be fine to grab in the morning cause they told us it would be refrigerated. They called us the morning of and said the cake had been left out all night and that it would have to be remade. No big deal. Once we picked it up we were told they didn't read the card details on their notes and that the cake didn't have a fudge filling; which was pretty much the only specification we requested, and then we were brought out the cake which looked pretty lame. Already sucks that they didn't put filling into it but the colors and texture and line work was clearly rushed. The whole thing just looks crooked and sad.. Good thing it's for a 5 year olds birthday but we absolutely won't be returning for another. Thanks for nothing. Oh at least they discounted the cake. Should have been free in my opinion after screwing it up twice but I never expect anything like that from multi billion dollar companies. SmItHs

Tyra had a major attitude towards all self check out customers due to the lines being backed up- she definitely was rude to a man whom had clear disability & was attempting to use a self check out that was closed :'( so sad to watch fr , disgraceful & a shame, she legit raised her voice at him. I coulda handled/ let go of the attitude towards me,
yet her aggressive manor towards that confused older gentleman triggered myself & everyone waiting in line ?I saw multiple other customers giving looks and raising eyebrows at her attitude towards the older man specifically... everyone in line could also tell he was physically or mentally disabled. & all seemed uncomfortable with her tone / demeanor.
Also every time I visit this smiths they have an abundant amount of mold growing under their items & shelves ,
They fail to check expiration dates & the entire bottom of the vegan section Is growing 3 types of mold which legit hits you in the face with a moldy smell when opening that fridge section, i will not be shopping this smiths again due to miss Tyra's attitude and her rude display of discrimination towards an obvious confused older man with clear disabilities :( shameful
Spend less time discriminating people? & spend more time cleaning all yalls fridges of mold?
